sorry haven't read everything yet, but want to make a point before I forget - you know how I am  I'll remember in three days and it won't matter to the current conversation.

I *think* I can explain the missing SIM card now.

When Casey's phone was shut down due to lack of payment - she got herself a prepaid phone. As we all know - none of these kids today can go without a cell phone for calls and texting, yet when the parent calls the call is never answered even though the phone is right in their hands

Pre-paid cricket or similar phone - gets old SIM Card. No one remembers the phone numbers these days and the SIM card is very important. It's the most important part of the phone.

So - no Blackjack - that was another lie to explain how she was making calls. She knew long before anyone else, except Cindy, that the phone was shut off for an unpaid balance of $725 or $752 - I have seen both numbers posted. Regardless - it's a lot of money for a kid with no job. Casey needed to explain this before the LE discovered it.

The old SIM card does retain the old phone number - however there is a way to take the numbers and save them to the SIM card and transfer them directly to the new phone.

If Casey's phone was turned off July 9th (not sure if that is exact date) but she said she had the blackjack for a week or week ½. That could fit into July 9th-15th. Another thing....I knowthis because I have same phone carrier....if Casey's phone was on her mom's account, or any phone on same accout....all the phones on that account get turned off.....so did Granny know Casey didn't have a phone because hers was turned off too? If Casey was still taking her calls, then she knew Casey was using a different phone....

Granny insisted she talked to Casey every day, by text, voicemail, whatever.....so did she talk to Casey from July 9th-15th?

I have wanted to give this family the benefit of the doubt and I am still trying but gosh darn it!  It's getting hard to keep believing they don't know or aren't involved.  I want to have sympathy for the grandparents and know their hearts are breaking but you just can't continue to change your story every day.  It's either one way or the other....stick to a story for goodness sake!

I know how you feel Lala's...I hate to say this, but I'm going to do it anyway...I think Caylee died in that house on the 16th.  I really do...awful huh...I think her poor little body was stashed in the playhouse area for a short time....then moved to the trunk of the car....left there for quite some time...and then moved to her final resting place.

This whole family is in CYA mode...Casy is spending all her time in jail reading law books  ala Scott Peterson...and G-ma and G-pa are making pathetic lying fools of themselves on national tv...

That's about it from me right now...I'm holding sooooo much anger inside...I'm just plain ANGRY!!!

Another Visit With Casey Cancelled
Tuesday, August 12, 2008 10:21:58 AM

ORLANDO -- Another visit from Casey Anthony's family was cancelled Monday at the Orange County Jail, but this time, it was Casey's brother, Lee, who cancelled the scheduled visit.

Lee Anthony would have been the first family member to visit after Casey refused to see him Friday, and then cancelled a planned visit with her parents Sunday. See previous story.

No reason was given for the latest cancellation.

Casey has not spoken with any of her family since a search warrant revealed last week she lied about getting phone calls from the so-called babysitter who allegedly has Casey's missing 3-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Casey's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, have another scheduled visit with her Thursday.

Her parents spent Monday driving around Orlando, pulling a large traveling billboard behind their car in an effort to put Caylee's picture in front of more eyes. See previous story.

Lower Bond Request Denied Again
An appeals court has again denied a request to lower Casey Anthony's $500,000 bond.

For the second time, the Fifth District Court of Appeals Monday denied the motion to lower the bond.

Jose Baez, Casey's lawyer, argued the amount was too high for the felony child neglect charges Casey faces.

Baez vowed to take the case to the state Supreme Court.

Psychics Join Search
After getting e-mails about the search for Caylee Anthony, a team of psychics traveled to Central Florida to help look for the missing 3-year-old.

Gale St. John and her team said they began driving around areas near the Anthony family home over the weekend.

St. John said her team uses visions and their own cadaver dogs to help hunt down human remains.

While she did not want to get specific, St. John said there are things her group has seen when it comes to the search for Caylee.

"Flowers is one thing that we've seen, looked like it appeared to be wild flowers and, a grassy area," St. John said. "There was also a wooded area that was seen in the background -- a wooded area, so we're concerned with that, and looking for that and finding the very specific things that we saw."

Caylee's grandparents said they still believe the little girl is alive and well.

Deputies said they searched Monday near the Anthony family home after getting a tip about a suspicious smell. The search, however, turned up nothing.

Judge Again Denies Lowering $500G Bond for Missing Florida Toddler's Mom

Tuesday, August 12, 2008

A judge has again denied a request for lower bond for the imprisoned mother of a missing Orlando toddler, as the woman's brother canceled a scheduled jail visit Tuesday morning.

A motion filed by the lawyer for Casey Marie Anthony to reduce her $500,000 bond was denied for the second time in two weeks — and the third time overall. Attorney Jose Baez filed the latest petition late week in the 5th District Court of Appeals.

Anthony remains a person of interest in her 3-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony's disappearance almost two months ago. She has not been named a suspect but has been charged with child neglect and lying to police.

Meanwhile, Anthony's brother Lee Anthony canceled his scheduled 9 a.m. Tuesday visit with his sister in jail.

The family has been calling off recent planned meetings with 22-year-old Anthony because the conversations are recorded. Orange County police have in recent weeks released a string of taped talks among family members.

A team of psychic detectives is now assisting investigators in their search for Caylee.

The group, known as "Body Hunters" and lead by psychic detective Gale St. John, is "blind driving" around Central Florida in search for the toddler who was last seen June 16, Local6.com reported.

"We will not even look at street names," psychic detective Gale St. John told the TV station and its Web site on Monday. "We drive and go completely on feeling instinct, chasing down what we call a person signature."

Anthony refused a scheduled jailhouse visit with her parents Sunday, MyFOXOrlando.com reported.

A vigil for Caylee — who turned 3 over the weekend — was held Friday night.

Fox News has also confirmed that police are planning to use new technology to test air samples taken from the car of Caylee's mother.

A lab affiliated with the University of Tennessee will test the samples taken from the vehicle by working to identify compounds found in the air where decomposition occurs.

FOX NEWS ON THE SCENE: Click here to see photos from the search.

Click here for more on the case from FOX News' Greta Van Susteren.

The search warrant in the case was released last week, revealing that investigators have taken a long list of items from Casey's closet for DNA testing.

The warrant also shows that Anthony first reported to have last seen her daughter on June 9, but changed the date later to June 16 when a photo surfaced of Caylee with her grandfather on June 15, Father's Day.

And, according to the warrant, Anthony led police to three different locations where the baby sitter she claims has Caylee could be.

She told detectives that a woman named Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez had been Caylee's baby sitter for the past two years and told them where her apartment was. But when police went to the apartment she said belonged to the alleged baby sitter, they learned it had been vacant for almost five months.

Since then, police have spoke to a woman by that name, but that Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez did not recognize photos of Caylee or her mother. Police said that particular name is common and believe it could be a coincidence.

Detectives have told FOX News that they are looking into the possibility that Casey Anthony impersonated the baby sitter. She may have signed the sitter's name during a visit to an apartment complex and written in a visit date within the time frame of the child's disappearance.

Anthony is charged with a third-degree felony, child neglect, and one misdemeanor count of filing a false police report. She has submitted a not guilty plea in writing; her arraignment is Aug. 21.

Anthony gave birth to Caylee on Aug. 9, 2005, when she was 19. She declined to put the father's name on the birth certificate.

About a year later, the man believed to be Caylee's father died in a car crash and was buried out of state. Casey Anthony did not attend the funeral, Lee Anthony said. Family members said he never knew he was the father; the Anthony family says he did but didn't tell anyone else.

Anthony was a good mother, friends and family said. She's a high-school dropout who had sporadic jobs and lived with her little girl and her parents Cindy and George Anthony in the house where she grew up.

Officials at Florida's child welfare agency said they were never called about possible abuse or neglect in the Anthony home.

Lee Anthony said Casey left town with Caylee on June 16 for work and vacation. Almost five weeks later, on July 24, Cindy Anthony dialed 911.

"I found out my granddaughter has been taken, she has been missing for a month, we're talking about a 3-year-old little girl ... I need to find her," the frantic grandmother said. "I found my daughter's car today and it smells like there's a dead body in the damn car."

She said she hadn't seen the girl since mid-June. The dispatcher asked to speak to Casey Anthony, who told the operator she hadn't reported the disappearance because she'd been looking for the child on her own.

Other troubling details emerged: A neighbor told detectives Anthony had asked to borrow a shovel in June. Her father said she stole two gas cans from the garage. A boyfriend said she never told him in June that Caylee was missing.

Cadaver-sniffing dogs detected a scent in Casey's car, and hair, dirt and a strange stain were found in the trunk. Investigators are still awaiting FBI tests on evidence from the vehicle.

Detectives are amazed Casey has kept her composure under questioning, never crying or showing emotion.

"Her demeanor has been, for lack of a better word, nonchalant," says Deputy Chief Carlos Padilla. "She's shown no remorse, no concern."

Anthony, her family and her lawyer have maintained her innocence in Caylee's disappearance.

Missing Girl's Family Threatened Every Day; Mom Cancels Visits
Appeals Court Denies Bond Motion

POSTED: 6:54 am EDT August 12, 2008
UPDATED: 9:12 am EDT August 12, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The family of a missing Orlando girl continues to be threatened every day as a search for the child continues.

"We get threats every day," missing child's grandmother Cindy Anthony said. "We get threats on our home phone and we get threats on our cell phone."

Missing Caylee Anthony's mother, Casey, canceled another scheduled Orange County Jail visit with her brother on Tuesday.

Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, said his client wants to talk with her family but is sacrificing for her daughter.

"It's not something she wants," Anthony's attorney Jose Baez said. "She wants to see her family. She wants to talk to her family but she's willing to sacrifice that for Caylee."

Casey Anthony's father, George, was the last family member to see her last Sunday.

Wednesday will mark one month since Casey Anthony was jailed in connection with the case.

Caylee Called?

Meanwhile, the grandmother of missing Caylee Anthony said she believes the missing girl may have made a call after she vanished -- which would be new information in the case.

"I believe my mother also heard Caylee during that time," Cindy Anthony said.

When Cindy Anthony was asked how Caylee would know her great-grandmother's phone number, she said the number was programmed into Casey Anthony's phone.

A sheriff's department representative is checking to see if Cindy Anthony has ever mentioned the call before.

Expert Discusses Liars

Family and friends have described Casey Anthony as a pathological liar -- a person who they claim has told one lie after the next, Local 6 reported.

Dr. Richard Hall, who is a forensic psychiatrist with patients who are both in and out of jail, said habitual liars often lie to feel good about themselves.

"It shows that I'm smarter than you are and it shows that I have some power over you," Hall said. "And it shows that I've got some power over you and that I can manipulate you."

Hall said people who lie often never come forward to tell the truth.

"People who are habitual liars continue to lie in captivity just like they lie in the general public," Hall said. "So, they tend not to change and suddenly want to tell the truth and get everything."

Hall said he can't comment specifically about the Caylee Anthony case but said it could take some time as investigators search for the truth.

Bond Motion Denied

On Monday, an appeals court has denied a motion to lower the bond for Casey Anthony.

The 5th District Court of Appeal in Daytona Beach denied Casey Anthony's motion for a rehearing. The motion was sealed.

"I still think that to this day, the bond is excessive and tantamount to no bond at all," Baez said.

Casey Anthony is being held on $500,000 bond on charges of child neglect, making false statements and obstructing an investigation. Police said she lied to them and didn't report her daughter, Caylee, missing for more than a month.

Grandparents Visit Detectives

The grandparents of Caylee Anthony met with detectives on Monday for about two hours in a nonscheduled visit.

George and Cindy Anthony were at the Orange County Sheriff's Office from about 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in what they called an exchange of ideas.

Cindy Anthony said she talked with detectives about a phone call that Casey Anthony said she received in which she heard Caylee in the background. According to a search warrant, detectives said phone records show that the phone call never occurred.

"We discussed that with the deputies today. They're re-looking at the phone records because that's a misstatement," Cindy Anthony said.

Mobile Billboard

Also on Monday, George and Cindy Anthony were pulling a mobile billboard behind their vehicle showing information about Caylee.

"This is a very important day for me to be doing this," George Anthony said. "I'm not letting negativity come into play because negativity comes in and that's all people go on."

George Anthony said he did not know exactly where they would be driving.

"A 3-year-old girl's missing. I think people should look at that and say, 'My gosh, what can I do to help find her?'"

Lee Anthony, Casey Anthony's brother, is scheduled to visit her on Tuesday, and her parents are set to visit her on Thursday, although it is not known if Casey will allow the meetings. She has canceled the last two visits with her family.

Psychic-Led 'Blind Driving'

Meanwhile, a psychic detective and her team are "blind driving" around Central Florida searching for Caylee Anthony.

"We will not even look at street names," psychic detective Gale St. John said. "We drive and go completely on feeling instinct, chasing down what we call a person signature."

St. John and her team arrived in Central Florida and immediately began using specially trained cadaver dogs to check areas on foot over the weekend near Lee Vista Road.

St. John, who is part of a group that calls themselves the "Body Hunters," has been on "Larry King Live," Court TV and the Discovery Channel after helping authorities recover missing children and finding at least one body.

She said she has not received a feeling on Caylee's location but claims it is still early in her searching process.

The team will be driving around the region on Monday. Another psychic will be helping in the search as well, Local 6 reported.

Air Tested

Local 6 has learned that a lab affiliated with the University of Tennessee may be using a new type of technology to test air samples taken from the car of Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony.

Cadaver dogs led detectives to believe there were signs of decomposition in the trunk of Casey Anthony's vehicle and hit on two spots in the child's grandparents home early in the search for the missing girl.

The lab apparently testing the air samples, called The Body Farm, is run by the school's anthropology department.

A researcher at The Body Farm has developed an artificial nose of sorts that can sniff out evidence of human decomposition and decay.

It works by recognizing compounds found in the air where decomposition occurs.

Detectives won't confirm where the samples were transported to, but they said the air samples are being tested for decomposition.

A national search for Caylee continues.

Psychic Joins Search For Caylee Anthony, Doesn't Believe She's Alive

POSTED: 6:33 am EDT August 12, 2008
UPDATED: 10:17 am EDT August 12, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- It's been 28 days since now 3-year-old Caylee Anthony was reported missing and a psychic has joined the efforts to find her.

Gale St. John said she had a vision of a place in Orlando near a lake, surrounded by trees and wildflowers. That is where she believes Caylee Anthony can be found, but not alive.

"It's just a feeling that we have. We don't like to talk about it because it hurts us," Gale St. John said.

St. John was the star of a planned cable TV show, The Body Hunter, and now she has a team searching an area near Lake Conway with cadaver dogs. Gale said that she was not just doing it for TV, she was also asking for donations on her website.

Since the low budget show has not debuted yet, St. John said donations were the only way she could afford to travel.

"Geez, I wish I wasn't losing my house right now. So if I'm making a profit somehow, it's not doing me a lot of good," she said.

St. John has not promised anything, but said she had something to offer.

"Can we be wrong? Yes, but we're doing more than sitting around talking about someone missing," said St. John.

I hard "no proof" about who Caylee's father is - so why believe he died earlier this year - it's too convenient.

We know Casey is a major league liar.  She may not have even graduated from high school, but you gotta' admit that she's smart and savvy at lying!!

I believe her attorney told Casey not to give the police the opportunity to listen in to any of her conversations.

I believe the police have requested that the Anthony's to only give out certain bits of information.

At this point, I would say that we probably have only a fraction of the information that the police have and, of course, the Anthony's know a lot more about this.  They're just sharing enough each day to keep the media interested to keep Caylee's name out there.

You would think that if your daughter was being held by kidnappers and you were in jail, in the safety of jail with investigators, you would break down and cry out of fear for your missing child.

MARK FUHRMAN, FMR LAPD HOMICIDE DETECTIVE: Well, I can tell you this. When I sat with the brother, Lee, he said that they didn't have any phone records from July 8 forward, but he said that's not much of concern to them, to the family, because their concerned with the area between June 16 to about the 27th, when the car was left at the check-cashing facility parking lot. So they don't even have the records for that period, so I don't know how they can claim this. And the only records they have are the phone records from Casey Anthony's cell phone. They don't have any hard line records from where she was living or any other cell phone, so -- the records were cut off because her bill was not paid, which was to the tune of $724. So those records are now accessible even to Casey Anthony, only by search warrant.

VAN SUSTEREN: Are you able to -- do you have any information about the relationship that Casey might have -- because I know you've spoken to members of the family -- but the current situation between Casey and grandparents or her brother?

FUHRMAN: Well, I can tell you this. I think the brother is the closest to Casey, and maybe that might be because of age. But he seems to be the one that would be the best chance to of getting Casey to actually come clean with just exactly what she knows.

But I can tell you this. While I was still on the ground in Orlando, I talked to one of the immediate neighbors that is within earshot of the Anthony house, and he said that Casey Anthony had one hell of a temper. And he heard her swearing at her mother several times, so loud that he could hear it from his house, and that he would never talk to his parents that way. And he said even Father's Day weekend, that was going on. So whether that's true or not, it's something that he's observed and heard on repeated times. We'd never heard that before, and so that's interesting all unto itself.

VAN SUSTEREN: Did the parents or the grandparents -- did they say anything to corroborate that, or Lee, or anyone say anything that would tend to corroborate the neighbor's statement?

FUHRMAN: No. Exactly the opposite. In fact, I asked Cindy Anthony and George if there was a fight that they had with Casey that weekend or any time close to the time when she took Caylee and left, and they absolutely said not. And that seems to be, you know, a direct conflict with a neighbor who on that weekend said that there was, you know, an argument.

....like I said, any question answered by any Anthony with the word "absolutely" is a lie/crappola/squirrel poop"

Maybe, Casey did such a horrible thing that her mind just broke to let her deal with it.  My Mom's mind broke last year.  It was the saddest thing.  She would call me over and over and tell me the most awful things.  The last time she called me and said she was at work and she got locked in the store. She said there was a bed there she could sleep in but she wanted me to come get her.  (She was in the hospital)  I said ok, and called her nurse.  Then she called me back and said she would be waiting at the door for me, and she had the flowers I sent her.  She said dont get upset, that she was wearing a short nightgown.  I had to put her in a nursing home.  It was probably the hardest thing Ive ever done.
