State Attorney's Office files check fraud charges

11 a.m.: Prosecutors officially charged Casey Anthony with charges related to $300 in checks stolen from a friend in July.

The 22-year-old is charged with one count grand theft; three counts of fraudulent use of personal identification information; three counts of forgery of a check and two counts of uttering a forged check. Each count is a third-degree felony, which is punishable by up to five years in prison.


... and Casey was not arrested and ... the amount of the bond was not increased.

Very nice.

Seeing all the yellow tape around the house makes it look like a crime scene.  My heart really goes out to the neighbors, though.  I can't imagine having to deal with the noise, lights, protesters, and everything for all these weeks.  And how do the neighbors that have little kids explain to them what's going on?

actually yes. from public property.

there is no right to privacy in a public area as ruled by the Supreme Court in the early 90's.

There is no barrier that can protect you from things you do not wish to hear in a public area. This has sprung it's own area - political correctness and hate laws.

that said - no one can stand on the fence to the Anthony back yard and hurl insults. But, I haven't seen anyone do that.

Sam ... shortly following 911 my youngest son's American FIL and MIL purchased two copies of a publication dated September 14th with the image on the front page of the firefighter raising the American flag over the rubble of the Trade Center.  To perserve ... both copies of these publications were framed.  This was the image was later altered to reflect a politically correct statement.

One year ago these special people who my son calls "Mom" and "Dad" presented my hubby and me with one of the coveted framed publications as a gift and ... it was afforded a special place on the wall in our front entrance.  A constant reminder of those who lost their lives and ... the loved ones left behind.

In other words ... a public sidewalk in front of my home could be considered a place where the constitution protects any person or group who takes it upon themselves to verbally harrass me day after day after day as I came and went.

Something does not seem right.

I just read the funniest thing on another site.....a poster said that their theory on why the camera goes blank is that it's because the Anthonys are filming their movie -  Shannen Dougherty starring as Casey, Captain Kangaroo as George, and CarrotTop as Cindy.

Lordy, that one made me laugh out loud!
