lbany Police Search for Missing Boy

July 20, 2008 - 2:04PM

Albany Police are searching for a missing 9 year old boy who has been missing since Friday, July 18.

 Vincent Elnahcere was last seen leaving from his Orange Street residence at 10:30pm after getting into a dispute with his grandmother.  Police have checked several possible locations but the boy has not yet been found.

 Elnahcere was last seen wearing blue shorts with yellow cuffing and a white t-shirt with an "avon" logo over his left chest.  He is described at 5' tall, 104 lbs, and a black male.

When was he reported missing?  Who saw him leave?  Did he leave with anyone?  How old is he?  Is this the first time he ran out?  What was the dispute over--was it about going out?  If yes, where did he want to go and with whom?  Albany?  NY?

Not to much is known yet apparently. Vincent is 9, I would imagine his grandmother saw him leave as they were the ones having the argument, not sure if anyone else was there. The article I posted was from 2:04 pm EST today.

Missing boy found safe

ALBANY, N.Y. -- An Albany boy is home safe after being missing for more than a day. Police say Vincent Elnahcere, 9, was found safe at a relative’s home.

The boy had been reported missing after leaving his home Friday night after an argument with his grandmother.
