To think that Caylee's last meaningful hug and tenderness came from her Great Grandpa just breaks my heart.
and Caylee had dinner with her Great Grandma.  May she take some small comfort from that as time goes on.

I'll tell ya....it friggin ticks me off that they came right out of the gate and said they will offer limited immunity if she admits it was an "ACCIDENT" ..... to me that gives her the option to concoct another story!  Body may be to far gone to find the real cause of death that she may get off with manslaughter instead of murder 1.

Fellow inmates will have their way with her.  You can murder, rob, steal, and beat up a grannie and that is ok.  Inmates do not like child molesters, child porn or child killers.  You don't mess with a kid.  It is like an oath.  She will get what's coming to her.

I feel like I can't breathe...the confirmation of what many of us already know is just awful.

I definintely want to see Casey fry, but I am for partial immunity if it means that Caylee can have a proper burial or cremation and the respect and dignity she deserves.

Pass me a Kleenex monkeys....it is a dark day.

Here you go sweetgypsy...I am running out of tissues and dog is at my feet wondering why I am hurting.

I don't know jack about this case -- but, on the outside looking in, I would guess that someone in this case has tipped off LE that maybe an "accident" occurred. LE now has the hard evidence of "decomposition". They are just now confronting Casey with BOTH of these developments. If it IS murder -- no immunity.

Hi Wreck - I think accident was always #1 on the list for LE.  Many have felt that Caylee died in the pool or a hot car and Casey has covered it up.  Accidental death due to neglect.

I would like to believe that Caylee's death was accidental ... an act of neglect.  However ... unless this young woman is completely void of a conscience ... I cannot comprehend how she could be partying it up and ... not grieving for her daughter ... not racked with guilt.

Somehow the pieces of the puzzle do not fit when an accidental death is considered.

Tests Confirm Evidence Of Decomposition In Casey Anthony's Car

POSTED: 4:21 pm EDT August 27, 2008
UPDATED: 5:37 pm EDT August 27, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Tests have confirmed the stench in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car did come from a human body. Casey was offered limited immunity if she'd help detectives find her missing daughter, but they said the deal expires Thursday.

The State Attorney's Office also confirmed on Wednesday that Casey Anthony was invited to their office to shed light on the disappearance of Caylee. The State Attorney's Office is not revealing details about the offer of limited immunity.

Investigators from the sheriff's office and the FBI met with Casey Anthony on Wednesday afternoon at her attorney's office. Cindy Anthony was also there. Casey only met with investigators for about 10 minutes and said nothing when she departed. Cindy Anthony left later in the afternoon, followed by the investigators, who were planning to go to the Anthony's home.

Preliminary results were back from FBI tests on physical evidence found in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car. The samples, which included hair believed by investigators to be Caylee's, a stain and dirt, came back positive for signs of decomposition.

It was Caylee's grandmother Cindy who first expressed concern about the disgusting stench that came from the trunk of Casey's car. It came during a 911 call when she reported Caylee was missing.

"It smells like there was a dead body in the damn car," Cindy told the dispatcher.

Cindy Anthony went on to change her story and say rotting pizza was behind the smell.

Eyewitness News was working to obtain more details on this major development.

Leonard’s 5 PM interview with Fox Orlando:

Says her story to her family changed and instead of giving Caylee to Zenaida at Sawgrass, Zenaida and "Sam" took Caylee away from her at Jay Blanchard park. Zenaida gave her a 30-day script that she was to follow.

Where did "Sam" come from now? This is freakin' unbelievable!!!

you know, we have some very very bright people here, but there is one thing that I think we overlooked.

and I think this is the entire key - now check this

when Casey returned home and was allegedly confronted by George in the gas can thief (remember this is from George)

there is the high probability that Casey was about to torch the car with the body Caylee in it.

there has always been something missing in the gas can story - and there is a body missing - when you add them together, there aren't a whole lot of things that a small amount of gas could be used for.

it can not be used to completely destroy a body, it can hide evidence through emulation and can removed DNA such as trace forensics.

but it can not completely destroy a body.

I think the gas was to torch the car with the deceased body of Caylee inside.

something must have prevented this from happening.

AH, now that's a thought.  I could see Casey torching the entire car with Caylee's body in the trunk.  The question is what would have stopped her?  Did an easier disposal come up first or did she chicken out?

Or did she realize that she still needed the car (it wasn't smelling yet?) and disposed of the body some other way?  IF the George story is true, then Caylee's body wasn't in the car, OR Casey had just come from showering at Jesse's, after disposing of the body, OR George didn't see the body (all he says is that the gas cans were there; he doesn't say that he moved anything around). She was going to sneak the gas cans back in. I think we give her too much credit, in some ways. She might have thought that little bit of gas would work to destroy the body. Never thought about torching the car...she needed it. Didn't realized it was going to smell.

Wouldn't have Jesse smelled the stench on Casey when she asked to shower?  I am sure that in police training they get to know what a dead body smells like.  If her grey striped pants were in the trunk...what did she change into after the shower?

Good questions. I've tried not to suppose too much about Jesse, mostly because I liked the way his dad came out fighting for him. But, I've said that I believe that Jesse will always be Casey's sucker. He knows what a liar she is; the paternity tests should have ended his involvement with her, but she still has him wrapped around her little (I was going to say finger, but you fill in the blank).

I don't know what is truth in anyone's statements. She may have taken showers at his house twice a week, for all I know. On the other hand, Jesse did try to give Casey an alibi of sorts with the "heard Caylee in the back ground" (later recanted), and this may be another attempt to give her an alibi. The news report that stated Cindy and George were not surprised that Jesse had come out with the statement (of hearing Caylee after the date that she supposedly disappeared) "because he is a friend" always sounded to me as if they were discounting Jesse. Almost as if they were saying that they stuck by their dates and Jesse was just making this up "because he is a friend".

Casey may or may not have showered at his house.
Casey may or may not have had any decomposition smells on her when she went for the shower.
Jesse may or may not have seen/smelled her when she arrived.

I think he is trying to help her, but doesn't know how. As far as what she changed into after the shower, wouldn't Casey have had her overnight bag(s) with her? I think she was living out of the car some of the time she was gone.

I don't mind.  They want to find Caylee's body.  Once her body is found they will most likely be able to tell if she died from an accident.

Accident or not she needs max sentence for all the lies and circus to try and get out of this.

I sure don't pretend to know what God has in store for the rest of Beth's life, but I know what ever it was it all became clear on 5-30-2005.

I feel the best chance to find Caylee is for Beth to speak privately with Cindy and then alone with George.

Not together and not with Tim. (not to shut out Tim, cause few people respect him more than I), I just think Beth is better able to get what is needed from these people.

I don't think for one second Casey will cop a plea and Baez has the high cards in his hand until there is a body.

Beth, in my opinion, is the best chance to end this nightmare.

I'm devasted  too
but I Finaly agree, I just didn't want it to go this way, but after reading 400 pages I knew from that sick feeling in my heart.
