Caylee Marie Anthony, 2, FL Missing since June 16-just reported by mother #16

I am a NEW MONKEE here... but I have checked out this site since Natalee H. It is a shame that her body was never found... but we ALL know WHO was involved!!!!

This case has also took my interest..... I have read the forum daily.. andFINALLHY today decided to post my comments..... so yes i am a new MONKEE..... but this name has always been my MS name.

Anyway....I live in NC and cannot go out and search even though i would like to...... I DID NOT SEE 20/20 TONIGHT!!!! it is probally a good thing... the Anthony's have gotten more camera time than they are worth....given their tract record......

MY QUESTION IS...............WHERE THE HECK IS CAYLEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Klaas, I would say it has been a somewhat painful evolution at times.  I do think it has been well worth reading and even participating from time to time.  SM has provided thought provoking comments and also support for those in need.  It has found its place in today's ever changing world.

I was more interested in the photo taken from Ricardo's Facebook page, but; only a hand full of people were posting at the time.  I had never seen that before this morning (very early).

i AM NOT AN EXPERT HERE BY ANY MEANS... BUT THE FBI LAB IS DOING THE TESTING...... DO YOU NOT THINK THEY WOULD TEST ALL POSSIBLE MEANS IN THE PROCESS... JUST MY OPINION..... If the hair is genetically the same for both Casey and Caylee, then they must have the same father, as the mother passes her chromosomes to the child and the child inherits another set of chromosomes from the father.  This can only happen when Casey and Caley have the same father.
 

I am not a DNA expert but I believe there are two kinds of testing: nuclear and mitochondrial.  Mitochondrial DNA testing only confirms maternal lineage (the mitochondria only has maternal genes).  Nuclear DNA has both maternal and paternal genes.  If the hair did not have a good root, I don't believe that nuclear DNA could be extracted.  The hair shaft can yield mitochondrial DNA but no nuclear.  They may not be able to test for the paternal lineage.  

If what I have read is correct, there was many samples of hair and many with scalp attached, so that will be determined easily.

I have never heard of hair samples with scalp attached anyone else?

Welcome Crazylove!  I agree that the LE and FBI labs are doing their job.

I signed up with facebook.  I looked at his photos, but didn't see this one.  This all took place around pages 46 to 49 of the last thread (in case anyone wants to dig).

Okay, LP supposedly gave TP 50k for Casey's bail.  He claimed they did not get that back when the bail was revoked.

Now GA & CA put up another 50K for her bail.

Did they (?) actually get 100k.  I confused.

Any bail experts here?
