I think the best way for police to make a possible break in this case is to arrest Cindy, Geo, and Lee on whatever charges they could bring, surely there is something.  If they don't crack, then they are way more screwed up than any of us can imagine

He was accusing NG of using the bond her out/put her back in jail method to get Casey to talk. He kept saying it was "waterboarding." Then NG said "News Flash! I'm sitting here in a studio in Manhattan. I'm not doing anything."

Just an update from this weekend.  We covered a lot of ground this weekend.  We had a turnout of about 15 people.  We are planning for next weekend and getting some more information together.  Regardless of the many rumors, we are not being arrested for searching.  Yuri Melich has assured me as long as we do not violate private property laws then we can continue to search.

-She went back to jail. Got out of jail. Held her lawyer's hand on the way out.
-Cindy talked with Tricia over at WS and told her their lawyers are going after web sites that call Casey, etc. bad names. 
-LE went to Cali to talk to LP, apparently to get witness statements about what Casey told them.
-Some bones were found near the Anthony home. Reportedly animal bones.
-JB was whining about LE having the audacity to charge his client. And we decided, well, she should stop breaking the law.

Oh  jeez.. suing the forum owner? WTF is wrong with these people.  Is this going to get their granddaughter back?

Cin and Geo are not getting very good legal advice from Mark Najame.  He should be telling those two to pony up so that they can be there in the end for their daughter instead of sitting in prison.  Cindy is definitely gonna be looking at a perjury charge at the very least.

The doctor suggested Casey may have been abused.

Nancy disagreed.

I heard the doctor suggested that Casey many have been hurt very badly.  I took that as being emotional.  Nancy accused the doctor of making excuses for Casey's behavior ... lack of conscience ... lack of emotion.

I suspect that Casey Anthony and Joran van der Sloot came from the same type of upbringing ... no physical abuse ... no sexual abuse but ... an upbringing where both sets of parents shielded them from taking responsibility for their actions ... actions that crossed the moral and legal boundaries established by a civilized society.

I contend that the outcome of this type of parenting resulted in young adults who have not learned how to feel true remorse.  In other words they have no empathy for anybody but themselves.

It makes matters every worse when Law Enforcement shields this type of personality from the full extent of the law when illegally wrongdoing occurs.

IMO.

You know, if Joran had never been there, not been allowed in there, because he’s underage and wasn’t accompanied by his father, the whole rest of the night wouldn’t have happened.

COSBY: You know, and, John, also, why would that be a significant—why is that in conflict to something else we’ve heard maybe from Paulus before?

KELLY: Well, he’s just claiming that, you know, he’s kept an eye on his son, you know, he’s kept him on a short leash, and, you know, his son is very well-behaved. And it turns out that he’s, you know, got him at casinos. If you’re under 18, you’re not legally even allowed in casinos, so his son was breaking the law with him enabling it.

Dana: One thing that makes my listeners scratch their heads so to speak and wonder, myself included and we'll talk about it again, is the fact of the underage drinking and gambling that had been going on admittedly by young van der Sloot.  Was there ever any discussion or has there ever been any discussion at least of filing some charges as far as that goes?

Jossy:  No, there hasn't been any of that. The authorities have just (inaudible) it aside, they haven't paid any attention to it then and they're not paying any attention to it now and over the past 26 months.   I haven't seen anything in the direction of trying to make some kind of statement that this is not (inaudiable) at least make some sort of a statement that this is not (inaubible) because it is a known fact that as an underage he wasn't supposed to be in the casino, much less in the company of his father. He was there, there are video tapes to prove that and still the authorities haven't done anything with regard to that specific case.

VAN SUSTEREN: What's he like? I realize you're his mother, but what's he like?

ANITA VAN DER SLOOT: Joran is a very outgoing person. He's a sweetheart. To me, he's very warm. We spend Easter vacation in Florida together to visit his school, and we had a lot of fun together, went to Busch Gardens (search), and he was getting me cups of coffee and making jokes. He's very outgoing, loving, caring, fights with his brothers all the time, but I think that's pretty normal. We cannot get him out of bed in the morning to go to school, but once he's there, he's doing great. He got picked up on the morning of his graduation. He graduated with honor, all As and Bs. He did some AP, advanced courses, physics, calculus, AP English.

VAN SUSTEREN: Any drug use or alcohol use by him?

ANITA VAN DER SLOOT: A hundred percent no. No. He is, like, Mom, I would not smoke or I would not use drugs because I am a sporter. I want to make something out of my future. If there would have been anything of that, I would have noticed. I'm a teacher. I work with kids between 12 and 18 years, the last 25 years. So you're used to so many things, problems that appear with your students. You're so alert. And I think you're even more alert with your own children.

VAN SUSTEREN: Any trouble from him at all? I mean, have you ever any trouble with him?

ANITA VAN DER SLOOT: No. A little fight with a friend that got solved by talking to the parents.

VAN SUSTEREN: Never arrested?

ANITA VAN DER SLOOT: Never arrested, no. No.

VAN SUSTEREN: Girlfriends?

ANITA VAN DER SLOOT: Yes, of course. I mean, there were two girlfriends in his life that he had a longer relationship with. One was an American girl, who left, who was part of the school, and she just sent an e-mail totally upset because she finished the relationship and she thought that Joran was too sweet, she needed a stronger man. And another girl was an Aruban girl and — a very sweet girl, came here at home. And that ended about — it was a year ago, and he was really serious. He said, Well, Mom, you know, I'm going off-island to study, so I need to focus more. And there was no really strong relationship.

VAN SUSTEREN: So how does he find himself in this? I mean, if this is a successful 17-year-old, soon to go to college on academic scholarship, why does he find himself sitting over in the jail?

ANITA VAN DER SLOOT: I'm sorry! Something he told me last night, that he still didn't believe it was true. And he said, Mom, don't worry, because I was crying and he was really hugging me. He said, The truth will come forward, and I know that I didn't do anything to the girl. And the truth will come forward. And he was so strong.
