I have stopped up ears and can't hear on the phone, but I'm willing to donate $100. I can either do it through Paypal at the TES site, or if someone I know well is placing an order using a credit card, I don't mind sending them my credit card number.

Okay so do we want to order pizza now and work on the water and snack for later or tomorrow?

Not sure what everyone's thinking. I HAVE GOT to head out, an hour and a half late but will check in in about an hour or so to see if the pizza thing has been organized. I'll do both for sure.

I have no idea of places to call for food deliveries. I'm still hoping we cant donate through paypal and have a volunteer pick up supplies. Haven't heard back yet? If you guys are ordering certain subs or anything let me know I will add to order.

I'm also going to mention the need for donations of food and water on any and every forum I've ever posted on and I hope everyone will do the same.  

I know there are plenty of people who would be more than happy to help in any way they can.

San, I would think through Paypal would be the most organized way to do the donations. I just can't figure out how the donations are going to get to a pizza place in time for the searchers to have lunch.

High finance has never been my strong point.

Has anyone contacted the news media down there about this yet?  Maybe they can go local and get donations.

I don't have the links but I would email them or even call them if I had their phone numbers.  They are local and they could make it happen...what about radio stations too?

Ask for the local people in Orlando to go out and get water and snacks...they could deliver them then...maybe we can get other places to donate. 


I am going to find the numbers to the big food chains and see what I can do.

I have to go help a friend get her mother who uses a walker to the church up the road that is being used as a shelter, but will check back in. If I do not make it in time to donate for lunch today I will most definitely donate for tomorrow before my electricity goes out...

I have to go out for about 5 hours...can't not go....but I thought someone might call churches in the Orlando area.....and if anyone wants to call Subway...the $5.00 sub are HUGE...I'll donate as soon as I can get back home...and help out with any purchases....
