This was taked in March 2005

In March 2005, 2 American girls went to Aruba.  At some point durring their trip they met up with Stef, a local girl they call Loco Stef.  Stef is a friend of Joran's.  A photo of Joran, Deepak, Freddy and the girls in a car Deepak's driving was posted on the internet.  The photo came from Bailey Ann's webshot site (which she has now made some changes to).  Here are those original photos prior to the changes made by Bailey Ann.  Note:  I'm not sure we ever determined for sure what vehicle this is:

I am still bothered by the back quarter panel the one that is on the driver's side of the car.  Is that the right or the left?  I keep calling it the left because I am viewing it from the back, but I think it is the right if you are looking at it from the front?
   

I wonder if you can replace just that section or if it is an all in one body.

The back door does not go flush against the car when it is closed, the trunk doesn't match up right where the lights are concerned and the back of the car seems to go down further than the other side.  When I see the whole panel, it reflects light in a crinkly fashion (I can't think of any other way to describe it).  At first I thought it was the lighting, but now I see it reflects that way in other light, too.

I thought about this.  One car seems to be gray and doesn't reflect the light as much.  The car in the reenactment looks like aluminum foil (silver) and reflects the light more giving it a crinkly effect.  No matter how dark it is, when a light shines on the reenactment car it looks shinier--what I was calling crinkly.

Speculation alert.

Supposedly Freddy was a Joran's apartment. 

That gray looking car is in front of Freddy's house, right?  Do you think that Freddy has a car that either belongs to Joran or he lends to Joran to drive so Joran's parents don't find out about it?
 
Maybe the reason they stopped at the house was to change cars.  If whatever happened to Natalee happened in the one car, it could explain how the blood changed into chocolate.  It was another car.  It would also explain why Joran was in the driver's seat and why everyone keeps saying gray.

I can't believe that  Deepak has chocolate in his car by the way he keeps it so clean.  Freddy on the other hand looks like he is pretty sweaty (like a drug induced sweat) and strikes me as someone who might have chocolate in their car.  Do you think there are actually 2 cars and they are messing around again, like with the sneakers?

Why do they paint nature white in Aruba?  Rocks?  Trees?

Bearly, I asked the same questions when I was in the Caribbean. Many of the islands do it. I was told that most times, it's an insecticide mixed in white paint that is painted/sprayed on. By using the paint, it makes it easier to see any bugs that may continue to attack a tree. It became so common to see this, that eventually, people just started painting trees for decoration.

The picture is interesting but the timing of the posting of this picture as I recall is also interesting. I recall it was posted around the end of October/early November 2005 by an unknown person on a "myspace" type site of Jorans. I recall at the time it was posted that Dutchlady felt it was possibly meant as a taunting message, a gesture of defiance. I know we have seen the pics of Freddy(looking oh-so-wasted) with Steffy and Bailey Ann in the back seat of a car , but there is no way to know if that pic and this were of the same event. I still have to agree for such a dumb looking photo.....there had to have been more to it than just a random view of the back of DK's head and JvdS left shoulder. ....still wonder if there was a message.......

I can't believe that  Deepak has chocolate in his car by the way he keeps it so clean.  Freddy on the other hand looks like he is pretty sweaty (like a drug induced sweat) and strikes me as someone who might have chocolate in their car.  Do you think there are actually 2 cars and they are messing around again, like with the sneakers?

According to the misinformation posters…Freddy has an alibi “so tight” from his “important others”, big family reunion….

Posts from August 2005 indicate that Freddy was arrested because of something to do with Simian’s “other car” on the night Natalee disappeared.

Don't know, Poochy.  I think it would be really hard to hide a car with a body in it.

I am still bothered by the back quarter panel the one that is on the driver's side of the car.  Is that the right or the left?  I keep calling it the left because I am viewing it from the back, but I think it is the right if you are looking at it from the front?
   

I wonder if you can replace just that section or if it is an all in one body.

The back door does not go flush against the car when it is closed, the trunk doesn't match up right where the lights are concerned and the back of the car seems to go down further than the other side.  When I see the whole panel, it reflects light in a crinkly fashion (I can't think of any other way to describe it).  At first I thought it was the lighting, but now I see it reflects that way in other light, too.

I thought about this.  One car seems to be gray and doesn't reflect the light as much.  The car in the reenactment looks like aluminum foil (silver) and reflects the light more giving it a crinkly effect.  No matter how dark it is, when a light shines on the reenactment car it looks shinier--what I was calling crinkly.

Speculation alert.

Supposedly Freddy was a Joran's apartment. 

That gray looking car is in front of Freddy's house, right?  Do you think that Freddy has a car that either belongs to Joran or he lends to Joran to drive so Joran's parents don't find out about it?
 
Maybe the reason they stopped at the house was to change cars.  If whatever happened to Natalee happened in the one car, it could explain how the blood changed into chocolate.  It was another car.  It would also explain why Joran was in the driver's seat and why everyone keeps saying gray.

Don't ask me why, but I've been looking at the car photos.  Seems that one mirror has an extension (??). Can you compare both passenger side mirrors and not the one passenger side to the driver's side?  TIA

Not the lights. Compare both passenger mirrors.  The mirror comparison is a passenger mirror to a drivers mirror.  I'm thinking the pass. mirror has an extension...is that extension on both cars?

I sure wish I knew how to post pictures side by side!  I noticed the pic of the bumper on the bottom right has a shaped contour that I have not seen in any of the other pictures.  I also have seen the trim on the side of the car is different on some of the car pictures.  On one, it looks like it has some dimension to it, and on others it looks flush with the car.  I don't know if all these pictures on the last few pages are supposed to be Deepaks, but  they are definitely different cars.  I can't help but believe Joran had a car, or use of one because of the comment of the kids at the beach that originally led C.Croes to Joran's house when he asked whose car it was.  I can't believe after all this time, all these lies, all this deception, that our Natalee is not any closer to having justice.  It kills me to see the VDS family having fun in the sun, with absolutely no remorse or conscience.

Thanks Carpe!!  I looked on your site and didn't find the ones to compare, but couldn't find them, so I went to sleep.  I am talking about the picture posted above, by bearlyhere, (pg 35) the bottom photo which shows the side trim.  Now I am all confused on which photos I was looking at!!
