The news? Read the following quote from this AOL news article, titled, Defense attorneys argue for release of Dutch suspect in case of missing U.S. teen, written for the AP by Margaret Wever. From the article:

    (van der Sloot’s defense attorney Antonio) Carlo said prosecutors introduced two allegations of a “sexual nature” against van der Sloot. He declined to provide details on the allegations, but insisted they were not new.

    “We don’t consider them new circumstances,” he said. “They have been in the file for about two months.”

    Prosecutors could not be reached for comment…

It is the job of any defense attorney under any westernized legal system to say things like, “We don’t consider them new circumstances,” and I am sure there is truth in what Joran van der Sloot’s lawyer told the press. But here’s another truth—if the charges have been “on file,” why is it only now they are being brought into play?

After at least one young woman from Aruba has come forward to accuse van der Sloot of sexual indiscretions? After the arrest of “Locoman Pimp” Freddy Arambatziz, Joran’s former tennis partner and best buddy, and the release of charges against the “Locoman Pimp” that make it sound like some underage amateur porno was being done on the island, most unfortunately without the consent of the likely star, a young teen female.


It strikes me rather strongly that the introduction of those charges that Carlo said have already been on file for a while now is pretty significant, coming on the tail of Freddy Arambatziz’s arrest. And Freddy being charged with “Intentionally distributing sexual images of a minor,” and “Intercourse with an unconscious person,” as well as “Sexual acts with a girl younger than 16 years.”

Do the math, already. Athletic, cocky young men, always up for a party. “Images?” Raise your hand, readers, if you think as I do that one of the ‘stars’ of Freddy’s ‘images’ might very well be a hard-partying 6’5” dutch teenager whose last name means “from the ditch.”

Klaas, was it not Aruba Girl who knew of the porn business being a big industry on Aruba, or was it NL, who later denied it?  Hahahaha.

People need to quit going to those porno sites and posting.

I would also like to know why the New York Times is more worried about  the Caribbean’s tourism than they are about releasing secrets regarding how the CIA and Treasury Department are tracking international banking transactions by terrorist operatives. It couldn’t possibly be because they get a tremendous amount of revenue from Caribbean tourism ads could it? Looks like another in a group that puts money and tourism over security.

Because they are a din of pseudointellectuals who are for "anything goes" and their 60s upbringing, "if it feels good, do it," continues to be supported and kept alive by their constituency who will do anything for money and claim it is all "for the greater good," just another way to spit in the face of Condi & Bush.   They need to sweep around their own back doors.  I do hope the AG will prosecute them and the leakers to the fullest extent under the treason act which allows for that.  FDR would have.

Sorry Red but this is the Natalee Holloway thread.  I doubt anyone in here can answer your question.  They do know about making smoothies though.  Instead of loading it up with cottage cheese why not buy some whey protein powder?  So much healthier and keeps for a very long time.

Actually Red I thought everyone had to have a passport by the end of the year.  I think it definitely should be required entering from Mexico and Canada no matter who you are.  They are probably concerned that Mexican passports are harder to forge than the other Mexican documents so they're giving them another two years for the Mexican smugglers to figure it out.  When did they decide to wait past 2006?

Yes Tony, I beleive you are right on.  I am curious as to why Paulus needed to pay for Freddy's attorney though.  From Sasha's birthday party, where it appears Freddy is a family member looked to me like his family was fairly wealthy.  Why would Paulus pay for his attorney then?

PRAYERS NEEDED

We are in need of some prayers today.  One of my little Yorkies, Chyna Doll is undergoing emergency surgery as I type this.  She has a 3 inch gash on the side of her face showing bone and was running a slight temperature by the short time it took to get her to the vet.  She only weighs 4# 2 oz and is a very frightened little girl.  While she is under anesthesia she is going to have her teeth cleaned as well, if all goes well.  Please, please say a prayer for my little girl.  I truly believe that her breeder, Pat, is watching out for her from heaven, but the extra prayers for her would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Were and what did the two ATM withdrawals really go for.
Why was Ben Vocking at the house when the police arrived?
Why didn't Van Der Stratten tell us all how close he is to Paulus?
Why was a coworker allowed to interogate Paulus (Karen J)?

I went to some sites this am regarding Aruba's economy.
None of them have a real positive outlook.
Also tried, but could not find the history of the Aruban Florin AWG against the US dollar.
1 CDN dollar = 1.61305 as of today.
1 US dollar =  1.81  "  "
Because Aruba does not produce oil, their economy suffers when oil prices rise.
Sometimes the currency of a country plotted against the currency of another country is a good indicator of the strength of their economy.
