Nancy Grace: Possible 67 years with 13 total charges.

10 charges - the first time

3 charges - today

Could be 6 months or less for a first time offender!!

I watched Orlando's Fox news online tonight and saw a short interview with a released inmate. She was leaving the jail as Casey was being brought in today. She said that Casey never spoke and was shorter or smaller than she imagined, and added something along the lines of, "and I spent more time in jail for a $15 cab ride I did not pay for than she will for ...probably murdering her child."

I think this sums up our frustrations that Casey is getting some preferential treatment.

Does anyone else see a difference in the demeanor of Casey just in those three mugshots?  In the first, she seems to be in her little wide-eyed sex kitten pose, enjoying the attention and thinking, I can lie myself out of this, too.

In the second, there is defiance.  You are not going to break me.  I am hanging tough.

In the last one, she seems to have had a dose of reality splashed on her face.  This is not as much fun as she thought it would be.  The walls of her life are closing in.

Yes, I see those pics the same way. The last one, she has been beaten down a bit. But, I wager that she will NEVER break. NEVER speak the truth.

OOPS!
Thought you asked if she could be bailed out tonight! So sorry. Having a few drinks tonight for the first time in over a month.

Pardon me.

It appears that in Casey Anthonys first hearing on July 17th she was denied bond and ... was denied access with a child under 17 years of age.

When did the bond that was set at $500,000 come into play?

When it was revealed that Casey Anthony had contact with a 12 year old child ... why was the orginal bond not immediately revoked?

Is it any wonder that Casey does not believe that rules apply to her.  First there is her parents who are shielding her from the consequences of her actions and ... then it is the legal system.  Something is not right!

RAW VIDEO: Mother Denied Bond During First Court Appearance
A judge denied bond for Casey Anderson, the mother of a missing two-year-old girl Thursday morning saying that she was a threat to others. (7/17/08)

At the first bond hearing when she was denied bond, the no contact Baker's Act was mentioned.

It wasn't a stipulation on the actual 500,000k bond is my understanding. It's not listed as a condition on the bonding documents, Det. Yuri said when he was contacted when the whole 12 year old email incident came to light in the media.

TWO MONTHS TODAY since the 911 calls when Cindy reporting Caylee missing and ... so far only charges on an unrelated offence.

For crying out loud ... a three year old little girl is unaccounted for!!

Bet Cindy and George are secretly grateful for every day their precious daughter is out of that house and they do not have to cater to her needs, walk on eggshells and generally kiss her butt.

Yes, I know!
LE is doing what they can, when they can. This, I believe.
I hear you loud and clear, and your frustration has merits.
I just have to believe we have to be patient.
Casey will get what is coming to her.
I believe that.
And I understand your frustration, I share that.

Casey is very tiny, just 5' 1" and probably not weighing much over 100 pounds.

Technically she could get off on just probation minimum....67 years is the maximum and it's up to the judge...

So she could actually never serve one day?  OMG!!  Surely a judge won't let that happen since she is a chronic abuser of other people's checkbooks and credit cards.

If Casey goes to trial on the charges thus far, I think she will serve at least a couple of years.  The first judge did not seem very sympathetic to her.  Now we know a lot more about her dishonesty, theft, etc.

I doubt the next judge will fall for her act.
