Protestors Hold Vigil At Anthony Home

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The Anthony home remained fairly quiet Saturday. Protestors came and went throughout the day without any major disturbances.

Some protestors were so determined to get their message across, not even sprinklers could deter them. Others stood across the street and held their own vigil for Caylee.

Late Friday morning, the Orange County Sheriff's Office released two recordings of investigators questioning Casey Anthony on July 16, just after her daughter Caylee was officially reported missing. In them, detectives called Casey a cold-blooded, callous monster.

"Everything else you've told us is a lie. Remember when we had those two people we were talking about? The person who had an accident or made an accident or made a bad decision and a person who's just a cold-blooded, callous monster. That's telling me you're this second person, this cold-blooded, callous monster who doesn't care and doesn't want to help because she's afraid that something so heinous happened that everyone is going to look at her and say, 'She's a monster. She deserves to go away. She deserves to never see the light of day. Bad things should happen to her.' I don't want to believe that right now, but you're giving me no choice," the investigator told Casey. "Tell us what happened to Caylee."

"I dropped off Caylee and that was the last time that I've seen her. I dropped her off at that apartment," Casey replied.

"No you didn't," the investigator said.

Detectives tried to reason and even beg with Casey that they needed information about Caylee, but instead, detectives say, Casey told them one lie after another.

When Orange County detectives interviewed Casey Anthony about her missing daughter Caylee, they were astounded by the web of lies she spun.

"Well, let me ask you, let me ask how, by lying to us and sending us all these goose, these wild goose chases?" the detective questioned.

Casey told detectives she gave her daughter to a babysitter and then took them to an apartment where she says she dropped off Caylee. However, the apartment had been vacant since February and the babysitter, Zenaida Gonzales, says she never met Casey. Then she took detectives to Universal Studios in hopes of finding more clues. She told them she was an event planner, but she was actually fired two years ago.

"Just accidentally told us you had an office here and we needed to be here cause we might find something that would help? Or did you lie purposely or did you purposely mislead us? Which of those two is it?" the detective asked.

"I purposely misled you," she said.

"Do you think, do you think, do you believe thinking up more lies to tell us will help us?" the detective asked Casey.

"No," she said.

Detectives tried to reason with Casey and explain to her that by giving them the run around it was only going to hurt her, as well as Caylee.

"If you make a false report or if there's something you're not telling us the truth about, and I want to make it perfectly clear if you wanna go ahead and rescind this statement and if you want to tell me a different story about what happened. Basically, if you're trying to fabricate a story to kind of make something look a little better, now is the time to tell me. Are you telling me this is the story you want to stick with?" the investigator is heard questioning Casey.

"It's the truth. That's the story I'm going to stick with, yes," Casey said.

A random thought, since the Anthony's seem to behave themselves while the goon squad is there, perhaps the goon squad is to protect the public from Cindy and George rather than the other way around.

Multiple personalities happens more often than we realize. Or so I have read. I think Casey, as someone else said, wakes up each day in a different fantasy world.

I said she was a multiple personality early in this case and everyone laughed at me...LOL  It was evident by what she was doing...clear as day that she has several people there in that head. There is a very controlling personality that you hear in the tapes.  That is the one that lies and lies and has no remorse at all. They are so intertwined you can't unravel them at this point...it would take a lot of therapy sessions to even break through to the one that saw Caylee lying dead in her trunk.

I am starting to wonder if this is where the 9th comes in...that "casey" has not seen her since the 9th....but one of the others living in her bod with her has....and was in control from that point...or at least for a majority of the time....Trippy!!

Hi back from sleep, but just for a little longer.  Anyway in response to your multiple personality disorder theory maybe she adopted Zenaida G. as a convienent personality when she saw her application.  Did you notice how she uses an accent when she says Zenaida?  In her mind she seems to create people, places, jobs, situations and makes them her reality.

There was conversation awhile back (maybe, weeks back now) regarding some of Casey's pals stating that Caylee liked men. I remember thinking that must have been a typo; i.e., they really meant Casey. But, they were talking about Caylee.

Those statements bothered a lot of folks, I think. At the time, I wondered what these people could possibly hope to gain by lying about an innocent child. This subject matter has continued to plague me.

Without going back to read, I think statements to the effect were made by Clint and Amy. (I could be wrong; depending on my memory is not a good idea.) But if I choose to give some credence to the statements, it really bothers me to think that Caylee gave the impression of "liking" men.

It causes me to think that either she must have seen her mother in action often enough to begin to model the same behavior, or...I can't even voice the other. Suffice it to say that I am disturbed by all the links to child porn that Monkeys have been stumbling across.

Could someone please offer alternative ideas about this? 

Yes, those statements bothered me too...all kinds of red flags went off when I saw that.  Maybe she was more comfortable with men because all the women in her life are psychos. 

Lala's, I want to both laugh and crying at that statement. lol.

Mary, there seems to be no doubt that Casey's way of life is sexual manipulation. It should be no shock to see Caylee mimicking her mother. I'm going to choose to believe this rather than something else.

It kind of bothers me that those guys even jumped to that conclusion. What can a child do to warrant that statement? What does it say about them?

that was my initial reaction, as well. But the more I thought about it, (and if Amy was one of the people who said it), I had to admit, as cute as Caylee is in all of her pictures, I think she poses very maturely in many of them. In some pictures, she reminds me of Jon-Benet's posing. Someone taught her that. Or she just picked it up from watching her mother. 

Hi all...I have been debating about sharing this but have decided to because maybe it
might help some who cant wrap their heads around the terrible things that can happen to a very young child. Most of us cant fathom the horror but believe me it's real. My family knows from first hand experience. Also no harm can be done now by telling this because it happened many years ago...to my 3 year old granddaughter (she was 3 when we discovered it).

In my son's single years while doing the club scene about  nineteen years ago he became involved with a young woman who he fell hard for. They soon were living together, but with time he discovered a lot of things about her that he just couldnt accept and go along with (LOTs of major drugs and promiscuity, plus he just didnt like the crowd she seemed to enjoy) and they separated. They still saw each other at the clubs and my son did a lot of drinking in those days. Anyway, on Valentine's night one year he went home quite drunk, went to bed, and woke up the next morning with her laying there beside him (she still had the house key which my son had neglected to get back. He says he does not remember anything from that night, but 9 months later she delivered a little girl. My son was one of five possible fathers (yes 5, that wasnt a typo...smacking forehead here). His DNA came back as 99.8% (I hope Im saying that correctly), plus she looked identical to him. She was definitely his baby. Actually, once he accepted all this he came to love her very much. He went to court for custody but the girl's parents were well to do here in town, much better off then he or myself. (Our town is very clicky, and money and connections talk in this town). He has had the same job since he was 18, and he has always worked the 3 pm to 3 am shift. Our plan was that we would get a house together and I would take care of her and he would be with her during the day after he woke up and of course time together on the weekends, stuff like any normal family. But because of the girl's parents' connections, plus the fact that our incomes were much less combined then the grandparents' was, and my son's reputation for carousing...the mother's parents got custody of her. (There were also other issues involved that helped bring it to this end, such as the grandmother belonged to the Crepe Myrtle Society here in town, and numerous other such groups, and she and the judge's wife were very good friends. The day of court for the decision there were about thirty little ladies from the grandmother's groups there in the waiting area with her to support her...that's the kind of stuff we were up against). Our attorney is the one who told us about those things before going to court, and warned us that the chances weren't very good.

During the custody battle we were told by my son's attorney that the mother was a "snitch" for LE in order to keep herself out of jail because of drugs and prostitution. We did get the usual visitation. Here is the part of the story I have been leading up to. I apologize for this being so lengthy but I felt the history was necessary for you to understand just how it all came about the way it did, and just how bad her mother really was.

During one of her visits with us she was laying on the couch watching cartoons. I was in the kitchen and my son had been taking a shower. There was only a bar between the kitchen and living room and I could see her easily while I was cooking. At one time when I looked it appeared that she had fallen asleep so I just kept on doing what I was doing. My son came into the kitchen and very quietly said mom come here quick, look at ***, is she doing what I think she is? We tiptoed to the edge of the couch and my 3 year old granddaughter was masturbating, quite uninhibited. Needless to say we were way layed in a major way! We called our attorney, she connected us with a child psychologist (not sure if I labeled that right, but it was someone for child therapy and assessment). After a battle with the mother and grandparents we finally got permission to get her into therapy against their wishes. The psychologist told us that *** had no idea that what she was doing was wrong. She told the doctor/therapist that her mama had shown her how to do that and that sometimes her mama and her did it at the same time, and she liked to do it a lot. The therapist told us that once a child learns about that type of stimulation they wont quit because of the "feel good" nature of it. Also, like Caylee, *** was very very cuddly with men, it was almost eerie to see, and it hurt! And it hurt my son so much when she would act like that with him, he was constantly on guard in order to kind of ease away into some other direction whenever it would start.

We went back to court again to try one more time to get *** out of that atmosphere. Shortly before we were due to go to court for the final decision the mother took my grandaughter and her other two children (yep, she somehow hadnt lost custody of any of them) and left town, heading for Alaska from what we learned later, and she was killed in British Columbia. Our attorney told us that she had been given some kind of payoff according to LE to just disappear for her own safety because things for her were getting too "hot" locally, but she wasnt supposed to take the kids with her. Anyway, after the mother's death my son and the grandmother were notified that they would have to go to British Columbia to get the children. While my son was in the process of gathering the funds for the plane fare, etc. and getting the necessary legal papers in order to have *** released to his custody in British Columbia in  order to bring her home we were informed that the grandmother had already gotten there and had the children. After they got back home we again went to court to try to get custody. The same judge made the same decision regarding custody once again, and the grandparents got to keep her.

Within a month after that *** was living all the way across Texas with one of her mother's sisters, the grandparents hadnt even wanted to keep her, just keep her away from her daddy. Over the years visitation was almost impossible. My son fought for a couple of years in court and finally just couldnt afford to keep it up. He had only seen his daughter a very few times during that time. The family fought him tooth and nail to keep her away from him..we dont really know why. Anyway, one of her uncles called my son a few years ago and told him that she had really gotten out of hand with drugs, abortions, cutting herself...numerous issues that are way over the top. Then she turned eighteen last November, and came to see her dad. The first time he brought her out to see me she was entirely head to toe gothic...and multiple piercings any and everywhere, eyebrows, nose, tongue, all up and down her ears. And she was so high she could hardly focus her eyes. She wanted him to buy her a car and rent her an apartment. He asked her if she was willing to finish high school, and get some kind of job just because at eighteen that's what young people are supposed to do, start learning to be independent. Not just sit around and be supported. It was supposed to be her junior year and he wanted to help her and was willing, but on his terms which I think were more then fair.  When he told her what he would expect of her she just disappeared, and we havent heard anything more from her.

I believe with all my heart that how she is now is all due to how her life got started. If her mom was teaching her to masturbate and doing it with her (according to *** herself when she was seeing the therapist)...what else was she doing to and with ****, or allowing others to do, that no one knows about to this day? Her mom had the history of drugs - selling and using, plus the prostitution (verified by our attorney) and now *** is just like her. I only wanted to share this in the hope that maybe it will add some reality to those who just cant believe these things happen. They do...believe me.
I apologize for such a lengthy post. Once I got started I couldnt stop.

I can't begin to tell you how many stories I have heard from sooo many people that have experienced molestation and incest in their lives.  It's pretty disturbing, and in fact has made me somewhat of a hermit who trusts no one.  But thanks for sharing and God be with your granddaughter.
