Caylee Marie Anthony, 2, FL Missing since June 16-just reported by mother #12

Here's what I'm thinking:

#1  The Anthony family has known or suspected something horrible happened to Caylee but without answers from Casey they've been in denial.

#2  They KNOW that Casey is in "another world" and isn't acting normal at all.  They can't get any rational answers out of Casey.

#3  They know Casey is a sociopath or psychopath or whatever.  That's why they keep saying that Casey is answering "as best she can" or "in her own way".  They know she's lost it.

#4  It's easier for them to live in denial that to accept that Caylee is dead. 

#5  I think Casey may have always had psychological problems but when Caylee died (probably accidental) she snapped.

I hope LE and TES can find Caylee's body.

Klaas That is exactly what I think - then I also believe with them talking to the media early on, they got in over their heads (believing Casey) - now they all look like idiots.

Klaas That is exactly what I think - then I also believe with them talking to the media early on, they got in over their heads (believing Casey) - now they all look like idiots.

They could continue to deny until the DNA came in.  Then they tried to say it was someone elses body and was placed there while in the towing yard.  Now it's reported it was definately a dead Caylee in the trunk, how are they going to spin it this time?  They've run out of spin.

Sorry, still too new to do this properly, but the question was asked, "I wonder what time Cindy did call Amy."

According to Amy's statement, Cindy called her around 5 PM while she was at the mall. She also picked her up at the mall, and it apparently was a bit of a drive away from Cindy's house.

George says Cindy called police at 8:30 pm. Per the police report, Cindy found Casey at 7:30 pm at Tony’s, per the #  for Amy they got out of the front seat of the car after picking it up

CINDY ANTHONY: All right, here's what happened. 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon, brings the car home, pizza smell in the back trunk. No evidence of Caylee, no evidence of Casey.
I didn't have any issues, did I? What time did I make the 911 call? Ok? I found a pair of pants in the back seat. And, by the way, the two pair of shoes were left in the back seat.
I took the pants out, threw them in the wash with other wash that I had that day, not knowing that that might become evidence.
And that night when the police arrived at my house, the first thing I said "I took a pair of pants out of the car and I washed them." Do you think that they cared? No, they didn't care



Also in my reading today, Casey tells police her car ran out of gas, that it showed 1/2 tank, there is a point when picking up the car that the gage was showing empty or so it's been said. Also Casey said 2 guys helped push her into the parking lot, could be a lie, if not, I wonder if anyone has come forward about that to give a time.

Well, to my knowledge, she never mentioned the stench until the 911 call later that evening. In the call to Amy, she said, (according to Amy's statement, page 243) that Casey was in a lot of trouble and she might go to jail if Cindy does not find her.

BT Girl - the only way I can explain about the babies, is that don't have our sins, they go peacefully and so no pain or fear shows on their faces.  One of my friends died recently in his sleep.  I went to his wake.  You would think he would have looked peaceful but he didn't.  They had to do a lot of work on him. 

Your absolutely right...I held my cousins dead baby before we released her to the morgue...and its true..they just look at absolute peace...like they are sleeping...its heartbreaking bcuz you just keep thinking they will wake up...but they just don't...

I could never do what its apparent Casey has done...if it was an accident I would be calling 911 while at the same time frantically getting to the hospital at the end of he street...I dont even think I could make myself wait for paramedics to arrive..I would just want to get help as fast as possible and end any pain that was occurring...that is another thing that bothers me to no end..how could she bear to cause her pain..extend pain..or witness the aftermath...i'm just sick over this whole thing...I can't hug and snuggle my two lil ones enuf...

Dismal Turnout For Missing Caylee Search
Some Blame Turnout On Negative Feelings Toward Child's Mother, Family

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A call for volunteers to search for a missing Orlando girl drew only a handful of people over the weekend instead of a crowd of thousands originally expected.

"We usually have 1,000 to 2,000 a day (for a search)," Texas Equusearch official Mandy Albritton said. "Unfortunately, Saturday we only had 200."

Even fewer volunteers showed up for a Sunday search.

Some blamed the low turnout -- which was described as dismal -- on Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony.

"Regardless of what your opinion is about the family, the focus is on this little girl who needs to be found," volunteer Magie Woodward said.

"I'd like to see a better turnout," volunteer Lee Mann said. "There is so many people around here. Anybody could help."

"We need them to realize this search is not about the family," Albritton said. "This search is about brining this baby home. Whether to live out the rest of her life or rest -- it's a rescue mission."

The Orange County Sheriff's Office directed the teams to areas that needed to be searched Sunday.

"It's important that we find Caylee whether she is dead or alive," Orange County Sheriff's Sgt. John Allen said.

Saturday, a group of volunteers used sonar and a high-tech airboat to search Central Florida swamps and other remote areas for a missing Orlando girl.

"We still have that glimmer of hope that (Caylee) is still out there alive," Equusearch official Tim Miller said. "But our experience in 920-plus searches is that this is probably not going to end up good."

if they confirm that she is dead how they can say to find Caley dead or alive

Because Tim Miller was busy out searching today and probably hadn't seen nor heard the report from the lead detective.  It's also entirely possible that Tim was aware Caylee was dead but was told to not say anything until the lead detective released the info to the media.
