Really?  So Baez is the one person that Casey told the truth to.  If he knows where the body is can he withhold that information?  If he knew where Caylee was alive he would have told already because the would help Casey, right?

I don't think I like that idea.  How can anyone not want to bring her home for proper burial?  I just don't think I could do that.

If Casey told Jose where the body is, yes he can withold that information.  Ethically, Jose should reveal information that leads him to believe a living person is in imminent danger, but he's under no obligation to reveal information about someone who is already dead or where to locate the remains.  This crime has already occured.  He only has to reveal information about a crime that is immently ABOUT to occur.  Sucks, I know.  I couldn't be a criminal defense attorney either.  They are definitely a special breed.

Well then doesn't that all but prove that Caylee's no longer with us?

Local Chemist Calls Chloroform In Anthony's Car 'Definitive'

Sources with knowledge of the investigation told WESH 2 that air samples from Casey Anthony's car came back positive for vaporized chloroform.

"I think it's as significant or more significant than finding decomposition products," chemist Jeff Flowers said.

Flowers has testified in state and federal court as an expert and said positive tests for vaporized chloroform mean those results could not have come from cleaning products, human body fluids or a mixture of anything else. Flowers said it had to have been pure chloroform.

"It could not have come from a chemical reaction in the trunk. It's impossible. That solvent could knock out the driver of the car. It's a very dangerous thing to have that material in your car," Flowers said.

He also said that these kinds of tests to detect vaporized chloroform are very common and admissible in court.

"I can name 30 labs in Florida that are absolutely scientifically inrefutable on that test. It's a very common test," Flowers said.

Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, was asked about the positive chloroform test results on Thursday.

"I don't comment on any evidence I have not seen," he said.

Orange County investigators said they are waiting for more test results.

Investigators said they would love to talk to Casey Anthony again and find out what happened to Caylee. Without that, they said, the scientific evidence is so important because it's not based on someone's opinion or memory.

Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary spoke for all his investigators who've put in thousands of hours in the search for Caylee, and said that regardless of if Caylee is alive or has passed away, they need to find her.

Since mother Casey Anthony has said she does not know where her daughter is, top investigators said scientific evidence is playing a crucial part in the search for Caylee.

“It's not subjective. It's not someone's opinion or recollection. That's why scientific evidence is so important to us," Chief Ron Stucker said.

If chloroform was indeed in Casey Anthony's car in high concentrations, Flowers said it will be very difficult to explain how the hazardous chemical that cannot be purchased over the counter may have been in her car.

Tests are being conducted in at least two places: the FBI lab in Quantico, Virginia and also the so-called, "Body Farm," a forensic testing lab at the University of Tennessee.

On NG tonight, one of the guests said that their is a 99.9% chance that the phones at the Anthony house are being tapped.  If Cindy is reporting all of these "tips" that she is allegedly receiving re: Caylee (Texas, etc) then can't they prove that there are no calls and charge Grandma with making false statements or some such crime?  Or is she not even reporting these to LE, just the media?

Think about this.  You're at Sears in Puerto Rico and you see a little girl who looks just like Caylee.  Do you really carry Cindy's number around and call her or do you call 911 who can get there much faster?  Cindy's a f'n liar!  She claims she gets thousands of calls a day saying the people have tried calling the police but they don't call back.  In the next breath Cindy will tell you that they don't pick up the phone if it is someone they don't know.

O/T I spoke with Cubbee tonight too...she is doing well for now...they told her it could be 32 days before she gets power.  She has a generator but can only use it for just one or two appliances and they can't get any gas for it when it runs out yet.  Where she is they have no stores open or gas stations yet.  She is going tomorrow to get ice and water from FEMA.  She's in good spirits...she is going to a friend this Sat and try to log in and say hello.  She misses us.

The reason I ask is Cindy was talking to a reporter and the reporter ask whether Caylee might have met with an accident like drowning or some other accident? 

The reply was Oh my god not another one.

That seemed very odd to me. This was about 2 weeks before the first arrest.

ABC's "20/20" will turn to the baffling saga of missing Caylee Anthony in its Friday broadcast.

Here's how the newsmagazine described the segment about Caylee: "In an exclusive report, '20/20' will air never-before-seen home videos and photographs offering new insights into her young life with her mother, Casey, who remains at the center of the investigation. Elizabeth Vargas' report also includes interviews with Caylee's grandparents and Casey's brother and a former boyfriend, as well as a detailed account of events from the time Caylee disappeared."

The report will feature reporter Walter Pacheco of the Orlando Sentinel. The newsmagazine airs at 10 p.m. Friday on WFTV-Channel 9.

Another segment will look at the possibility of a serial killer in Boca Raton.

Nikkib - this is a spoof at the Anthony family.  The second poster (the blonde titled Justice for Caylee) has a real MySpace site titled:  wwwMySpace.com/caseyanthonyneedsprison4life  Her name is Raechel Kitchens from Germantown, Tennessee and she is the one that telephoned both Leonard Padilla and Cindy Anthony - she called CA after last night's Nancy Grace.




Raechel removed the telephone calls today as she states that people were being mean to her about them.  She has a wonderful MySpace site dedicated to Caylee with beautiful pictures of Caylee.  She also wrote and taped a song about Caylee that will break your heart. 

I heard the phone calls to LP, but I didn't know she also telephoned Cindy.  What was the conversation about?

PinkLady - Raechel telephoned Cindy after last night's Nancy Grace as Raechel was upset at the treatment of Tim Miller and TES.  Raechel allowed Cindy to talk freely and two of the statements that I remember are that Cindy said that Casey "is a damn good mother" and that the investigation of Caylee is being conducted "by a narrow minded group of individuals".  I wish now I had saved all of it as Raechel removed the two phone conversations today due to harrasment to her.  I am sure that she still has the phone tapes and hopefully now that she is getting a lot of support she will repost them.

I think that her quote "Oh my god, not another one" was b/c she found a positive pregnancy test in Casey's trunk.

If you need damage control, you hire a PR firm, not a criminal defense attorney.  My question is, what do Cindy and George need a criminal defense attorney FOR?  He says he is not involved in Casey's case, he is representing Cindy and George in THEIR case.  What case?  What case is going on that George and Cindy need criminal defense representation?

Does anyone else wonder if this "anonymous" donor for the latest bail is none other than Jose Baez himself missing his daily 6 hour trysts with Casey Anthony?  I've NEVER seen an attorney so attentive or so interested in fighting to have his client out on bond.  Nor have I seen an attorney spend so much money (billable hours, investigators, court costs, loss of billable hours from other clients, etc) in representing a client.  It appears to me that this man, Jose Baez, is very emotionally and personally invested in his young, female client.


Honestly, if I were his wife I'd be asking him why he's spending tens of thousands of dollars on this girl and why he's so invested in securing personal and private contact with her.  And why he's spending so much time at her home late into the night.  Something is not right here with Baez and Casey Anthony.

I have always wondered how she was paying her fee.  Trust me, Jose is on an ego trip.  God only know what kind of BS is transpiring between those two pyronas.  He is riding this train til it pulls into the station, regardless of his qualifications to a case of this magnitude.

In one of the videos someone posted a link for today, Baez communicates that he and Casey are going over the 'discovery'.  IIRC, it is piece by piece.  Could that be what is taking all those hours?  How much discovery could there be?  Maybe someone needed a small trailer to haul it?

Is it possible that Baez sees himself as another Joe Tacopena?   Perhaps he's looking for a place on the talk show circuit?  Legal panels?

If there were someone else involved, maybe one of the 'new' friends, could that be a funding link?

How do some of those people pay Joe T.?  Are all of Joe T.'s clients wealthy?
