Klaas, I'm not sure if this is what Carpe is looking for, but it's in text format.

Even though Cindy, when speaking of her daughter, said “she will get the mother of the year award for what she’s done for Caylee,” few appear ready to cast such a vote for Casey at this time. Cindy has alternated between blaming the media for her missing granddaughter to blaming some unidentified gang of kidnappers. Cindy Anthony continues to pour out her daughter’s unsubstantiated story that Caylee is being held by kidnappers and that Casey can’t tell all she knows as it would further endanger her daughter.

IF
she was kidnapped. They would have let her go or kill her by now (or sell her) because they have heard the news---NOBODY HAS ANY MONEY TO PAY RANSOM!

Banana Cream Pie all around on me, thanks for all the replies. The story inside the paper is incredible. The mother told the police "While they ate a picnic lunch beside the road a man jumped from a car and attacked her. She screamed, so the man pushed her away and seized the two children, one under each arm and ran into the woods. (but first turned to hand her a script). She followed but couldn't find any trace of them. After searching for a while she gave up and returned to New York City. While she wove this FANTASTIC TALE, detectives were questioning Jimmy (son) whose account of the tragedy was much more coherent after a nights sleep." The boyfriend's name is George to cap it off.

Cheerio - I wonder if Casey could have read about this one the Internet.  Grabbing the kids and handing her a script is really incredible.  It's exactly like one of the versions of Zany in the park.

SS Thanks for the info on the SSDI. I didnt know that. I can say its been an excellent resource in doing geneaology so I use it often.

So not finding him there might means maybe  hes still living, was self employed,or never recieved SSDI benefits.

It may imply that Cindy/George and/or the credit card companies may be forced to file charges but ... if somebody fraudulently puts charges on a credit card ... is the owner of the credit card not reimbursed?

That is my understanding in regards to my Visa.

Janet

I brought this over from the previous thread.

JC Penney cards can be used at CVS drugstores and Sears cards can be used at KMart. Maybe there's some things on the cards that whoever had access to them needed for the crime?

You can file a complaint if your card was used by someone else. The bank will do an investigation, look at videos etc before they reimburse you.  Maybe they were afraid what they would see?

Did anybody else catch this in interview #3 with Cindy?  She and the two detectives, Melich and Edwards, I believe, shift around and switch seats so that she can be closer to the calendar as they go over dates.   Melich picks up her purse and puts it on the table and says something to the effect that he didn't want her to leave without it as it was kind of hidden under the chair she had been sitting in.  Get this huge implication......

Cindy:  "Women don't leave their purses in cars or other places."

Edwards; "Naahhh....sometimes it happens"

Cindy:  "Noooo, not usually"

When you hear her tone, you know exactly what she means.   (Casey couldn't have been the one to have left the purse and/or car at the Amscot.)

I just want to throttle these people.   I could, too.  I'm pretty buff for a "girl".   LOL!  I kid.
