People really need to go back and listen closely to what Art Wood said. I tend to forget that everyone knows or remembers info because of being privy to a lot of info.

1) The part about JVDS lying as to where they were gambling the night that Beth showed up at their house for one. For what purpose would you have to lie.

2) The police knew the 3 were lying and arrested 2 other people anyhow.

Why lie? Why deceive. Incompetence? Art Wood does not seem to think so ... he says intentional.

What also struck me was when Art indicated that the high ranking official took him and Eduardo to a residence wanting them to do surveillance because he did not truct his own staff.

And how can Beth go on Greta's show and smile and answer her questions when she knows Greta did not conduct the interview she was capable of doing?  Greta is smart, and yet she deliberately ignored Joran's lies and pandered to him on TV.   That is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!  And, Beth has nerves of steel to speak civilly to that woman now.

I think Beth has had to "steel" herself.  I think she was very hurt when Greta called her and told her she believed Joran, but Beth dealt with that although she was dealing with other things such as a broken leg at the time.  Now, I notice Beth has gone to see Greta.  I think Beth is perhaps more savvy than Greta.  

You can be articulate and stupid, but you cannot be stupid and go through what Beth has and smile at your enemies because you know this might lead to something else for you.  Greta may be articulate but she is plain stupid to have let that big galoop make a fool of her, or worse yet, be his little toy that he played with on TV.  He broke her determination and played her for a fool.

I think he told Joran to say he was at the Wyndham to throw them off, so they would not find him at the Radisson.  This was as much deceit on the part of Paulus and Joran as it gets, and then the lie about the HI and the two black security guards.  He had to give Joran and K2 time to do what they were doing without any intervention.

I think he told Joran to say he was at the Wyndham to throw them off, so they would not find him at the Radisson.  This was as much deceit on the part of Paulus and Joran as it gets, and then the lie about the HI and the two black security guards.  He had to give Joran and K2 time to do what they were doing without any intervention.

According to Joran, that's when they came up with the Holiday Inn lie.  Maybe they needed time to figure that one out.

Disagree with Art about the girl Satish hit being Natalee.  That doesn't make sense in the context of the rest of the conversation, where they are all acting like they don't know what happened to her.  And when they refer to Natalee they call her "the girl", but Joran says Satish hit "a girl".

Joran knows he is being recorded and he is not going to come out and say Satish hit the girl.  If he did he buries himself too because the Kalpoes have information on him and they all go down.

I might be alone in this opinion, but I haven't thrown Greta under the bus yet.  She may have used that tactic with Joran in order to get the most out of him.  Any other method and he might have clammed up and not provided anything.  

Let's just say I've used that technique in business prior to firing someone.  Let them talk, get their side, and then come back with absolute proof and dispell what they've said...  I  just hope Greta took every single detail that was said and uses it to disprove Joran's credibility....now that's the report I want to see....

What's wrong with this picture?  Would not any NORMAL father have told his son to get himself home and pronto?  Do adults go to children like that?  Not around here!  Stalling desperately for time.  We need to know if Joran was even at the Radisson because if you will recall this was shortly after CCRoes saw Deepak's car at the Sloots.  They were warned and never at the casino.  What were they doing and with Deepak's car?

I agree. Why should anyone have to go out chasing after them?  What ever happened to "get your butt home"??  Makes no sense to chase after the "children" unless you're just stalling for time.

Oh, I do not think he was either but there had to be a lie so they did not go to the Casino that he would say he was at, so he could change that tale if it caught up with him.
