Yard Signs

I've seen a few yard signs, and found them curious...

I've seem more "McCain" signs (before and after Palin) than I can count...

I've seen one "Barack/Biden" sign...

I've seen one "Barack/Biden" homemade sign...

And, I've seen one homemade "Barack/Biden/BinLaden" sign... 

Do Democrats have signs this year?  Or, is this just a Republican thing?

I think you have to pay for them this year.  Not sure, but that is what I was told, that it incumbent on the individual who wants a sign to order them, another way of making money for the campaigns.

I'm in Maryland and drive thru Eastern shore Virginia monthly and have seen more Obama/Biden there; too my surprise.  In Maryland where I am I see McCain more, but being a pretty democratic state that won't tell you much.   I see lots of bumper stickers, again more McCain, we had an article in the Capital Newspaper last week(AnneArundelCounty) about the lack of Obama stickers and the Dem office said they can't keep them stocked!?  I personally don't want my house egged or my car keyed.

I've seen a few more of the homemade Obama signs, at least a dozen of the printed signs in yards.  I've also seen an Obama cap and one t-shirt.

I've seen many McCain signs, more than Obama, and a mug.

Someone told me that they're printed vast quantities of Obama buttons, demand is high, but I've not seen ANY displayed in public.
