ldstlou - yes I would say this has to be THE Dos Santos.  Remember the name came up when Guido was detained.  Jossy mentioned the name Dos Santos.

Woohoo!! we found him..going to go back and re-read...think this guy was least involved..spent least amount of time w. Joran after Natalee went missing...was least prepped and so most likely to get closer to some truth from his statements. Great job Klaas...had NO IDEA!! you had to actuallt translate all of these statements!! As usual..you ARE amazing!!

Yep.  Lovely saying on that t-shirt huh?  He wore the same shirt a couple weeks ago so it wasn't such a surprise to me when I saw it again.

I don't know about what the fake security guard said...don't remember.

Nice to see you posting in the LCD thread!  Welcome!

ldstlou - some of the orignal statements that were posted came to us already translated. One we had one of our friendly Aruban posters do but she's not available right now.  I've been doing the rest and they aren't perfect by any means.

But I decided that it was more important to openly show by this investigation - even to the outside world - that no stone will be left unturned to solve the case and that nothing is left undone in order to find all the facts.

Remkes sloot vrijdag een bezoek van vijf dagen aan Sint Maarten, Curaen Aruba af. Hij heeft op de eilanden gesprekken gevoerd over veiligheid en rechtshandhaving.

Remkes ended a five-day visit to Sint Maarten, Curaçao and Aruba on Friday. He had talks on the islands about security and the rule of law.

Opening wounds??? This is infuriating!!! They were never closed!! Just take a look at the gaping hole in the hearts and souls of Natalee's family...they have got to be kidding!! Makes me worry this "investigation" already has an ending!! They are just going to go through the motions now. I pray it isn't so!! But certainly!! that comment makes me feel they are CERTAINLY!! not doing this for Natalee or her family!! Did anyone else read it that way?

Klaas, I am sure it is not an easy job and very time consuming to do those translations and post them. Thanks for your hard work and devotion to Natalee's cause and this board.

Hi Klaas-

You do crack me up friend, what night is complete without Jerry?  Laughing

Koen looks as we say in the south, ridden hard and put away wet. This is not a good thing, stress can do that, along with hard living on the lam.

Hey Easy-

I know you don't mean that buddy. Take a break, it's finally a pretty day in our parts again, I can even see a few leaves starting to turn. Some fresh air will do us all some good.

Plus it's officially football today....and yes this is O/T but it's for my boy, the scrub who has had a rough summer and likely really misses his Dad today, but is trying to keep his chin up.

How None!! How ya holding up Sweetie? I have been thinking of you and praying God is sending you all strength!! HOLY COW!! Glad I am not the only one that noticed Koen has swelled up like a piggy!! Is something by chance "eating at him"??!!

I read it the same way. That makes it sound like they think it has all been gone over just fine and the investigation was done in an appropriate way. If they go in with that attitude, then it will be reinvestigating all for show. Jossy (per his interview on Dana P. show)seems to think they will do a good job and not play any favoritism. I pray he is right.

I'll have to reread but it looks like Andre is stating that:

sometime between 8:30 and when Deepak arrived at 12:00, Joran and Guido left the casino for an unspecifed period of time to go to Joran's house

between 12:00 and 2:00 (when Deepak says he and Joran left for the Wyndham), Deepak, Guido, and Joran all left the casino and were gone for about an hour

And somwehere (from Guido?) polis got the idea that at the casino Deepak and Joran were talking about picking up shoes.

Thanks for all your hard work with these statements Klaas.  I had no idea you were translating them; I just thought you were typing them out - which is no small task either.
Since, I am a believer that Paul was the instigator of Joran's pursuit of Natalee, I keep looking for information about him in the statements but those questions never got asked.  I am hoping that Paul's greed with his lawsuit against the government for a financial settlement will be his undoing.  Something has to break this case.

Andre statement:
saw that Joran walking around in the casino. I saw then that "Guido WEAVER" came into the Casa Blanca casino of the Wyndham hotel and walked up to Joran. I no longer remember what time Guido WEAVER arrives at the casino. Because Joran and Guido wanted to play a “live game”, they told me they went to Joran’s house to pick up money to gamble with. [/b]

Why hasn't this been in any of Joran's statements?  Maybe this is the first time I have heard of this, but I don't recall anyone else saying anything about him leaving with Guido.  BTW maybe this is my Brazillian connection. Thinking again.

Oh Hi monkeys, sorry, I got excited again and forgot to say hello.

Deepak's car was spotted earlier at the VDS.
There is a window of opportunity here. But why / how did Guido get sucked into this ?

Nope, don't remember seeing it in any other statements.  Interresting huh?  Did you see my post regarding Andre's father?

Since I realized that I had mixed up the time zones from the morning that Natalee disappeared, I've been rethinking what may or may not have happened.

2:30 AM~ Deepak, Joran and third male seen at raquet club in Deepak's Honda.

4:00 AM Aruba/3:00 AM Birmingham~ Natalee makes calls to William's phone and to Twitty residence.

Was the raquet club an exchange point to pass Natalee on to someone else?

Joran June 14:
Guido and myself went for a circular walk. After that Guido and myself walked to his car. His car was in the parking lot of the Wyndham Hotel. After that we drove to the Aruba Grant so that I could cash in my chips at the cashier. These were the chips that I had won earlier. Because it had turned eight o'clock earlier I had been unable to cash my chips then. Guido and myself played black jack in the Aruba Grant Casino for about 45 minutes. At the Aruba Grant I had won approximately U.S. 50,-. After that, at approximately 23.15 pm Guido and I arrived at the Radison Casino.

Maybe this is the same as going to Joran's house to get money. I really can't tell for sure.  Rolling Eyes
