I seem to recall that they said they would be having a Sunday night vigil.

...and of course the press will be all over that.

Family members don't usually take part in the actual search.

OH>>>BEG TO DIFFER BIG TIME>>>with no disrespect.

I, my family, my friends, my co-workers where all out when my 14 y/o was missing........Family, friends, co-workers....we were all out and totally ballistic.  Out in neighborhoods we could have been killed in.  Media coverage was nothing compared to Cindy.

Never under estimate what a parent would do to find a child.  This family member was the ring leader in the search.

Families do not do searches if they think family is guilty......THERE IS A DIFFERENCE !

Families not guilty are totally nuts and do searches and put own life on line to find child....Been there and have done that.

Please do not say that unless you have been thru it and lived it.

Caring families are very active in search and put own life on line.  That is not a fair statement unless you have been thru it.

You know this whole time I have been wondering something. In EVERY other missing child case, the media has shown the parents of the loved one out beating on doors, searching the woods, etc... I haven't even seen anyone pulling that billboard around lately.

Knay did you find your child

I've not had a missing child. Sorry I'm confused
I was just saying the lengths I would go to find a missing child. Don't mean to cause ANY problems - will just hang out on my vine and listen for awhile.

No...come back.  I misunderstood.  I thought you were quoting Cindy. My comments were towards Cindy and George actions...not anyone on this list.

Email is tough especially when we are sleep deprived, multi-tasking and trying to get thru 100 posts a day.  I am so sorry if anyone took offense.  I was just reacting to how Cindy and George are reacting....not anyone on list.

I deserve a whipping with a vine....sorry monkeys if anyone thought I was attacking them...not at all.  Attacking George and Cindy's actions.

Can I offer a banana for forgiveness?

It was me, Green Nurse, missing child, not Knay.  And yes we found her after a month and got the scum behind bars and on Megan's list.

Does anyone know what time the car was picked up?And was it George alone picking up car?
Anyone know the time of the first 911 call?(ok,I can find that myself)
Does anyone know exactly when the tow co. sent out the registered letter stating they towed the car?

[/quote]

Hey Karma,  my recollection is that Cindy and George both went to the impound lot early in the morning.  Cindy raised a rukus (surprise me) over the price and wanted a discount.  So Sorry, no discount.  Impound would not take check or cc only cash.  They left and George came back with cash.  Release time on the paperwork was 13.55.  Don't remember for certain about your other questions.

I'm trying to cut down the qoute stack so I hope I did this correctly.Smile
Thanks AZGrama.
I would like to see a timeline of July 15th and when the tow company sent out the registered letter to the Anthony's.
I have this so far:
1:55 pm....George finally get's the car released.
2:30 pm....Casey picks Amy up at airport.
7:00 pm....Cindy finds Casey,picks her up from Tony's.
8:08 pm....Cindy makes 1st 911 call.
9:41 pm....Cindy makes 3rd(distressed)911 call.
So this sounds like both Cindy and George were in the car and knew exactly what it smelled like before they even found Casey.

Then why doesn't the LE just go with that and go ahead and charge her with the death of her child????

For one thing it's probable that LE along with Prosecutor attempt to confirm the data, they attempt to contact expert witnesses on the subject (which also can benefit decreasing the pool available to the defense of talent being misused, haven't we seen high profile use Lee & Biden to free the guilty).  Think that they try to gather co-operation, cross the t's dot the i's & not rush to judgement.

This KC broad has been treated decently by LE, so has her undeserving family.  They KNOW, they imo are going through taking their jobs to be jury tainting & spin as I believe was most probably suggested by JB.  How many times have we seen these types of strategies as it only takes one incompetent juror to create a mistrial.

if she doesn't accept the limited immunity by Tuesday @ 11:59 pm - Wednesday will probably see murder charges.

this is coming to a head here and the State's Attorney has drawn a deadline.

G.Nurse, you have probably seen babies die.  Don't you think it's strange how different they look as opposed to adults????  That's why I think it would be so hard to "dispose" of Caylee.

Totally agree 1.  There is a big difference.

Investigators Confirm Caylee Anthony Is Dead

POSTED: 7:53 pm EDT August 29, 2008
UPDATED: 6:28 pm EDT August 31, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Today Sgt. John Allen with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed what Channel 9 has been reporting since Wednesday. There was a dead body in the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car, and that body was Caylee.

Someone should let George in on this info...he was insisting yesterday that it was NOT his granddaughter's dead body in the trunk.....

Logic dictated all along that the body of Casey had been in that trunk.  However ... the confirmation is difficult to accept.

Janet

Do you know if they got the conclusion that Caylee's body was in the trunk for the hair they found in the trunk?

Maybe that horrible smell is what prompted Cindy to make Amy tell where Casey was.

My mom and brother-in-law work for a mortuary, and have seen many dead bodies. From what they tell me (and I can imagine it to be true) is that seeing a dead child is the absolute worst.  My brother-in-law sometimes has to pick up the deceased, but he has darn near refused to pick up children.  He just can't stand seeing them like that.

You have to be a heartless SOB to dump your dead child off somewhere and let them rot.   If it was all an accident, why would it be so hard to call 911? Why the fear in doing so? It just doesn't make sense!!

Not only that but let's take a survey.

If your child disappeared with the Nanny (let's forgo the enormous amounts of other things that are wrong with this).

Which would be your AUTOMATIC natural response without thinking?

A. Call 0911 or run to a neighbor for help?

B. Go and rely on "other" resources to find her?

I guess you all know my answer to that...LOL

Thankfully, I have not witnessed any deceased babies. What is the difference?

Green Nurse ... nothing to forgive.  However ... if you giving bananas away ... it would be nice if you could you slice one over a bowl of Honey Nut Cherrios and ... just a little 2% milk.

I am all alone for dinner tonight ... do not feel like cooking and ...

Knay it's A for me!!! Did you find your child

Lisa I didn't have a missing child. Was just trying to say what I would do if that happened

Sorry knay misunderstood

Don't be sorry. Even if it was someone I didn't know and I could feasibly help in the search, I would doing EVERYTHING possible. Knocking on doors, making phone calls, scouring neighborhoods, etc...

I was the fanatic, insane mom...but I found her.

Karma, forgot to add, George came back with cash and gas cans.  I would assume Cindy was with him on this trip, she would have to drive their car home as he was driving Casey's car home.
Ahh....now I have to revise my timeline lol
So the tow place told George the car was out of gas or did George get into the car the 1st time they went to get it?Interesting.......

Calming the Storm: Psychodynamic Treatment of Panic Disorder  -snip-
Psychoanalytic Concepts in Panic Disorder  -snip-
Defense Mechanisms
Fantasies and affects that are experienced as dangerous can be dealt with through the triggering of defenses, that is, mental processes that disguise the fantasies or render them unconscious.26 Clinical and research observations indicate that panic patients employ particular defenses: reaction formation, undoing, and denial.27 Reaction formation and undoing play a particular role for panic patients in that they attempt to convert an angry affect into a more affiliative one, diminishing the threat to an attachment figure. In reaction formation a threatening feeling is replaced by its opposite; negative feelings of panic patients are oftentimes replaced by concern and efforts to help others. In undoing, a negative affect or fantasy is typically taken back in some way. Denial represents a lack of recognition of the presence of a particular feeling or fantasy, such as a patient reporting he was not angry even after someone had done something hurtful to him. It is generally important to bring these defenses to the patient’s attention as they maintain the patient’s avoidance of exploring the frightening feelings and fantasies. For example, a patient who follows the statement “I hate him” by “but I really love him” (an example of undoing), is often trying to avoid the intensity of his angry feelings.

So are we still watching the grass grow?  I can't give a play by play on anything tonight...have to watch the Bama game on television.  So don't anyone bother me...and put up those brooms right now!!

Geesh!  These newbies are so hard to break in... Rolling Eyes

Sorry Lala.  Newbie with real life experience of child missing for 20 days and don't think newbies without that experience can embrace that feeling, yet post insensitive posts unless they live thru it..  Grief and frustration comes in so many ways.  I think we can all fight (slightly-sort-of) Cindy's action re her denial because I was just the oppposite when my child was missing.  Newbies have to know that all mothers of children missing are not the same as Cindy.  There is a big difference.  I have just been through looking for missing child and me, my friends, and ex, put our lives on line to find her and we did...NOT THE COPS.  I do not like when someone posts that parents do not do enough to find kids.  That is not true.  I am not the parent of Madeline or Caylee...I am the parent of Krista who was missing and I was a total nut in people's faces.  We all put our lives on the line and thank God, he is put away for 10 years and I got my daughter back.  Was I irrational and delusional on TV...YEP...Was I a bitch...YEP.....but I found my child and not the cops.  Me. my friends, my ex and my co-workers found her.....

Cops can screw up and mom's can be ballistic....no one should criticize unless they have been thru it.

It is a totally insane feeling when your child is missing and you will do anything to find them.  ANYTHING.  Yes, you are insane and irrational.  That is normal.  If you were not....that is abnormal.

I do not intend to offend anyones post....just realize that when your child is missing, and you are a caring person, you are going to be irrational....I was....but it got my baby back.

Any caring parent would put neck on line to get child back.......much unlike the Anthony's.

I have read so much re people losing toddlers for 5 min's or so and I can feel for them....been there and done that only to find them in toy isle.

Knowing your 14 y/o is off with 21 y/o drug addict....different scare and momma mode kicks in.  You are going to put life on line to find her, get her home and get idiot locked away, which I did....YEP, i was a totally crazy until I won...I WON......HE IS AWAY FOR A LONG TIME.  I am at peace right now after my insanity...It paid off.

On another note...did I hear Gustav at cat 5?

I hate you had to go through that with your child my story is a little different but I watched my son get hit by a truck when he was 8 and it nearly finished me I can remember it all like yesterday I told God take my heart take anything from me just let my baby live she is showing nothing of remorse or sorrow.

Amen.  It is a pain that you can never describe and it hurts so much.  I feel your pain.  Any bad that comes to a child makes us feel pain no matter what it is.
