Thank you Klaas. It actually looks like whole blocks of texts are blacked out. The ones that aren't don't show any #'s or anything. So I wonder if the ones that are blacked out have to do with the dates in question. Curiouser and curiouser.

I am going through Amy's text messages and can anyone tell me why big blocks of her messages are blacked out? I wonder why that is. Certainly it's not because of expletive content. They've showed everything else.

I haven't read through them but I know they were blacking out personal information like phone numbers, addresses, ss numbers, etc.

I have the original Amy text messages downloaded onto my PC from before the numbers, etc, were blacked out... is there a specific date or time that you can say that is blacked out and I can see if I have that text on the copy that I have?

Really weird! Anyways it just occurred to me that maybe the parts that are blacked out are to other people other than Casey. That makes total sense. Solved I guess.

  Hi Monkeys! For everyone who believes this was premeditated, and I'm one of them,  wouldn't one of the most important parts of your plan be "what to do with the body". So it is really curious that Casey allowed the decomp to become an issue. Since she is so elaborate in her deceptions, I would think she would have the final resting place all buttoned up. So maybe it isn't premed. So curious. A search for chloroform is just too severe if you want to knock a baby out. She could have ground up some Tylenol PM. Around and around we go...

Hey there monkeys. Do we know what was originally in that corner of the Anthony yard? I can't see her just placing the body out in the open in mulch. Something had to have been covering it up. I think maybe it was in the playhouse or sandbox. Do we know exactly where the cadaver dogs hit in the yard? Sorry, so many questions.

Hm... interesting... I only have parts 1 & 2 - they go up to line 1129.  They end on 7/22/08, the texts that I have.  But it looks like some of the blacked out ones on the 2nd part are not blacked out on the copy I have.  I am going to print them and see what I've got....

Maybe she planned it and going through with it was another thing entirely. She did the deed and her brain froze. Just thinking out loud. With Casey, it is impossible to apply logic or to ascribe emotion. Sigh. Confused myself again.

So I'm thinking... let's say she did have a plan... but then something happened and threw a monkey wrench (sorry) in those plans. She had to have a good idea of what to do with Caylee's body. Cold as that may be. But something must have happened to change direction.

It has been 71 days since Caylee Anthony was reported missing. Detectives believe she's dead.

Documents have already been released of what some of the men in Casey's life have said, but Thursday's audio recordings reveal how they said things and hear their attitudes.

That's possible, but why did she start by placing the body in the backyard? If she had a plan, wouldn't she place the body in the trunk and take it away immediately before decomp and smell? It is so confusing that certain things point to premeditation and others away from.

I agree, BT.  I think she's used to taking the easy way out.  Lie about this and that, take money and credit cards from parents, stringing along boyfriends. 

Frankly, I think the reality of decomposition surprised her.  Sorry if this is gross, but I don't think she thought it through enough to know that.  I don't think she went, "Okay, in two days, I'll need to move the body because of the odor.  In two more days, I'll need to account for fluids leaking."

Seriously, at that age, I'd been to like two funerals in my life, and that's just not the same thing as an unembalmed body out in the elements.
