I agree completely.  Listening to the tapes for the first time....everything the detectives said was true----it was only going to get worse and Casey's lies & denial were going to hurt the whole family.   These interviews were conducted on 7/16, before any protestors showed up....so Sorry!

Casey doesn't care about anyone but herself-now she's even putting her remaining family through this hell with her.   Disgusting the way Cindy Anthony has lied for her own daughter---reminds me of Anita Van Der Sloot!  That just annoying as hell and WRONG.

Well, now I keep getting emails from that site telling me that someone has looked at my profile. I always delete them without reading them, but maybe that's something those social networking sites are doing now.

invision ... I truly believe that Casey and George had not anticipated Cindy calling 911.  They did not anticipate the law entering the scenario.

I believe that the plan was to revealed the truth to Cindy and Lee when the timing deemed right.  Casey and George knew that Cindy would be hearbroken ... she would be angry but ... she would protect them from the legal consequences of their actions and ... she would live a lie for a lifetime ... a lie that implied that Caylee had been given up for adoption.

HI and WELCOME!! They warned her and I'm anxiously waiting for things to get even worse for her. I don't believe she will ever tell the truth. It may come out, but she won't tell it, IMO.

I wish the police had asked her:

1. Why she routinely took Caylee to a babysitter at all since it had just been established that she did not have a job.

2. After Casey stated that she had taken advantage of her Mom, she said that she had used her credit cards, even though she had her own money. I wish the police had asked her where she got her own money since she didn't have a job.

I just said the same thing to my husband.  Also, she said she had totally opposite schedules from Zanny's roommates.  What schedule was she on?

I also wish they let her talk more!  If she said "honestly" one more time, I was going to scream.  She is a very sick girl.

Thank you, everyone for the nice Welcome.   I've been a regular blogger on the SM site since 2006---finally decided to come in the forums.   While I don't consider myself pc illiterate....going to have to finagle around in here a bit so I can figure this out.    Guess I can go through the help pages...lol    I just enjoy catching up on everything here.   Haven't been as engrossed as much in a missing persons case since NH, never forget our Nat.   

PS-  I know this sounds mean, but I am so disgusted w/the Anthony family- I feel a little guilty that I have not contributed monetarily to the search for Caylee Anthony as I have in the past to NH.....I just can't get my head around Cindy Anthony supporting her daughter when it's obvious she is covering for her!   I feel badly about it but I would rather open my wallet to those who are deserving and appreciative of it.

IMO, her own money=$$ stolen from other family members and friends

This point is a red flag for me. I really do think that George and Cindy thought Casey was still working at Universal. I know they gave her money, but it would have been in the amounts of "extra", not only. I still think it's possible that Casey was an escort. For two years she had routinely left the house with Caylee, "going to work" and somewhere in all this, Cindy said that Casey hadn't been away for more than 2 days at a time. I just can't see Casey being maternal enough to entertain Caylee all day while she's faking work. 

She seemed to have a network of friends, and I think that she wouldn't if she had been stealing from them a long time.

Casey is a VERY artful liar, IMO. I can’t imagine anyone could have come up with a better story to tell than the lame one she came up with. Granted, it is as full of holes as a sieve, but while I was listening to the audio tapes, I realized that the story of getting jumped and Caylee being stolen in the face of threats, at least takes into account what she told police. I remember Cindy saying that Casey was “trying” to lead police close to the truth and that there was a reason she didn’t immediately call police, etc.

More than anything, I’m astounded at the size of Casey’s cahonies! She took them all the way to a building and right up to a door before she faced them and said she lied. I knew that but was amazed at her cool, collected self in the face of it!

One more thing: I noticed that when Casey was asked about her car, she volunteered and added that she did not “abandon” it there. There was no need to do that. She had explained that it had run out of gas. She also went on to say she had left a couple of notes on it that she was out of gas and would be back to pick it up. That’s pretty telling to me.
Either she did leave notes on the car (along with leaving the purse in the front seat) to draw attention to the abandoned car in hopes it would be stolen, or she again felt the need to embellish the story around the car.

Lexis Nexis search is a paid service used by most police departmets. It is out of Ohio. Could George still have access to this search engine from his days in the police department?

I am going to my son's football game today. One of the parents, a dad, works as a dective for OCDO. I haven't seen him there in a couple of weeks but he had been pretty open about the case a few weeks ago. I think because he is not working this case, he can talk about it.

I am going to ask him his theories and about the general feelings of the OSDO and what they think happened.  I will let you know, let's just hope he is there today!
