JMO I don't think anybody broke into George's shed.  I think he was laying the groundwork for a coverup. George found something in that trunk on the 24th, same day gas can were reported missing.  Could Caylee have been in the trunk from the 18th to the 24th?  She sure could have.

Just 1 of my many theories, since we really don't know and can only speculate is that Casey left with Caylee on the 15th, was not there on the 16th like George said, something happened between the 15th and 16th, whether by accident or on purpose, she came back with Caylee on the 18th, put her in the sandbox while she borrowed the shovel and dug a hole under that big bin that was up against the house, perhaps George found Caylee himself, perhaps the dogs they have were digging over there and he investigated and found out it was Caylee, perhaps he called Casey himself and that's why she came on the 24th. Does anyone know what time the report was made for the gas cans?
On the 16th, George says he saw her at 12:50 PM because he watches that cooking show everyday before he leaves for work, yet the 24th, he's leaving for work at 2:25, seems to me his work shift wouldn't be changing like that.

So another theory of mine is on the 24th, Casey had already dug Caylee up, put her in the trunk and George came back home for something, maybe someone called him and said Casey's car was at the house and he wanted to see what was in the trunk that she had taken from the house, found Caylee's body, put the gas cans in there to help mask any odor and called them in as stolen.

So a question I would like to know is what if any effect would the combination of chloroform and gas fumes have by mixing in the trunk?

Ugh, dang her for having a 31 day head start on us.

Yeah, I see where you were going.  But, what if reporting the gas cans was an afterthought - the murder happened prior to that, the gas cans were used somehow and George suddenly remembered SH*T, I need to explain those gas cans somehow, and then called it in.

Could be, there's definately something up with the gas cans, especially since LE took them as evidence. And there was such a big deal about Casey not wanting George to look in her trunk and he and Cindy say and well, there were the gas cans, the whole time George is telling this, Cindy has her hand on his leg and she looks so nervous, like don't slip up and say what you really saw in that trunk.

That whole story was a rehearsed performance.  And you're right, everytime George was about to *&^% it up, Cindy interrupted him or squeezed his leg to death.  In my opinion, George is lying from start to finish about June 24th.

Here is some more speculation for you........

Since the houses in the Anthony's neighborhood are relatively close together, would you hear the struggle of a 2-3 year old that accidentally fell into a pool? Well maybe not accidental. Maybe Casey wanted it to appear that Caylee had drowned, and the plan was for her to put her in the pool and let her drown. To insure minimal noise struggle and have it still appear as an accident, she sedated her first with some chloroform. After Casey was sure Caylee had drowned her plan was to call GA and then CA in a panic and tell them what happened, let them panic....let them handle things ie calling 911 for her as they have always done before.... Problem was she couldn't reach them on their phones. Then she changed her plan. Why didn't Casey call 911-because she knew she was the cause and had some remnant of guilt? I don't know.
She had time to think......She hid Caylee in the yard until she thought of where to bring the body.On the 18th she backed the car up to the garage and removed the body. The babysitter plan was devised.

boyfriend in NY June 30 - July 5th

July 2 or 3rd - tattoo arrives in red toyota

night of July 5th seen at club with boyfriend

July 7-11 calls informing going to CA

15 July 22:11 CA statement - blah blah no mention of nanny or Zany

15th July 22:16 GA statement - arriving at home at 9:50, my spouse was in our garage cryin, upset and told me that Caylee Marie (our granddaughter) was missing, taken a month ago, BY A PERSON by the name of Zany. -

16 July 09:30 JG has first txt from Casey about missing Caylee - 2nd text later says taken by Nanny

July 16 car to police several items inside have the smell CA described

Ok, this is new information to me. Maybe I missed something. Lee claims that Casey was seeing a therapist who advised the grandmother to kick her out of the house and file for custody. When did all this go down? Anyone know?

I'm sorry. I wasn't clear. Rick is Cindy's brother and he has been on another message board (supposedly verified by the moderator and/or webmaster). He had pics with himself and Cindy, pics with himself and nursing home grandpa, etc. He seemed to be the real deal.

Anyways, he's why many of us know that Casey didn't tell anyone she was pregnant until she was 7 months along-- she denied it, saying she never had s*x.

Rick also said that the weekend of the 15-16, Cindy went to the nursing home to visit her dad with Caylee (we've seen the pics and video from this visit). Cindy's mom lives only a block away from the nursing home and visits twice per day. During that visit, she became angry at Cindy because Cindy somehow got Casey out of trouble for stealing checks from Cindy's mother (with me?). Those checks were tied to an account that was ONLY for the nursing home expenses but the bank inadvertently cashed the check anyways. Casey was going to either be arrested or something (the amount was for $384), but apparently Cindy did something so that Casey wouldn't get in trouble. Maybe Cindy made restitution with the bank, I don't know.

Anyways, the Grandmother was very upset with Cindy about this.

Also, Cindy had been going to a therapist and complaining about how Casey was. The therapist suggested she kick Casey out. Cindy was afraid that Casey would take Caylee with her. So, the therapist told Cindy she should file for custody.

Anyways, when Cindy returned home on the 15th, she got into a loud fight (heard by neighbors) with Casey about what happened with her own parents at the nursing home.

Rick completely seemed on the level, by the way. He knew things nobody would really know, so I believe him.

Yes, information from Cindy's brother Rick.  Cindy wasn't happy with Rick talking and "shut him up".

Suppose it happened like this:

6/15:  Father's Day, big argument, Casey grabs Caylee and storms out.

6/15/ to 6/16:  Caylee in the trunk, Casey finds her in the morning.

6/16:  Early afternoon, Casey begins calling the parents, checking their whereabouts (making sure they aren't home.)  Parents don't answer because they are angry, and tired of Casey's antics.

6/16:  Casey believes parents not home, buries Caylee in the yard using the Anthony shovel, and takes gas cans.  Shed doors unlocked, but after this the Anthonys lock up.


I don't believe George's story of seeing Casey and Caylee.  I do believe the story is a lie to confuse the time Caylee was last seen.

I totally agree with your timeline Slogger.I think George knew what happened from 6/16 on and Cindy is soooo good with those blinders of hers that she didn't know for sure till 7/15.

I'm thinking that George didn't know until after the 24th, when he reported gas cans missing, but he could have know earlier and used the gas can information to establish the 24th instead of the 16th.

I think Casey came back on the 18th (after using the Anthonys' shovel)  expecting to use the shovel, but it was locked up.  When Casey couldn't get the shovel to dig up Caylee, she borrowed the neighbor's shovel.

If Casey had been able to get the gas cans on the 18th, she would have used the Anthonys' shovel.  I believe she backed the car up to the house to get Caylee, not to deliver Caylee.

Aahh......Now that makes perfect sense to me!
LE did take the neighbors shovel as evidence,I am praying they found evidence on it.
OK,George is not positive about the date of the shed breakin/gascans being stolen.Dang,I just noticed the days between when she borrowed the shovel(6/18)and when George reported shed breakin.I assumed she used the borrowed shovel to break into the shed?Hmmmm....thinking.....

It could be that the body was in the trunk on the 18th.  Casey makes a number of calls that day:

JUNE 18-

12:33p Call to Cindy at home

12:34p Call to Cindy's cell

12:35p Call to Cindy at home

12:36p Call to George's cell

1:09p Call to Cindy's cell

1:11p Call to Cindy at home

Shortly after these calls, the neighbor sees Casey back into the garage (which he says she never does), then comes over to borrow a shovel.

She moves the body to the backyard (explaining the decomp the dogs detected).  She starts to dig a hole (the depression/disturbed area next to the pool), but it's hard work and she doesn't have much time.  She abandons the effort, returns the body to the trunk, and returns the shovel.

She returns to the house on June 22nd, bringing the kitchen knife found in the car, to break into the shed and steal the gas cans.  I also believe she stole a shovel (more on that later).  She disposes of the body somewhere on June 22nd.  Four days later, the smell in the car is unbearable, so she dumps it at the Amscot.

In early video of the garage, there is a shovel leaning against the wall.  As anal as those people are, the shovel would have been in the shed along with the rest of the tools.  Did George remove the shovel from the trunk when he cleaned out the car?

I'm thinking more like she buried Caylee in the backyard on 6/16-6/17 then went back on 6/18...backed car into garage,borrowed shovel,dug Caylee(I'm so sorry sweet Angel)up,returned shovel...like Slogger posted.
I'm kinda thinking the shed wasn't broken into....wait,there's a police report so I think George himself broke into the shed and took the gascans....trying to futhur Casey's alibi somehow.

I thought of that, too.  But the Anthony's dog(s) bother me.  I don't believe the dog(s) would have left a buried corpse alone - I think it would have driven them nuts.  The Anthony dog(s) are the main reason I suspect a dead body was not back there long, and might be the reason Casey changed her mind about burying Caylee there.

That's possible,Cindy did say she didn't let the dogs out in the backyard where Caylee plays.I think she was only buried in the yard for a couple of days.I would like to know how long decomp smells stay around after a body is removed.Long enough for cadaver dogs to scent?
