Some thoughts and questions.
Would Casey, as an unemployed single parent Mother, be able to apply for welfare in Flda?
Though unusual, I think it is possible that a single parent Mother (possibly with the encouragement of her family) might trade child support to avoid custody issues in the future.  Particularly when Casey had a rent free roof over her head and parents that gave some financial support.
The vehicle that was abandoned near the check cashing shop.  Is it possible Casey went into that shop to cash a forged check?
Did Casey cash Amy's forged check at a bank?
The intended use of the borrowed shovel from the neighbor is really bugging me - are there other uses other than the ones discussed, (prying open the shed lock or digging)???
I am very drawn to Carpe's scenario using Furhman's time line re call data from the 16th June - Carpe, would you mind bringing that forward? ty

Right! I certainly don't toss out the drowning theory altogether.

...but if you check out that Fuhrman timeline from Greta the other night.

It tightens it up so much... (great job, Mark!)

the chances of drowning to me, are looking

slimmer and slimmer.

JUNE 16th, 2008

george sees casey and caylee leave at 12:50 pm.

cindy is already at work at this time.

george leaves at approx. 2:30 pm.

3pm flurry of phone activity starts

from casey's phone.

6 calls in a row - just a min or two apart.

trying to get a hold of dad first.

6 calls in a row to her mother.

and to two other individuals.

4pm the activity ceases for about two hours.

and then several other phone calls to the mother, the father,

and the other individuals right @ about 6pm and also 7:30pm

Then no other calls until the next day.

June 17th, 2008

No info at this time.

June 18th, 2008

Casey Anthony approaches neighbor out in yard

and borrows a shovel. The neighbor notices the

strange activity of her backing her car in...

something she does not do.

Flurry of phone calls. Short reaching out phone calls.

These activities happened sometime in the afternoon.

---

She may have just seen the neighbor using the shovel and borrowed it to

stand it in the corner for 59 minutes to create doubt as to which shovel

was actually used.

Maybe when she broke into the shed... she did it with whatever she normally uses...

I hear that ho bag was REALLY GOOD AT IT. So, it probably didn't take very long

or do a lot of cosmetic damage?

If in fact something happened on the 16th, it was raining that day. I think that would rule out the pool. It would also limit how Casey disposed of Caylee. I don't think she'd be digging in a storm or a downpour.

Rob I agree also, I can't wrap my head around an accident than feeling the need to hide a body and dispose of it, makes no sense under any circumstances for me.

I've had one thought cross my mind...maybe Casy put Caylee in the backseat of car...not carseat...ran back in house to get something...Caylee got out of car...was behind it when Casey ran back to car...jumped in and ran over Caylee...she panicked...threw Caylee in trunk and took off.....just a thought...
Destiny, I think this too could be possible.  But again, it would be an accident requiring a 911 call.  Unless a parent is under the influence of drugs or alcohol making them unfit to safely care for a child - an accident
would not normally include charges of any kind.

We don't have a list of what was taken initially. All we have is what was on the search warrant

Is anybody watching foxnews?  They just said they are working on the theory that something happened in the pool on the 16th after the GP's left for work. It would make sense to me.  Something happened that day.

I think Casey forgot the baby was in the pool maybe one of her many boyfriends called and she just lost track of time, and forgot her.

If the stain in the trunk is blood - does anyone know the the size of the stain?
If an attempt to resusitate a drowning victim is made - resulting in injury - could that case blood seepage?  Mrskub or anyone else, would you know?

if my daughter had just accidently drown, first i would try bringing her back to life, 2nd i would call 911, and 3rd, i would probably lay down and die from grief.

I'm still looking at Mr Chatt and find that his friend Michael worked at Universal.

http://hotflick.net/videos/Michael_Orlando/

I'm pretty sure this is his full name

Mike Wiederecht

Possibly the Mike she wanted Tonys number for when she was first arrested?

I can't find any that aren't bleeped out but when I first listened to the original phone call I heard Pat say "a friend of Mike Wallace" someone else thought they heard Mike Walker. Whoever he is he's mostlikely related to Tony in some way. Thought Casey did have a classmate named Michael Walker. And I haven't found where Pat went to school with casey though that's how he presents himself to her.
Welcome to all the new Monkeys!
Yes,Did you happen to see how incognito Patrick was at first?Hat pulled down, sunglasses on.Casey said she didn't know him, couldn't see his face,Patrick lifted his hat and lowered his sunglasses(and said"I'm a friend of Mike Wallace") and all of a sudden Casey.....changed...got all serious looking and wide eyed.I know I am not imagining this.
Patrick was sent there BY Mike Wallace.....for some reason.

Seems that way but the only Mike I could find a connection with was Walker. But I agree to me it sounded like wallace. I did find a Mike Wallace that goes to UCF he's a football player that now plays for the Jags. (If I remember that correctly, all my notes are on my other computer). Being that he's a big hotshot football player and they like to club.. Could that be the connection to Tony?

I haven't seen the size of the stain mentioned anywhere.

Proper CPR should not cause any bloody discharge. With that being said, I don't know that Casey was trained in CPR. An untrained person could possibly cause damage that would result in blood loss I suppose. It's a longshot though.

I think the baby died in the pool then  flurry of calls started .Casey took baby around with her for awhile, in the back seat of the car and thought of what to do next. Then called  her ex boyfriend the cop helped her put the baby to rest and then he quit the force .

Hi April Glad you're here!

If you'd like an avatar, I'd be glad to find you something if you could give me an idea what to look for!

Something Springtime, for "April", maybe?

I'm back reading, so if you should want it, here it is:

Thanks Mrskub.  Both parents would be trained in CPR, wonder if that's why Casey tried to reach them (16 June) to have them talk her through it?

I agree Carpe.  I think she kept the body in the car for awhile before disposal, than ditched the car exactly as you say.

and Carpe's theory also explains why she acted as she did - only when the body was found would she all of a sudden realize that her daughter was missing - hence she left the daughter with someone and that person is responsible.

Casey just acts normal until the news hits her - and it's Academy Award time.

When the pictures surfaced before the body - she was caught.

right on, brotha!  that is the ticket.

i think she was just going on with business

as usual... until the news hit. it still wouldn't have

worked for her,
but in her warped mind... everything

was going to work out just fine.
You guys got her MO right

From the arrest warrent
"She walked with purpose and acted like she knew where she was going. Halfway down this hall, she stopped, turned and told she hadn't told us the truth and she was not a current employee."

Imagine acting "normal" and calm like this when walking 2-3 cops to your office at your made up job!
