Authorities received a tip late last night that led them back to the Anthony house. A caller reported that there was a weapon on the property.

Why was George and Cindy not arrested?  Why was Casey not returned to jail.  Why was the bail bond not revoked?  What are the consequences if the bail conditions which both Casey and her parents agreed to are not adhered to?

The find could have cost Casey a trip back to the jail. Condition 15 of the home confinement agreement Casey signed states, "I will not possess or have in my residence or in my vehicle any deadly weapons. (Examples: firearms, martial arts weapons or explosives.)"

Orange County Corrections contacted the duty judge, Circuit Judge Daniel Dawson. According to Moore, Dawson said that he would take no action until he spoke with the judge who issued the bail order. Dawson spoke with Circuit Judge Stan Strickland early Saturday, who said that because there is no indication that Casey knew the gun was in the trunk, the jusge did not plan to return Casey to jail, Moore said.

I am aware our the Judge's decision but ... I still ask "Why?"  I expanded my reason for asking "Why" in my above post in regards to George and Cindy's qualifications to continue securing the $500,000 bond.

Monkeys, lets do some serious thinking.  What can we do to publicize that the Anthonys have refused to provide a scent source for the dogs.  Our pressure worked before with the called to TES, the volunteers, and the food.  What can we do to get a scent source for those dogs and their handlers?

I think before we do anything we need to find out from Tim Miller if it's really true they haven't been provided with a scent source.

Would Red be able to verify this information?

One of the K9 handlers said that they would have an easier time during the search if Casey Anthony or her family would provide them with an item that would have Caylee Anthony's scent on it. According to the handler, an item was requested from the family but they allegedly refused to provide it.

They refused to provide TES with an article belonging to Caylee?     I am outraged.  Who do we know that can get this information on the front page of every newspaper?  What mother or grandparent would refuse to provide a scent source for 800 people who are searching for your missing daughter/granddaughter?  They really don't want Caylle to be found, do they.

I don't think LE want her back in jail yet....maybe in a few days.I really believe LE is working some kinda strategy here.

At least Florida weather is cooperating with the search team today.  I just have a couple of comments to make about the "incest" comments.  While training for a teaching career, I was taught of some "signs" to look for to identify a possibly abused child. One of the big things that seems to raise flags is when a family is "detached" from the rest of the world and really keeps to themselves.  During this entire episode, it has seemed strange that not many close friends of the Anthony family have been interviewed or come forward to attest to their good character.  Also...if I were a reported, I would have high tailed it to Ohio to interview friends and co-workers of George and Cindy's, as well as childhood friends of Lee and Casey.  It seems to me that they may have some "family secrets" that makes them prefer this lifestyle.

Ironic isn't it that Casey requires a "babysitter" and we have not seen any evidence of her claimed babysitter for little Caylee!

Gun Taken From Anthony Home

ORLANDO -- News 13 has learned a gun was taken from the home of the grandparents of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony early Saturday morning.

The Orlando Sentinel reported Saturday Orange County deputies were seen taking something from the spare tire well in George Anthony's car.

A spokesman with the Orange County Corrections Department told News 13 they received a tip sometime between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. Saturday of a handgun present on the Anthonys' property.

The weapon is being held by the Orange County Sheriff's Office for safe keeping.

I am guessing that Padilla called in the tip. 
George and his friend or brother were the first to escort Casey to Baez's office during her first home stay.  George could have told Padilla that he could guard her and that he has a gun.
