I meant to say that of late Casey was pretending to work.  As far as we know, she had not job for at least two years, but she went somewhere every day and took Caylee with her.  Cindy worked, though she does not seem in any hurry to go back to her job now, does she?  I don't think Cindy raised Caylee in an exclusive way.  But she did take care of her after work and on weekends a lot of the time, I am sure.

I do not approve of much of the behavior from the protesters, but I also see how the Anthonys continue to fan the flames and provoke such attention.  If they were more dignified and less inclined to spin their fantastic yarns, there would be no protests, in my opinion.  But mainly, if they showed more concern for Caylee.

Another interesting tidbit from the article previously referenced.  It was said that Casey was taken to the hospital for a seizure some months ago.

Temporal lobe epilepsy

Dissociation is more common in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy than in any other neurologic disorder. The clinician should refer patients with dissociative symptoms for a thorough neurologic workup to rule out the presence of temporal lobe epilepsy or other organic processes. The standard EEG is of little help in distinguishing MPD from temporal lobe epilepsy because a high rate of nonspecific abnormalities has been detected in patients with MPD, most commonly bilateral temporal lobe slowing.

Jessie Grund is a friend of the defendants. The defendant’s mother mentioned him as one who took the defendant to a hospital earlier in the year for a seizure.

When I see these protestors on television, I think of an old thing I heard years ago. Maybe some of you can relate.  It seems when a tornado or disaster strikes, it's always the woman (curlers in her hair) and her hurband (not a tooth in his head) that wind up being interviewed.  I think a lot of these same types have showed up at the Anthony house. This is the one time that most of these people have a chance at being on television and they're going to milk it for every minute of fame they can!!!  As for me, I'm sick of seeing them every day.  Their presence is not news...it's merely an insult to the mentality of most people in the area that really care about finding Caylee!!!  As for me, I'll watch Nancy Grace, read this MB and when the local stations have something really newsworthy to report (like Casey back in jail) then I'll tune them back in!!!

I understand that many of you do not live in the area and don't see all of the news clips that we see here in central Florida. It seems that the media manages to find the least intelligent protestors in the entire group to interview. People are driving by the Anthony house, just to see what it looks like.  This is truly a circus!!! Grown men carrying baby dolls and signs saying Casey should kill herself!!!  Does the vigilante mentality make the protestors credible, concerned citizens???
Anninflorida, you are not the only Floridian who is questioning the behavior of their neighbors.  This article is titled "OUR DUMB STATE: THE CASEY ANTHONY EDITION  A little girl goes missing, and Central Florida goes insane." http://www.orlandoweekly.com/features/story.asp?id=12610

Too bad they can't re-word that to:

A little girl is murdered and made to go missing by her serial lying mother.

The insane part is that some people are so ---dam- stupid, they still do not see it.

Now that to me, is dumb.

At trial, the defense has just a couple of options:

  1. Try to show that Casey is mentally and/or emotionally ill and should be institutionalized, not sent to prison.
  2. Try to prove some physical malady caused her to do something and not be able to recall doing it.
  3. Try to toss some other person under the bus, along with one of the above defenses.

Any way you slice it, Casey is either guilty or nuts.  No way they can pass her off as innocent as the buds of May and completely sane.

Personally,

I am just sick of the Anthony's. Maybe we will get lucky this week and some nut job

will launch a sidewinder rocket through their window.

Launching a rocket through their window...lol!!! I can see where that would really help in find Caylee and convicting Casey.

I don't want any physical harm to come to the Anthonys or any destruction of their home.  I just think that protesters haved their rights, too.  No use to go beyond protesting, though.  Then they turn into vigilantes.  LE and the courts are responsible for handling matters of justice and punishment.

I completely agree with you.  But as I had posted earlier, I am not sure I could stay dignified either.  Some of those protesters are way over the top - seeking attention! JMO

In a situation like that, you have to stay out of the line of fire and not let yourself be provoked to actions such as both George and Cindy and even Lee have done.  It may not be easy but it is necessary.

Oh yes...let's not forget the guy that carved a tombstone out of styrofoam and put Caylee's name and DOB on it.  I suppose that really did a lot to bring about justice.  I

First, let me say that I agree with most opinions on this board but I'm having a really serious problem with the protestors in front of the Anthony house.

So...I suppose I'm very unpopular here after this post but I just had to voice my opinion.

IMO, Cindy went out of her way to confront the woman in the car across the street.  Cindy literally walked out of her own space and got into the woman's face.  It made her look as bad or worse than the woman in the car.  But George and Cindy are not models of decorum, as we know from the numerous police calls to the home.

The psychiatrist on NG say that it's a disassociative disorder, which is not a multiple personality disorder.  They're two different things.
[/quote]

Huh?! Dissociative Identity Disorder is Multiple Personality Disorder. They no longer call it MPD. Maybe she meant she had a different dissociative disorder other than Dissociative Identity Disorder. I posted, threads ago, a list of all the different dissociative disorders.

I just believe there is a time to let LE do their job and investigate this case and see that whoever is responsible for the death of this child is brought to justice and punished with the most severe penalities the law will allow.
