I tuned in to watch her introduce what the news of the day would be.

When she got to the Cruise baby pics I tuned to FOX news.

Any reviews of what I missed?

Joe Scarborough had a lot to say about it last night. lol

I kind of like her, but I agree about the Tom Cruise business.  That is the sort of thing a person expects on the entertainment news type programs, not on the nightly news.  She ain’t Cronkite, but I am willing to give her a chance to find her niche.

I thought that Katie herself did a fine job.

The problem was with the news content.....or should I say Lack of News Content.

I didn't watch it... but I have never liked Katie, she always irks me during the Thanksgiving Day Parade... because she is so sulkly about it....

I know that's probably a silly reason not to like her, but it is what it is...

I'm really not a fan of hers either....

And she won no brownie points with me when she held that plane up.

I heard the show got enormously high ratings.  And that's what it's all about, ain't it, folks?

Me, too Easy.

I've been following her career since she was 'local' news in Miami.

I'm not sure if this will be her forte -- but I'm willing to give her the chance to prove or disprove.

IMO -- she has certainly earned the respect to at least allow her to suceed or fail before she's judged. She has paid her professional dues.

I do admit, I was really pi$$ed with her involvement with Natalee. She didn't know enough to do a fair interview or report. Thankfully it was only that one time. Wish we could say the same about Chris Cuomo Evil or Very Mad

Yes, it did but I'm thinking part of the reason may be, because people tuned in to see her with all the hype.

I know I did....

Haven't watched it since...LOL

I have never seen her when I thought she was well informed.  I always thought she was just window dressing, a nice person to hang out with but somewhat shallow int he news department.  I never liked her involvement wit the married man and the way she allowed him to treat her, especially after all the money she spent on him.  I guess that confirms what I always thought about her, not a very bright bulb.
