I'm thinking that they did talk to this marine guy early on and have continued to.  Didn't Padilla mention several phone conversations between Hawkins and CASEy that the police are quite interested in when he was on NG last night?

I think OSCO are following up everything, crossing t's and dotting i's.  This is part of their thorough investigation. 

I agree. I also think that we're going to see a battle of the experts in court (think OJ trial). Jose is already gathering evidence from the farm, etc. to try to get expert testimony to dispute the findings, IMO.

Yes, the scientific evidence is going to be the key to this case.  With the FBI involved from the beginning and forensics done through their lab, I think Baez will have trouble refuting it.

I might be wrong, but I don't think two months (mid-July to mid-September) is very long for police to contact everyone of interest in an investigation. 

I'm not sure what you mean about believing what Padilla says.  I do think the police are very interested in what his female associate who was in the house has to say.

I guess they have had casey's phone records for a while.  their are calls between him and casey le was interested in (padilla states) I was just wondering why so long if they were that intersted.. Maybe he was off fighting or something.

I wonder if Baez will even take this case to court.  His own inexperience will be the problem.  However, it might lead him right to court, too!

Jose surely is being paid by the Anthony's, or at least he's got a whopping bill that they are responsible for. Without Cindy's paycheck, I don't know what they are doing financially. I wonder what Lee's salary is..........

Jose surely is being paid by the Anthony's, or at least he's got a whopping bill that they are responsible for. Without Cindy's paycheck, I don't know what they are doing financially. I wonder what Lee's salary is..........

I really think the 20/20 money went to Casey's bail and Baez's fees.  I don't think C & G have any money.  I'm sure Baez plans to write a book after he's done with this case and make his fortune.  He's working on expectations.  So, it's to his benefit to keep up the media circus and public interest.

I know that if you watch Cindy talk at the video of Caseys bond hearing she says, that she has taken time off from work...that her company told her to take as long as she needed to until this was resolved and then she said that george had just started his job as security for some company and that she wasnt even sure what he would be making.

From your post to God's ears, AZ! I'm counting on the lack of funds to keep the "top experts" off Jose's witness list. Not that they would unveil something other than the FBI, but we all witnessed the "drop of doubt, remotely possible" circus that existed in OJ's trial. The gathering of the evidence was questioned, yada, yada, yada...........

I'm also hoping that Jose isn't considering this high profile case his stepping stone to fame as a "dream team" lawyer, who can later demand outrageous fees.

I think you're right, CBB.  Experts don't testify for free.  I wonder how Jose is living now as he doesn't seem to have any other clients paying the bills.  He'll probably continue until his Visa runs dry.
