I read the Arrest Document as Casey told Jessie that Caylee was with a babysitter and they as in "they-Caylee and the babysitter" went to the beach.  Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

No Kippy ,you are reading it right.She was asking Jesse if he wanted to get together with her since she was free for the weekend because Caylee was at the beach with the Nanny.

Personally I think Jesse did not intentionally "lie" when he first gave police his statement about hearing Caylee in the background of a phone conversation on July 24th.  At that moment that was his "immediate recollection".    I do think that it is possible that when he heard Casey reprimand Caylee (perhaps a set up) he "thought that he heard Caylee or assumed he heard Caylee" in the background.  I do believe that it is also possible after thinking the conversation through, he may have realized that he really did not actually "hear" Caylee .... that he based his first comment on assumption that Caylee was there or why would Casey be reprimanding her .... I do not think he lied ... I think he just spoke without "thinking" the conversation thru.  I think when he realized that he in fact did NOT hear Caylee, he contacted athorities.

I don't think he intentionally lied either. I believe he was mistaken and tried to correct it with the authorities.  I never meant to insinuate he was not being truthful to the best of his knowledge but he did provide a timeline for Caylee being accounted for right up until the 24th or 25th of June.  In reference to my previous post, he very well may be a great guy, dad and future husband.  My point was...we just don't know enough about him to make a determination.  This is the case of a missing child, its only fair to scrutinize every person, place, story of everyone involved.  Great guys with great families have done some pretty stupid things.  This case is full of convoluted lies.  In the weeks Casey has been incarcerated she has not been forthcoming with anything.  This little girl must be found.  Somewhere the truth is within the lies.

I didn't know that either, only that Jesse thought he might be Caylee's father for awhile and was devastated by the DNA results that showed him not to be.

It says to me... SHE (defendant - Casey) said Caylee was with the

nanny, and they ( Jesse & defendant Casey ) went to the beach.

Jessie says Casey is a habitual liar.

After learning of the incident, he immediately called to let people

know that what she was saying was a contradiction

as to what really happened. imo

So weird that Casey was laughing about the situation.  I noticed Geoge had told the detective, he and his wife believed that Casey was holding back info from them and that "they fear something may have happened to Caylee".  It does sound as if George smelled the trunk, and told or showed Cindy.  George and Cindy know.

It is also weird that Casey said she hadn't seen Caylee since June 9th, but her friend Christine was sure they all took a walk together between the 12 and 14th.
