Aruba Agrees with the conditions of the Netherlands (National Police Corps, KLPD) assistance in the investigation of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway

I sure hope we get a chance to view these conditions !!!
How is this any different that when the Dutch Investiagors were there last year?

ARUBA – The Dutch minister of Home Affairs, Johan Remkes (VVD) has approved the assistance of the Netherlands in the investigation on the disappearance of the American teenager Natalee Holloway.  That happened in the absence of Justice-minister Rudy Croes (MEP).  It was Croes that requested Dutch assistance.  Remkes indicated at the end of the meeting with prime minister Nelson Oduber (MEP) that Aruba has agreed with the conditions that the Netherlands had associated with the assistance.  Specialists of the Korps Landelijke Politie Diensten (National Police Corps, KLPD) will lead the location and will also get total tracing authorities.  The KLPD-detectives are allowed to carry weapons and will get accessibility to all technical tracing-means.  “So the team can start”, said Remkes.    

The detectives will travel to Aruba in a few weeks.  The minister couldn’t say yet how many detectives will come to Aruba; he thinks between 5 and 15.  He expects the investigation to last for weeks and not months.  The Netherlands will pay for the costs.

Remkes denied the rumours about discontinuing the services of the Detective Collaboration Team (RST).  He said that they are looking into improving the effectiveness of the RST.   Aruba can have an important role in this study.  Remkes was kind of irritated about the fact that minister Rudy Croes was not present at the meeting, during which they also talked about the improvement of the Aruban police.  Remkes said that if Croes wanted to give his opinion, he should have been present.    

Remkes didn’t want to comment on a future structure with possibly one attorney general and one police corps for Aruba and the islands of the current Neth.Antilles.  

“The conversations on this are just orientated.  That will happen more often in the coming months.  The Netherlands will just have a listening position in these conversations.  If you want to choose for a different structure, you will have to be sure that it is also better for the people.”

When the Dutch team with the dogs came before, I think last April they were assisting ALE.  The Dutch team will now have full control over the investigation and the Netherlands will cover all costs of the KLPD.

Oldfart - that part I'm not sure about.  I'd be willing to bet though that IF the Dutch team gets access to ALL the statements, they will interpret them differently and will be able to re-interrigate.  KJ is in charge of ALE so my guess is they don't have to run it past her.

Someone was asking about the pictures I posted of Jim's collectables and wanted to know is that where he lives.. Yes he lives in the house with the collectables with his wife a small dog.. The work area is the sheds out back..  The other picture of the SouthWestern decor is my friends Mother Inlaw and she is 83 and she really doesn't look it.. She lives in Venice on the west coast of Florida and I took a few pictures of her house..

Oldfart - that part I'm not sure about.  I'd be willing to bet though that IF the Dutch team gets access to ALL the statements, they will interpret them differently and will be able to re-interrigate.  KJ is in charge of ALE so my guess is they don't have to run it past her.

BUT is NOT her position the position that has to file actions (like our DA's)?

Given that Holland sent special interviewers  ... that should have had access to everything to assist in preparing for "interviews"one has to wonder at this laste date WHAT's -UP ?

If I understand their system (I was told I didn't but, I digress) these suspects and witnesses are not required to cooperate in any of the interviews if they choose not to.  What makes anyone think they will cooperate with the Dutch?  Joran just stopped talking to the ALE, does anyone really think he will talk to any of the Dutch investigators?  I don't. All any of them need to do is just keep their mouths shut and refer all questions to their attorneys.

HEY JORAN - L@@K in your mirror for the killer.  If you were the last person to see her and she was killed, then, duh dude, it had to be you!  Were you in a fugue or have you conveniently compartmentalized that evening and distanced your self from it in your mind only.

FESS UP, boy, this crime will haunt you for the rest of your breathing days.  It will rip at your insides and never allow you a moment of peace or rest.  At least, direct us to her body, then God can deal with the rest of you.
