It is okay.  I know what I saw.  I did not dream this up.  Now saying that, I am not saying she is leaving a club, I am not saying anything other than I saw her or her twin leaving in a car and it appeared there are four people in the car and she did say what I said she said.  I assumed her friends were filming this and I remember thinking at the time; why is she alone with all men?  I do not know when this was filmed but it was.  It was when the story first broke maybe the second or third day of reporting.  I wish I had saved it just like the white car picture that was deleted.

Why is there so  little attention to the  Bonaire case  and 100 people on the Caylee Tread ? The Marlies vd Kouwe case is almost similaire with the NH case .

the majority of posters in the Caylee thread are not oldies...they are just little whipper snappers compared to some of us that have been for years.  I was the same way about the Natalee case when it started...I couldn't read enough.  The Caylee case is what brought them here and they will end up as we are eventually, but I suspect that Casey will go to jail and some form of justice will be served.  I can't say that about Natalee's case.

I think many monkeys simply are not aware of the Bonaire case.  I come and read and check there daily, as I do Natalee's thread.  Because I don't post as much here doesn't mean I'm not interested.  I am amazed sometimes at all the work that monkeys do here.  I think a lot of posters are not aware of Marlies case.  There isn't a lot of news about it.  I've found some monkeys that post in one area or thread for a long, long time without going to other areas on the forum.  In defense of  "little whipper snappers", some of them have done some good sleuthing, making maps, calls, research and etc.  We have some of what you could call oldies that are still whipper snappers, imo.     Thank you all for what you are doing.  I still believe there will be justice for Natalee.  (((hugs)))

I'm just not sure how someone accomplished that for Merian, in a password protected forum. He offered no explanation for that, when questioned. Actually, his answers to all questions were vague...

I have a question/observation/statement/ or whatever it is...

Armin Solognier posted lots of insider information about the disappearance of Natalee Holloway under the guise of Simian and Merian Ernest.  He came onto forums/blogs day after day and gave cryptic information about the details of Natalee's disappearance.  Perhaps the mysterious nature of his posts were for his personal safety, perhaps it was to protect Steve Croes, or perhaps it was for an ego trip or game.  Armin has had access to very sensitive information about the tragic disappearance of an American young woman.   Maybe his source of information is Steve, or maybe it's Uncle Rufo.  The bottom line is that Armin Solognier has information that could very likely solve Natalee's disappearance.  By withholding these specific details, Armin/Simian is preventing justice for Natalee Holloway and her killer(s) continue to walk free.

Why can't they just leave the island and tell what happened and dissapear into the crowds....wen I look at the huge amounts of people in big cities I think it would be very easy just to fade into them...so Natalee can come home!!

Lifetime

I saw the news posted prominently that the Lifetime Network is in production on a movie about Natalee and what happened to her.  And I wanted to add how wonderful I thought that was.  What happened to Natalee was -- and remains -- a travesty, and an affront to civilized people, wherever they may live.  I hope the Holloway/Twitty family has been able to find some measure of peace, knowing that Natalee remains unforgotten, and remembered by many.

The sloots can live in their own public prison, and the authorities on Aruba, and elsewhere who either actively aided and abetted the coverup of a murder, or  who stood by and silently watched as their comrades tortured the Holloway Twitty family, can now watch their island economy continue on its path towards destruction.  The Lord has determined that you all will be punished in this life, as well as the next.

I hope all the monkeys are well.  It's good to drop in and visit.  Best wishes to all.

Beth indicated that she felt a bit of closure after the shock and horror of listening to the Joran tapes.

I'd still prefer justice -- if there could be such a thing.

The announcement of the movie, Peter DeVries is planning another show, and there was talk about a second book by Beth....it won't stop anytime soon.

I wonder if anyone involved has realized yet how much easier it would have been to just tell the truth and do the right thing?

Are you referring to the pic posted on someones' 'MySpace' where a car was following Deepaks, with Natalee in the back seat, and the caption was 'bi*ch (or something similar?) I didn't see any movie, I just recall that pic, and like most who were following this case early on, my pooter crashed...but I do recall that a guy wouldn't call a pretty blonde a 'bi*ch', a jealous girl would...

I tried. I really did.
He was not real happy with some of the things he had read here and he was current on what had been posted about him. He said he would appreciate it if the borderline libel commentaries involving himself, his friends, and family would stop. I sent a list (compiled with the help of a few Monkeys) of Simian and Merian posts with quite a few questions. I told him I thought if he could answer the questions, it might put an end to all the speculation about his posts as Simian and Merian. He said he would be glad to answer any questions regarding his original posts.

Most he answered with I don't know, Not my comment, No clue, etc.
He said his posts were much less "prose" and more political. He stated that he did not have any direct information about the case; he was speculating like everyone else and was only relaying what he heard and read in local news reports.

Basically, the only thing of value that came from the exchange was the confirmation that he was Simian and he was Merian...

Thanks, VMS - When he was posting, he and Shango were so confident and assured about their information (almost to the point of arrogance) and they even got into a cat fight at one point.  It is certainly easy now that he has been exposed, for him to say, "I don't know".  Natalee remains without justice and I would hope that he and Shango both have enough of a conscience to do the right thing by revealing the truth.  Armin was certainly intent on protecting his cousin.  Who is protecting Natalee, the real victim?  If he is so concerned about borderline libel commentaries why did he play the game to begin with?  He opened himself up to the scrutiny of the world and now he portrays himself as a victim.  I have no sympathy for him and he needs to do the right thing by revealing the truth.  He certainly seemed to enjoy himself while he played with everyone who was concerned about Natalee Holloway.

That is the billion dollar question, Sharon, because Aruba has certainly lost that much, if not much more, by now. If I had a nickel for every time those assholes running the island have kicked their own asses for not handing over the Van der Sloots I'd be a millionaire. What misery they have wrought on themselves.

That post above by Pearl at BFN gives an interesting glimpse into how crime on the island has gotten even worse, most likely due to the loss of American tourist dollars due to their curruption and failure to bring justice to Natalee and her family. Hammer is right, they will live in a prison in this world and the next.

Hammer - sorry I missed your post earlier, great to see you and best wishes to you as well.  The Sloots and Aruba thought they could sweep it under the rug, that we would forget about Natalee....they were wrong.
