Johan, that is hard when a family is told not to speak to anyone and thank you for checking into things. Please tell the friend of Mr. van der Kouwe to tell Mr. van der Kouwe that we can send dogs who can scent Marlies' skin cells and who can track where she went, even if she was put in a car, the dogs can scent in what direction the car went for miles, can follow. They can scent where the suspect was with Marlies and where he was not, too, (IF the suspect was with Marlies). They can scent where Marlies went from her bicycle to where she is now. These dogs are not the same as regular search dogs. We also have other search assets that they are not using. They can check caves and detect if she was brought there or not more easily than people searching can. Tell your friend who is friend of the van der Kouwes that we can help find Marlies. That this is a non-profit organization. That we understand the need to come and work discreetly and not draw a lot of public attention for the sake of tourism.

who is this Jair ‘Ilo’ Leuteria ?

Escape from Bon Futuro prison

WILLEM CITY - With a retractable ladder of nearly 10 meters is around two hours last night the 24-year-old detainee Jair 'Ilo' Leuteria escaped from the Bon Futuro prison. By midday he was still in hiding, the police description has been circulated. Leuteria was in 2006 to eighteen years in prison convicted of a double murder that was committed in 2002.

Together with Leuteria tried last night, the detainees Rashandy Frank Shanley and Hay to escape, but they were the custodians in time be caught in the collar. The last escape from prison again dating from 2002. Thereafter were still trying but they could all be thwarted.
The escape was discovered by guards in the control room on one of the surveillance cameras saw movement in the southwestern wall. There was a retractable staircase against the wall and there were so-called flight lines cut. After the discovery hit the same staff and great alarm ripped staff both inside and outside the gates off. But upon arrival of the custodians showed Leuteria, probably with help from one or several people outside, to have already escaped.

Injured
The other two detainees were caught and are now in the strafhok. They will be questioned. All three were in Block 7A. Leuteria in cell 207, the other two in cell 104. Leuteria must escape with his injured. In Block 7A were found seven bars and three metal Louvre to have been sawn through windows. There are blood found on a white T-shirt that is left behind, and on the wall of the prison.

In any case, the escape have been prepared long in advance. Although the camera is not that covers the entire area and all angles. The cameras must always move back and forth. The prison management has long ago submitted a request for more camera surveillance. It will cost about half million guilders and would from the Safety Plan should be paid.

Leuteria was arrested in 2005 in the Netherlands. On October 5, 2002, he shot the then seventeen-year-old Edson 'Edchi' sambo, just before his house on Souax, in the chest. Sambo walked with a friend, Leander 'Fubu Ras de Jongh (20), when they were strongly driven by Leuteria and another occupant. Sambo drew a weapon, but Leuteria was quicker with his sambo and shot down. De Jongh was abducted by two.
Two days later his body was on the plain of San Pedro found. He was found by the head to be shot. De Jongh was drugskoerier, but his last journey was not successful. Kilos of cocaine, he had a few hundred grams printed backwards. After his abduction he was severely beaten, for he Leuteria and the Dominican Chavel 'Diablo' Water Fort in the trunk of a car was taken. Fort water is still on the run.

Does this mean that the relatives of the second suspect, arrested him?  The team just ran into the family?...or does it mean that the police actually arrested him and the relatives resisted?  TIA

Sorry SS, I did not see your post earlier, but the groups are listed in the post I wrote Johan. The dogs are scent specific search dogs, and are amazing at what they can do, honestly. They can find someone's scent up to 8 months after they went missing, despite weather. They can do different things than typical air scent dogs and bloodhounds.

Johan, thank you for all of the info and for helping to get info to Marlies' parents. Tell them we would send a photographer and camera for aerial photography, as well. This camera can "see" beneath the surface of the water, and also can "see" disturbed earth. THe photographic images are then analyzed by experts at VIASAR and are then sent immediately to the police if anything of interest is found in the images. The dogs will lead also to clues for if aerial search is needed. Normally, DEEMI's planes are flown for aerial imaging, but since Bonaire is so far away, the photographer would need to be flown by one of the police's or coast guard planes. Tell Marlies' parents that families can tell the police that they want us to come, it is called "Family Assist" for a family to tell police they want extra help in locating a loved one, and is commonly done. They can tell the police they want the team to come, and our team would work with the police on whatever the police wanted searched, as well as what the family wants searched.  These are resources that are not being used in Marlies' search and we would be glad to help find Marlies. If the police have black cars in mind, the dogs could tell if Marlies was in any of them.

Could tell if Marlies was in a house they suspect she may have been in, and if, when she was there, if she was alive or not. Could tell where she was brought after being taken from her bicycle. Could tell if she is in any of the caves. Could tell if any suspects the police may arrest, were with Marlies at various areas, such as when she was taken from her bike, or if she was put on a scooter and which suspect was on the scooter with her, etc.

Re-arrest on Bonaire

by John van den Heuvel and Bert Huisjes
Saturday, October 11: arrest the second suspect Bonaire no surprise
KRALENDIJK (Bonaire) - The police on Friday Bonaire has half suspect arrested in the investigation into the disappearance of 24-year-old Marlies van der Kouwe. Sources report that around the investigation.
By an arrest team to Bonaire a man arrested in the district Niki Boko on the island. It is the 19-year-old Siegmar Marchena, which under his nickname Kucho known on Bonaire.
The team fell into the family of the man. For the arrest of opposition was committed by relatives.
The house was immediately sealed off for forensic examination. Also were flown in sniffer dogs deployed at the site, where witnesses reported. At the end of the week was from Curacao have extra police arrest people and a special team flown.
The second suspect is a friend of Rayan P. They lived together in the same house. It is also still looking for a black car, which would have an important role played by the abduction of Marlies van der Kouw.
Siegmar by the police identified as a possible accomplice in disposing of the body of Marlies van der Kouw. It is assumed that they no longer alive.
It is three weeks ago that the apothekersassistente mysteriously disappeared on the island. She was drawn to the bike, just for her apartment. The ruling of the interim prime suspect Rayan Pieters was Thursday extended for another eight days.
To date, Rayan Pieters, who previously was convicted of kidnapping and rape, but admitted that he knew Marlies. He was also on the evening of disappearance in the neighborhood and he was there between them earlier "something" for cases.
The research on Bonaire is very complicated by the close family ties to the island. Only since this week it is possible to Bonaire to give anonymous tips by phone.

There is one Dutchman that thinks Rayan is being railroaded...like the security guards...

translated:

There is a new suspect arrested in Bonaire, for the disappearance of Marlies van der Kouw (Telegraaf reported). That surprised me nothing. In a message on the previously held Rayan P., who are still stuck, was something quite remarkable, but little attention has been given. Rayan was sentenced for rape, he was a whole night in the back with a wife of Czech origin. He had abducted and raped at various locations, from one beach to another. Only the next morning the woman was' liberated ': her husband was legally go find her and had the two in the car caught. A few days later the couple had done declaration.

It is not difficult to imagine what the defense Rayan was: he knew the woman for some time now, it was all done with her consent and perhaps at its initiative. But that is difficult to sell your spouse Antilles. But for that incident he was so years in prison, as' rapist '. And with such a criminal to become easily re suspect.

It is the second suspect, is the 19-year-old Siegmar Marchena, a good friend of Rayan P.: she lived in the same house. There are two possibilities: either the police continues on a track error, or there is something more going on with that Rayan P.
