Just saw a live interview with brother Lee on FOX.  He seems to claim he is doing his own investigation and will not give police information that he has found.  Isn't that obstruction??  I say jail them all.  One big loony bin.  Maybe I misunderstood, but I don't think so.

I just saw Lee's interview too.....the ding, ding, ding went off in my brain when I heard the "prob not going to convey everything to LE either.........

this whack-a-doodle family has way more info about what happened to Caylee...I have to believe LE knows this...they all should be persons of interest, IMO

The LE is going to have to make a decision and decide one way or the other what they want to do here, cause this case needs to be concluded.

choices -

one - bring the whole family in and separate them and question each of them independently under the threat of obstruction and tampering.

two - let them hang themselves on these news shows and hope for a slip up.

option two is too risky and the neighborhood may hang them before the LE can do anything if there is a slip up.

Maybe Granny should START looking for Caylee instead of giving interviews and cleaning house!

I can honestly see Lee doing his own investigation. I probably would too, just to satisfy my own need. What I don't understand is withholding findings. WTH??? Follow your leads, track things down but Holy Crap!,  give the information to the authorities who have far better resources and ability to follow through.

Do any of these people really want this child found??

If Lee really said this,and I am not discounting that he did, I firmly believe he should be arrested on obstructing justice and withholding potentially vital information on a federal investigation.

I'd GPS the bejeezers outta Lee's car.

If he has leads - let the LE see where they lead - even if it is surreptitiously.

I cannot wait to hear the spin the family puts on this stuff now. Seems like since the warrant was released, they haven't talked to anyone. I have no doubt there will be an excuse for Lee not visiting, too. Let's see...Casey was having her palms read at the time in an attempt to locate Caylee.

Apparently, Lee did not know ahead of time that Casey wouldn't see him. He arrived at the jail for the visit.

"What it is going to take (to find Caylee) is for more people to be looking and we don't feel that is happening," Baez said. "We feel that people have already written Casey off as having done something terrible and that is not the case. There is no evidence of that. There hasn't been any evidence presented of that. It is quite disturbing. But until you find this missing child, she is missing. We are getting very frustrated that no one is out there looking for her."

he's right - it hasn't been presented just yet... and I have a feeling he and his client are lucky it has not made it into the public through a leak.

In a way - we already know it's blood, because the LE back tracked after someone jumped the gun and also gave Casey and Baez a temporary reprieve.

The case is being built for negligent homicide, unless evidence appears that it is willful homicide.

Does anyone recall hearing how long Casey had the neighbor's shovel before returning it?

not off the top of my head... but I will keep looking for it.

I think the neighbor reported that Casey had the shovel for about 1 hour.

An hours not much time, IMO.  She probably is close, very close.  Since she backed the car up to the garage before she borrowed the shovel, I think they should excavate the entire back yard.  They loved Caylee too much put her in a place they couldn't moniter.
