Caylee's Mom Leaving Jail; Crowd Angry Over 'Paris Hilton' Treatment
Caylee Anthony Last Seen In Mid-June

POSTED: 12:49 am EDT September 5, 2008
UPDATED: 1:23 am EDT September 5, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. -- An angry crowd of protestors formed outside the home of the grandparents of missing Caylee Anthony after it was determined the child's mother, Casey, will again be released from jail.

Local 6 News reported that the parents of Casey Anthony, George and Cindy, signed a promissory note agreement where they put up bond money to get their daughter out of jail.

Casey Anthony, 22, was most recently jailed on theft charges unrelated to the disappearance of her daughter who was reported missing in mid-July but was last seen about 31 days earlier.

Earlier Thursday, it was reported that the bond money was given to the Anthony family and that the actual source of the funding wanted to remain anonymous.

A statement from the family's attorney was released indicating there was an anonymous party.

"Casey Anthony is being bailed out of jail. The individual posting the bond prefers to remain anonymous and is doing it because of the belief that Ms. Anthony's Constitutional rights have been grossly violated," the statement said.

Additional details also surfaced about bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, who orchestrated Casey's initial release from jail.

"Though Jose Baez and his client appreciate what Mr. Padilla initially did, his latter unjustified retreat has clearly demonstrated he cannot be trusted. Mr. Baez, nor Ms. Anthony will work with Leonard Padilla ever again on their case. Mr. Padilla is simply milking media time under the pretense of reposting bond and that offer is rejected," a released statement said.

Jail records showed that Baez spent nearly seven hours with Casey Anthony Thursday.

Also, two Department of Children and Families workers visited Casey Anthony in jail Thursday but the reason for the meeting was not known.

Once the bond is satisfied and processed, Anthony will be allowed to walk out of the Orange County Jail.

In Anthony's case, there is an undisclosed hold which is likely a psychological evaluation and that hold could be cleared quickly, Local 6 reported.

The second hold also involves an ankle-monitoring bracelet that she will have to wear when she returns to her home in east Orange County.

Two different bond agencies in Kissimmee split the bond -- $250,000 each.

The exact time Casey Anthony leaves the jail is not known, according to Local 6 News.

Angry Crowd Forms

Meanwhile, a crowd of people angry at the potential release of Casey Anthony formed outside the home of her parents Thursday night.

Demonstrators flocked to Hope Spring Drive within minutes of the release of news that Casey Anthony could be returning home again.

Casey Anthony is not home yet and the spectacle has already begun, Local 6's Mike DeForest reported late Thursday.

Some neighbors said they were furious their streets will host a "circus" once again.

"This scares me a lot because we had a lot of protestors here last Friday night," neighbor Joyce Dickens said.

An angry crowd cheered and yelled threats at Casey Anthony when she was led away from her parents home in handcuffs last week.

"I really thought, yes, she is going to be in jail now and we don't have to worry about the protestors being out here and everything," Dickens said. "And now, they are going to be back."

Volunteer searcher, Kenyatta Coley, and her friends said they were disgusted that Casey Anthony is coming home again and over her "celebrity" treatment.

"We have been out there (in the woods) since 9 a.m. while (Casey Anthony) is in the air conditioning," Coley said. "We've been eaten up, seen alligators and everything in the swamps looking for her baby and she is getting treated like a celebrity, and I think it is wrong."

A demonstrator also said it seems Casey Anthony is getting better treatment than Paris Hilton treatment, DeForest reported.

There was at least one person who defended Casey Anthony's right to be home during the investigation.

Good Morning All!

Some of us can't sleep and some of you are on here very early!

My "dumb" question is:

OK.. I heard the home was on a cul-de-sac. Can't the police just close the street, say a block away and keep everyone away... for public safety and public nuisance?

It's so good to have a place to come to rally around for the Good! A place to debate the ins and outs. I have learned more than I ever wanted to know and consider the Monkeys to be family!

Thanks and God Bless

People have a right to peacefully protest. Police shouldn't interfere if no laws are being broken. Given the feelings of Sheriff Beary, I don't think they will get involved unless there is trouble.

That news release has an error... shouldn't it be $25,000 each.

Sleeping pill finally finally working. Catch you all sometime later today!

Just thought about something... in Ohio or KS. there was a lady who was kidnapped in a Target parking lot, I think, later deceased. The man had put a rag up to her face and then pushed her into her car. I think TES came in to search later and they found her in a park 22 miles west.

Wouldn't Chloroform be used for this?

Sorry to hear this is used in the "club scene". What ever happened to just plain ole beer?

Oh.. understand. Thanks.

I was at a prayer vigil for Donna Jou. Ms. Allred was there and lots and lots of press. We could stay on the sidewalk, the grass median but not on anyone's property or in the street. I had forgotten.

Thanks!

Was sorry that LE didn't follow up on Casey being on the Internet with a minor like you pointed out to them. That was breaking of bail right there.

Keep up the Good Work!

IBE, they did follow up on it. There may be more to come. They have lots of stuff we don't even know about. I don't think she'll be out long, if she does get out.

These guys in OCSO know what they are doing. I truly believe they  have a plan and we just have to be patient. They want that baby! They have done an awesome job so far. I don't think they're going to let us down.

Okay what I don't understand is why Baez would ask for it July 29th but then Casey turns around and doesn't take the one this week?

Actually, he asked for it July 25th and this is the same one, the offer,  that ran out this week.

And Looky who visited her on the 25th, for 3 hrs.

http://www.wesh.com/2008/0728/17017776.pdf

Look at all the other days and hours he visited. Lot of time for an attorney to devote to one client. Something is definitely wrong with this picture.

Hi Turbothink - welcome!  Unfortunately (or fortunately) I don't have much experience with attorneys and the amount of time they visit their clients in jail.

My brother is an attorney and he is amazed at the amount of time this man has spent with Casey. He said either the man has no other clients or  there is something else going on. He says no attorney spends that much time except on a capital case, and that is usually just for a few days before court starts.

He brought something to my attention and that was "total hours" spent. Since all hours (even phone calls) are billed, there is a very large amount already involved just on the time we are privy to. He said in any firm, this would never be done UNLESS someone with very DEEP POCKETS was footing the bill.

I have always said there is much more to this and this attorney than we have any idea.
Good morning and welcome new Monkey's
Turbo,I love your qoute.
