To Rob's earlier question - who has the most to lose?
All of them do.  Sounds like Cindy was the major breadwinner.  Geo. seemed to work sporadically, though maybe he had a retirement pension from the police force?

Casey has the most to lose - since she has been supported, housed and fed
by her parents all her life.  Caylee was provided for too.  Casey has never learned a speck of responsibility in her 22 years.  Not to mention that a lovely little girl is missing.

Other than herself, do you think Casey is protecting anyone? If so, who?

Is there a reason why Casey would "snap" on "Father's Day"?

How could the Anthony's forget a blow out on Father's Day....their original missing date was June 9th.

Was it intentional?

*SPECULATION ALERT*

Well Seeme...If my daughter were also my half-sister...Father's Day would be pretty weird for me...

to add to my above answer - the only reason Casey would protect a non family member is if they could incriminate her.

If Casey didn't move the body til the 24th or after she would have had to put it somewhere she felt very comfortable that no one would find (or smell) it.

Sam
All good points....refresh my memory on this Jeff Hopkins...please. TIA

Lala's, Jeff Hopkins worked at Universal. According to Cindy at the bond hearing, Zanny was Jeff's girlfriend and she watched his child(ren). He introduced Casey to her.

Thank you.  I knew it was a sitter connection.  I have skipped some things but don't know why I forgot that one.  Now, another question...did Jeff say Zanny did indeed baby sit for Casey or is that a moot point too?

Here's my take - Casey wanted to party, wanted to move in with Amy, had always been neglectful, but on this one day, she was so neglectful, Cayee got killed, not murdered.  The gas was just gas for the car, the shovel just a means to get into the storage building, the car was backed up in the driveway because Casey was tiny, its hard to carry bulky gas cans.  And  the kidnap story was the only thing she could come up with for the reason her child was gone.

Yes, as I don't she how Casey could be so heartless & cold if she knew Caylee was dead.

I think Caylee has been removed from her GP's grasp and that is why Casey is smirking.

I know, I know, wishful thinking. But prove me wrong, and only then will I give up hope for Caylee.

DETAILS EMERGE ABOUT CASEY ANTHONY'S CALLS

Eyewitness News learned Wednesday there's a more detailed record of some of Casey Anthony's calls made before Caylee was reported missing. The leaked phone records show that on Monday, June 16 Casey Anthony called her parents six times in just over an hour. The records show exactly whom she called and what time the calls were made.

According to the leaked records, Casey made six calls to her parents on the afternoon of June 16, with the first call at 3:03pm to her father's cell phone and the last of the six made to her mom's cell phone at 4:24. During that time she also tried her mother at work and called her ex-fiancé, Jesse Grund.

The next day, June 17, neighbors told investigators that Casey borrowed a shovel from them. Then, on June 18, there was another spike in calls to her parents, six in 45 minutes during the early part of the afternoon. According to the leaked records, three calls were made to her parent's home phone, two to her mom's cell phone and one to her dad's cell phone, all between 12:33pm and 1:11pm.

I will go back to this again...why didn't work tell Cindy about the calls?  Did Casey just dial and hang up?  She could say I tried to call you, but you didn't answer?  Does Cindy's work not have a centralized phone service that takes calls?  Sam with George.  Was this a ruse to show she tried to get help when something went wrong or was she just trying to irritate her parents further?  I must be missing something here because I still do not think the calls are anything important other than an attention-getting scenario.  MOO

I am inclined to go with this also.  I think this chick has already been given waaaay to much credit.  I hardly think she is the sharpest tool in the shed.

If you mean Mark Furman the former LAPD detective from the the OJ trial...he is accustomed to be on camera. He has a radio talk show too.   What makes you say this? Did he do something strange?
