I didn't last night, and I still don't believe he had any involvement with the disappearance of Caylee

He also mentioned that the car seat was in the car. Which means that Casey was on the 27th without Caylee. So narrowing the timeline to the 24-27th means she could have decomposed in the trunk.
Maybe George retrieved the body from the trunk and made the dogs hit all over town.

I think Jesse is wrong about hearing Caylee on the phone the 24th.  Shoot, Casey could have been playing one of Caylee's videos in the background.  Casey could have staged it so Jesse would think he heard Caylee.

I believe that Leonard Padilla was just speculating.  However ... he seems to be basing his speculating on the outcome of the forensic testing inside the trunk of Casey's vehicle.

The only thing is ... the release from the Sheriff's office implies there was not a conclusion outcome to the forensic testing and ... the release did not mention DNA.

According to what I read, LP was speculating because he didn't understand how they couldn't determine if the hair was Caylee's or Casey's, except by process of elimination due to the post mortem band. And that isn't explained by a Lee/Casey or George/Casey connection, but easily explained away by mDNA, which is passed down from the mother. Which also means they must have found (or have not released if they found anything better than) a compromised DNA sample.

No immunity for Caylee's mom, prosecutor says

The sheriff's office in Orange County, Florida, now says that lab tests have confirmed that a decomposing body had been in the trunk of a car driven by Casey Anthony.

Investigators have called Casey Anthony, 22, a "person of interest" in Caylee's disappearance. She faces charges of child neglect, obstruction and making false statements in the case.

"[FBI] laboratory evidence, along with additional evidence that has not been made public, leads investigators to the belief there is a strong probability that Caylee is deceased," the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

"If any evidence to the contrary is provided, it will be vigorously pursued," the statement added.

Forensics tests confirmed there had been a decomposing body in the car, the statement said. Detectives disclosed at a July hearing the trunk contained hair samples appearing to belong to Caylee, a strong odor and suspicious stain that glowed under black light.

Padilla said that officials ruled it was Caylee’s hair just by a process of elimination because the hair had a death ring around it and they know Casey is alive. The fact that the DNA is identical has something to do with who the father is, Padilla said.

“Would the DNA from a child resulting from a union from Lee and Casey have basically the same characteristics? Making the preliminary DNA check not definitive as to who the hair samples are from,” he said.

Hadn't thought about it, but I would imagine that things would have been really different for Cindy as well!

Talked about moving out, yada, yada.....no mention of Caylee....so if this was a call in that flurry of calls, didn't sound like a panic call....maybe more of an alibi call?

OK,  Casey was at her house with her dad on the 24th without Caylee, so how could he have heard her on the phone??  What time was his phone call with Casey on the 24th???

yes, LE did contact most of us. And it has not impacted employment status for any of us. If casey was associated with al-queda... then maybe.

Absolutely! Remember that a poor woman who just looked at an apartment was fingered by Casey. There has been some thought put into a story, and Casey's a lot of things, but conniving has got to be near the top of the list!
