Does the name Johnny Gosch ring a bell? For those that have followed missing person cases for a long time it should.

He was one of the very first missing children to ever be placed on a milk carton in the 1980’s.

when he was kidnapped.

"I went up to him, asked him [Gosch] a question," said Bonacci. "At
that point he was close enough to the car where Tony [another
kidnapper] had pulled up in the van and they pushed him in the car
and they had a rag with chloroform in the bag that they had us
stick over his face. And then put it back in the bag after he was
out...We drove several miles...we met up with a station wagon and a
van several times."

After switching vehicles and changing direction, the kidnapping of
Johnny Gosch was over.

Investigator: Photos not of missing boy
Mom sent pictures of bound, gagged boys after son disappeared in 1970s

DES MOINES, Iowa - The photos of bound and gagged boys that were sent to an Iowa woman whose son disappeared 24 years ago were investigated in the late 1970s and are not her missing son, a retired Florida sheriff’s investigator said Wednesday.

Nelson Zalva, who now works for the Hillsboro County, Fla., State Attorney’s Office, said he investigated the same photos while working for the county’s sheriff in 1978 or 1979.

“I remember this case,” he said. “I identified the kids portrayed in the photos. It was definitely investigated by me several years prior to the disappearance of Johnny Gosch.”

The photos were in an envelope left at the West Des Moines home of Johnny’s mother, Noreen Gosch, on Aug. 27.

One photo, in black and white, shows a boy bound and gagged on a bed. Another is a color photo of the same boy in a similar pose with two others boys.

Noreen Gosch turned the photos over to police, who have been investigating the authenticity of the photos and any connection her son.

Johnny was 12 when he disappeared from his neighborhood before daybreak on Sept. 5, 1982. His photo was became one of the first of a missing child to be put on a milk carton. Police have said they believe he was abducted but they have few clues.

Zalva said his investigation never resulted in an arrest because the children in the photos never admitted that the suspect touched them inappropriately. He said the boys in the photos had voluntarily posed for the photos, but he couldn’t recall why.

“Basically, what happened is someone, maybe it was one of the parents, found the photos and called the sheriff’s office and deputies went out there, impounded the photos and the case was assigned to me for investigation,” Zalva said. “I worked a long time on it, getting the kids identified.”

Lt. Jeff Miller, a West Des Moines Police spokesman, said the investigation is continuing into who left the photos at Noreen Gosch’s house.

“If they are not of Johnny Gosch, someone is playing a horrible prank,” he said.

Miller said Gosch has been informed of the Florida investigation.

A telephone message left Wednesday morning for Gosch was not immediately returned.

Gosch Case Revisited As His Birthday Draws Near

Johnny Gosch disappeared on Sept. 5, 1982 while delivering newspapers on his paper route for The Des Moines Register. He was 12 years old at the time, and this Thursday - on Nov. 12 - coincides with his would-be 40th birthday.

Though he was never found, this is still classified a "missing person" case. One woman who is holding out hope is his mother, Noreen Gosch, who posted the following to The Johnny Gosch Foundation Web site in the lead-up to November 12, accompanied by a photo:

Among those to revisit this case in conjunction with his 40th birthday is CNN. Philip Rosenbaum and Nancy Grace reported:

Johnny Gosch is still officially considered a missing person by police, and his disappearance remains an open case. But there are no new leads or information to actively pursue, Coppess said. About five leads come in every year, he said.

The battle this woman has been through.. amazing
The organized groups that consistantly work to protect the guilty parties involved in child kidnapping and inslavment for purposes related to sex is something that should have americans up in arms. This is what disinformation does to people. It makes people question using there common sense and supporting of the victim and his family.
Same thing happened with Natalee Holloway, the disinformation group made people take sides instead of joining together to defeat Evil People that are ALL Free to do more Evil in the future..
There was enough evidence in this case to make a congressional hearing on the subject, it all went before deaf ears. King did end up going to jail for tax related crimes but not the Child
