There was conversation awhile back (maybe, weeks back now) regarding some of Casey's pals stating that Caylee liked men. I remember thinking that must have been a typo; i.e., they really meant Casey. But, they were talking about Caylee.

Those statements bothered a lot of folks, I think. At the time, I wondered what these people could possibly hope to gain by lying about an innocent child. This subject matter has continued to plague me.

Without going back to read, I think statements to the effect were made by Clint and Amy. (I could be wrong; depending on my memory is not a good idea.) But if I choose to give some credence to the statements, it really bothers me to think that Caylee gave the impression of "liking" men.

It causes me to think that either she must have seen her mother in action often enough to begin to model the same behavior, or...I can't even voice the other. Suffice it to say that I am disturbed by all the links to child porn that Monkeys have been stumbling across.

Could someone please offer alternative ideas about this? 

Yes, those statements bothered me too...all kinds of red flags went off when I saw that.  Maybe she was more comfortable with men because all the women in her life are psychos.

Mary, there seems to be no doubt that Casey's way of life is sexual manipulation. It should be no shock to see Caylee mimicking her mother. I'm going to choose to believe this rather than something else.

It kind of bothers me that those guys even jumped to that conclusion. What can a child do to warrant that statement? What does it say about them?

Also wondered why she deleted hundreds of pics of herself and Caylee from her PC after Caylee went missing.  What was she hiding?   Either she only wanted her own best pics to go public or there was something in those pics she didn't want to reveal.

that was my initial reaction, as well. But the more I thought about it, (and if Amy was one of the people who said it), I had to admit, as cute as Caylee is in all of her pictures, I think she poses very maturely in many of them. In some pictures, she reminds me of Jon-Benet's posing. Someone taught her that. Or she just picked it up from watching her mother.

That really bothers me too the June 9th date.  The only odd thing I could find about that date is that Casey who was seeing Tony for some reason slept at Ricardo's that night with Caylee.  Also I think Amy mentioned there was a fight between Tony and Ricardo or Casey & Ricardo because Casey brought Tony to a party with Ricardo there when they were still sleeping together p/t.

Lala's, I agree they should have sat back and let her speak more often however I commend the officers for maintaining their cool. I think they did a good job, all in all. Someone earlier mentioned how when she spoke the truth her voice was low, almost a whisper. Whe she lied her voice sounded very sure of herself and in control. I do not know what that means, but it is something I noticed.

Her rationalizing is so unbelievable it's ridiculous.  She has an explanation for everything they throw at her.  I am sure Baez thinks the same thing except he sees a very disturbed person in Casey.  I almost guarantee you the Casey he sees is the little girl Casey that just wants to be loved and protected. 

When the detective asks her if Caylee is in a better place...the moment she answers is the truth...she says while almost crying....no she's not..she's not in a better place...you can see Casey's mind almost giving in to the fact that Caylee is dead.  They get so close to the part of her that is hurt when they talk about her mother being hard on her. She cries for herself and not for Caylee...Cindy Anthony has been the catalyst in all this mess.  My opinion of course, but it's all in the tapes.  Those detectives realize that something traumatic in her life has happened to bring her to this point...finding a child dead in your trunk could do that and having a manic mother could also do that, as well as, other things of which I won't go there at this time.

Multiple personalities happens more often than we realize. Or so I have read. I think Casey, as someone else said, wakes up each day in a different fantasy world.

I said she was a multiple personality early in this case and everyone laughed at me...LOL  It was evident by what she was doing...clear as day that she has several people there in that head. There is a very controlling personality that you hear in the tapes.  That is the one that lies and lies and has no remorse at all. They are so intertwined you can't unravel them at this point...it would take a lot of therapy sessions to even break through to the one that saw Caylee lying dead in her trunk.

They even ask her if she remembers what she was doing on June 8.  She says she stayed over at Tony's on June 8 and that Cindy had Caylee on that day.  She said it was on a Monday.

I just wonder why she never took off. She asked Cindy for "one more day". There is no doubt in my mind that if Cindy had agreed, Casey would have been gone. Did Casey think that she could avoid her mother forever while living in the same city? Did she believe that no one would ever notice that her child was gone?

I can't decide what I think about her mental state. Sometimes I agree with you on the multi. Other times, I think she is merely a product of her culture and upbringing; she's made a hard-hearted choice and has no remorse.
