What day was it last week that the lead detective of the Sex Crimes division visited Cindy at home when George was out?  He was there for 45 minutes...and they said it was a "visit."  Very, very unusual visit.

And, didn't Cindy attend at least one meeting with LE without George last week?  A briefing, I believe.  When she left, they brought a car around the back for her and a sheriff's deputy gave her a hug.  Remember?  George wasn't there.

I don't remember the day but it did happen and it was very odd.

ok...thats it!!! WHERE IS KLAAS!!!  lol
Did you leave us to play games again??!! or is it dinner time in Sunny CA?

3 things I would like your thoughts on Klaas.

1) vacation...did anyone take one or is that just what Casey told her Mom she was doing...thus the shock at finding the car in the impound lot.  I'M NOT CLEAR ON THE VACATION ISSUE - I DON'T THINK IT'S PROVEN THAT ANYONE TOOK A VACATION

2) Am I making sense about the Anthony's dog finding Caylee...or digging up any place she had been...if she had been buried for any amount of time in the back yard?  YES - I AGREE THAT THE ANTHONY'S DOG SHOULD HAVE BEEN DIGGING A SPOT IF A BODY HAD BEEN BURIED THERE.  I REALLY DON'T THINK A BODY WAS BURIED IN THE BACK YARD.  BODILY FLUIDS FROM A DEAD BODY COULD HAVE BEEN ON THE GROUND AND/OR CAR THOUGH.

3) Tell me your thoughts on why you feel the 16th was the day something happened to Caylee.  WE KNOW FROM THE NURSING HOME RECORDS THAT CAYLEE WAS THERE ON THE 15TH.  IF WE BELIEVE GEORGE, HE SAW CASEY AND CAYLEE AT 12:50PM ON THE 16TH.  NOBODY SEE'S CAYLEE AFTER THE 16TH.  FLURRY OF CALLS ON THE 16TH.  Those are the main reasons.
Taking a quick break and then can I share some thoughts assuming the guy posting yesterday is really Cindy's brother?

My answers in RED above

thanks Klaas!!

grabbing one more smoke and then jumping in again.

But can we all agree that Clint says Casey stayed the night Sunday w/out Caylee..he seemed credible...no reason to lie...so at some point Casey had to go home and pick up Caylee the next day from the Anthony home?

I hate talking about this...I really do..but these have been my thoughts:

We were told there was a spot in the car described as "fluids" and I correct?

We were also told the car smell like "decomp"

So I just keep thinking...if Caylee passed the 16th...no way do I believe she buried Caylee in the back yard..
1) dog would have found her

2) Anthony's would have noticed yard dug up...not much yard to dig up!!

3) She would have gotten Caylee as far from home as possible.

So if something happened to Caylee on the 16th...most likely place Caylee would have been placed is the trunk until Casey could figure out what to do.

So what fluids could have been deposited...and I only know this from CSI...this is so awful!!! But to smell decomp...would there not have been the breakdown of tissue etc..to leave a fluid that would cause the smell of decomp"

So I would assume...if Caylee passed on the 16th...casey would NOT drive around with her in the trunk for a day or two...she would have found a place to bury her pretty quick.

And even if she did leave her in the car for a day or two...would that be enough time to have left tissue etc in the car that would cause the stain or smell?

If Caylee passed on the 16th by drowning...Casey takes her out of the pool...frantically calls family...can't get ahold of them...puts her in the trunk and buries her...what fluid or tissue would have been deposited...I can't think of any?

If she had passed from being left in the car...again...what "fluid" would be left to leave the smell of decomp? I hate this!!! But even if it were urine or feces left...I would think it would be a totally different smell than decomp.

Finally...if Casey was confronted with stealing Grandma's money Sunday...and she decides.."I am out of here"...would she go home and take a casual swim after a big blow up...or go back home...wait for George to leave...sneak back in and grab $$ and clothes and get out of there!!??

If she left Caylee in the car that day...and maybe Blue can back me on this...at Caylees age...my Monkey could unhook his child's seat and be out the door lickity split!! It appears Caylee was highly intelligent...great climber due to all the precautions Cindy took. I just can't see her NOT getting out of a locked car!!!

And for the cynics...if she were drugged...and left in the car...again...what are the fluids found in the trunk?

This was so hard for me to write.

I feel like something big went down around the time of that meeting that Cindy attended by herself.  They told her something that she did not want to hear.  I'm wondering whether it had to do with Casey or George, or even both.

OT because it is a little slow,  How did you quit klaas?

I got the flu and was having breathing problems.  I was really bad but kept thinking I'd be better by the next day.  Well, at about 3am I called 911 because I couldn't breath.  That was May 1, 2008.  Was in the hospital for 5 days.  Respiratory failure.

Figured after being forced not to smoke in the hospital for 5 days it was a good start.  I have always said if I could go for one full day I could quit, LOL.  So actually April 30, 2008 was when I had my last cig.  I was on the patch for a couple months after.  My husband took the opportunity to also quit but he quit cold turkey.  No patches or anything.

Ouch, so sorry you had to go thru that, but congrats on quitting!  I've tried chantix and wellbutron, I guess patches will be next.  I'm really proud of you, thats great!

George and Casey have a very strange relationship.  Casey said on her Myspace page that she needed to be drunk to spend an entire day with Dad.  I think there is more going on here than LE are letting on.  George never saw Casey and Caylee leave the house on the 16th--way too much detail and a sefl-effacing smile and self-conscious attitude when telling that story.  So, Cindy went to work, Casey was at Tony's and George was alone in the house with Caylee.  What happened?

Ok, maybe Casey came home, she back into the driveway, she went over to the neighbors, borrowed the shovel, George comes out, sees the car backed in, sees her face, sees the shovel, knows he hasnt seen Caylee.  He thinks like a cop, demands to see in the trunk, he opens it, Caylee is there and then the rest of my story.  He makes up something to go with each question that could ever come up.

There's probably enough time but I think it's simpler than this, IMO.

I think it's as simple as Casey leaving Caylee in the car and Caylee dying.  Casey freaks out and disposed of the body and makes up stories.  Casey has been lying for years, lying comes easy to her.

George and Cindy don't want to allow themselves to believe Caylee is dead.  It's safer for them to believe the kidnapped story.

I am going along with this theory....

I don't think Cindy and George are bad people, I just think Casey ruled the roost.  She walked all over them and continues to do so.  They loved Caylee and want more than anything to believe Caylee is still alive.

coming up...my thoughts on the 16th..lol...just need another cig to collect my thoughts.

Gosh Klaas...hope I am not making you want one...I will quit talking about the cig now!!

I'm actually really doing well in that respect.  Even when we went to the casino last week, didn't bother me at all.

you have DEFINATELY quit...if you can go to a casino and not smoke...you have arrived Girlfriend!! I am so damned proud of you!!!

I don't know how long it would take in Florida for a body to start to break down.  If they found fluid and it smelled like a dead body, it makes me believe there WAS a dead body in the trunk for longer than a few hours tho.  JMO  I know if I were casey and had a big blowout with my parents I surely would not even sneak back to their house the next day to go swimming.  I just don't see this being the case of a swimming accident.  It  very well could have been that tho.  I don't know what I think anymore.  My thinker is thunk out!

I'm off to bed, school starts Monday and I go back tomorrow.  My how summer flew by.

ldstlou - I don't know enough about decomposition to honestly answer your questions.  I believe that the human body secrets gases and fluids very early in decomposition though.

I'll look it up.

Lisa, I could be totally wrong about this, but I thought I heard Dr. Baden say it started in a couple of hours.... might be wrong tho....

I'm not one to ask about a dog, I have a chihuahua. LOL

I think a dog would dig if something was buried there, yes.  I'm not sure if a body just laid there for a short about of time if a housedog would react.  IF she were buried in the yard, I don't think it was for more than 24-48 hours.  And for Casey to pull that off on her own would be a pretty bold move, even for her. If George knew, it would be more possible to pull that off.  It would be pretty easy to keep Cindy and the dogs away for a short period of time.

Our dogs must be weird...lol

Did I mention the bulbs that I plant every fall that get dug up??!!! lol

Anytime my Lizzie smells dirt turned over..she is there digging.

My NEIGHBOR planted flowers along the fence that divides are yard...Lizzie smelled something new..and literally tunneled a hole between our yards under the fence. First time I ever heard my neighbor cuss!!! lol

Had to bake him cookies that night so he wouldn't stay mad at Lizzie!!! lol

She did it again the NEXT DAY!!! So we had to put bricks against the fence.

No matter how long something had been buried...the Anthony's dog would have been all over it..imo

Decomposition begins as soon as you die. The process is called autolysis and it begins as the dead body begins to cool off. In general, a corpse lying out in the open and exposed to high temperatures and humidity can become completely skeletonized in as few as 10 days to a month, at the most. Areas of the body which have sustained injury or trauma decompose much more rapidly than those which are not injured.
