Thanks for the shovel info.  I am assuming the neighbor did not see Caylee with her that day.  So why would Casey spend an hour digging up bamboo?  Out of the goodness of her heart?  I don't think so.  But one hour is not long enough for her to dig a grave, unless it was a really shallow one.  It is not long enough for her to take the body somewhere, dig a grave and bury it and come back and return the shovel, unless it was really close to the house and the earth was very soft.  The shovel is a mystery to me because she did not have it long enough to do much with it.

What if....

Whatever happened to Caylee did happen in the Anthony back yard, maybe Caylee drowned in the pool.  Was Casey trying to REMOVE dirt thus possible evidence that a body had been there.

Or maybe she was hiding something else....hmmm what else could she have buried..?

Mark Fuhrman says the Flurry of Phone Calls indicates some sort of panic, meltdown or crisis in which Casey was desperately seeking help or advice and not getting it.  I just wonder where she was when she was doing all that calling.  Was she in the car, riding around, or alone with Caylee at a friend's house or where?  I am sure the police know when she was staying with which friend or boyfriend.  But we don't and that makes it hard to sort this out.

Maybe when she started digging, she realized how difficult it was and after an hour gave up that idea and returned the shovel.

or Caylee is in a shallow grave and recoverable - that's my hope.

CASEY'S CELL PHONE CALL LOG

June 16th was Father's Day correct? When Cindy took Caylee to nursing home to see great grandpa? No..wait...cofused again!! lol 16th was that Monday? Casey leaves at 12:50..Dad leaves 1:30ish..Casey comes back to the house and starts calling about 4ish.

So was the neurotic calling normal for her? She did the same thing on the 18th correct?

then why all the calls again on the 18th. She is a spoiled brat...maybe she just wants them to answer her calls at her own beck and call?

If an accident happened on the 16th in the back yard...no way in hell is she going to bring back Caylee's body on the 18th to bury her...just doesn't make sense at all to me.

No way she buried Caylee there for 2 days and recovered her on the 18th either. Not much dirt that I can see in the yard...seems like most is landscaping and they have a dog...dog would have found Caylee...wow that sounds terrible...but dog would have been alerted to Caylee buried in the backyard.

CASEY'S CELL PHONE CALL LOG

Thanks Carpe!

I added this to the TIMELINE thread for lack of a better place.  Didn't want to lose it.

One would think Casey would know her parents work schedule & thus the calls to cell phones, work, etc.  Calls to home would be a last ditch effort....

Hi Monkey friends! As most of you know, I am the silent Monkey, I don't post often because I still only have dial up way out here in the boonies, and posting takes FOREVER!
After hurting for Natalee and her family for so long I promised myself I wasn't going to get so deep into another case again, but when I saw this beautiful baby's face that was it for me..I was hooked...again. This case is so sad that there just aren't any words to describe it.
I just wanted to say hi to all the Monkeys, and let you know that I am here in the background, supporting you all and praying for a miracle.

I still think that was the last straw for Casey.  She made a mistake, she let the baby get hurt/die then she called the people she had depended on her whole life, they wernt there for her, she just shut down.
