Casey has gotten away with a lot of lying in her time, I am sure, but one wonders if or how she expected to get away with the ones that she told the police.  For instance, when she walked them through the Universal Gate, into a building and down a hall, did she expect them to say at one point, "Okay, it seems clear you work here.  We can go now."  The cops don't work that way.  They check out everything.  They go right down to the nth degree.

When she spins her tales with all the little details, including middle names and addresses and ethnicity and all the rest, does it work on some people, like her mother and some of her friends?  Well, it will not work on the cops.  They will check out all those names and addresses, looking for anything that does not add up.  They do not just take her word for things.

Granted, most of us believe people.  If we ask someone, "Where do you work?" and she says, "Universal studios," we accept that as true.  But the cops are a different story. They check to make sure it is true.  That is what they do.

Casey is a chronic liar, and not a good one, when all is said and done.  When the cops really go at her, her lies are fall apart like crumbling cookies.  But then, her story could never hold water if anyone really started to check into the details.

The only part of the whole story that makes me wonder is that Cindy did not find out more about the person who supposedly was keeping her grandchild every day.  She is so nosy and so controlling and clearly knew how Casey lied and doubted that Casey would be a responsible parent on her own, and yet we are to believe that she accepted the Zanny the Nanny story and never asked to meet Zanny, never asked for an address, never asked for a phone number, just in case of an emergency.

You are right.  This has bothered me also.  Think about how many girls talk about their baby sitters and times they need someone else in the family to pick up baby because maybe they are running late or have to leave work to pick up baby early.  It just ring true that Cindy never had Zanny's number.  I just dont know

Cindy testified at the hearing that she had known about Zanny the nanny.  I just think it is odd that she would know nothing of her except the name.  I am not over-involved in my grandson's life.  He even lives in another town.  But I met both of his sitters and visited his pre-school once.  The sitter or nanny and pre-school teacher is such a big part of a child's life.  My daughter-in-law gave me their names, addresses and phone numbers in case there was ever a need for me to contact them.  One time, when we went over there, she asked me and my husband to pick up our grandson at the sitters.  Another time, I accompanied my son when he went to pick him up.  One sitter who kept him for over a year came to his birthday party.  It is just odd to the point of being unbelievable that Cindy, a true control freak, did not check out the nanny.

and I wonder what else was in the "Bobby" folder and sub folders ???  and being dumb what does "copy of"  mean ??

i dont think Bobby is a folder or subfolder I think its who owns the computer , you give it a name (so to speak) mine (computer)has my name in the Bobby spot, if that makes any sense. Hard to explain. We a computer wiz here. Anyone?

It's from one of Anthony's computers. bobby just the name they gave the computer when they bought it. Mine is mammas....you can name it whatever you want, usually something to differentiate files from someone else that might use the same computer.

Oviedo House again..pic of Casey and Caylee THERE

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Someone just posted a pic of Casey and Caylee walking on the myspace thread

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b4...ow/caylee1.jpg

Here is a link to the house on Lake Jessup Road in Oviedo. Click on the house pics..it is the SAME HOUSE. Judging by Caylee's appearance (hair, etc.) in comparison to the video of her on Father's Day, I think the pic is fairly recent. I strongly believed the wooded area behind that house needs to be searched. This is proof that Casey has been there and is familiar with that location (which has been vacant since APRIL)

OK, works for me now.

Casey's hair appears to be shorter.  I think this photo was right around Easter 08

Jan 2008 is the date I found for these pix on facebook

I can understand how Cindy MIGHT believe Casey was working at Universal Studios and not be able to know otherwise.  For instance, there is a security gate at Universal, so she could not drop by the office to visit her daughter and find out that Casey did not work there.  And with cell phones, she would not have to have a landline number for an office.  I can see her calling Casey and having Casey answer on the cell phone and claim to be at work.  Still, most people, even those with cell phones, will give a work number, too.  But I can see how Casey might hide the fact that she had been fired.

I also wonder why she did not claim that she had some sitter arrangements within the theme park, since they may have those.  Instead, she claimed to have a sitter outside the theme park, and that is what interests me.  Maybe everyone in the area knows, because so many people work for the parks, just what childcare is available or not available within the gates.  But then, Casey does not always tell the most convenient or believable lies.  Sometimes she tells such whoppers that anyone would be suspicious.

Everyone has stated that Caylee was very intelligent for her age, in my experience w/ my own children if they spend time w/ people on daily basis or even a few days a week they tend to talk about these people. If caylee was w/ Zanny or who ever else, you would think that she would have talked about her to someone. Tony's room mate seemes to have spent alot of time talking to caylee but he did not mention if Caylee ever said anything about nanny. Are there any interviews or statements available from anyone (not Anthony's) that might have talked to Caylee about daycare, nanny, or babysitter?

I know full well there was no Zanny the Nanny.  What I don't understand is why Cindy did not know that, too.  She seems the kind of person who would check on such things.  And if she lied about having heard of the nanny for over a year, that means she perjured herself on the witness stand at the hearing.  Because she claimed then to have known about the nanny named Zanny.

I have been reading so darn much that I am confused. Did Casey say they she left Caylee in the stairway at Sawgrass? Then she did not see Zenadia on that day, did she? And by the way, who leaves a 2year old anywhere near stairs????!!!!

she never had a reason to check because that story didn't exist until the cover-up began.

When a reporter asked Cindy if Caylee ever talked about Zanny, Cindy said, "She talked about her puppy all the time."  I thought that was an odd answer.  Why not say, "Oh, yes, she talked about Zanny a lot."  Instead she mentions a puppy.

Okay, Rob, we are getting to the same place here.

Cindy never heard of Zanny until Casey made up the story about the abduction.

That means Cindy started lying for Casey and even lied at the hearing when she was on the stand.

We have all known this, but it has to be proven, and I think this is one area where it can be proven.

Just think of all the glowing pictures of Caylee.  Caylee eating.  Caylee reading.  Caylee on holidays.  Caylee with all kinds of people.  But not one photo of Caylee with the person who supposedly kept her nearly every day for over a year.
