I don't have the tech brain as a camera operator would have.. maybe the wheels were changed from 5 to 6 spokes for the math ratio in filming and it would be better to mask 1 of 6 than 1 of 5. They film at 30 frames a sec., I think so masking 1 0f 6 gives them still a division of 30 evenly but 1 less than 5 spokes (=4) doesn't divided into 30 evenly.
