Why does Bozo want Casey present during some of the depositions?

   Hi Trimm.
I'm really surprised KC would want to face some of these people and sit at the same table with them.
I got a feeling it is just to cause more delays.
Hey Sassy!
You are probably right. She wouldn't want me sitting at the same table with her.

And didn't bozo say something about how KC doesn't recognize some people who are on the State's witness list?

hmmm.   The defense has a taped statement by David Lohr that the State hasn't gotten.   Did I get that right?

this hearing ended like a cliff hanger on a tv series with Perry telling the state to file a motion if they have proof the defense is withholding evidence and then he added something to the effect of "woe to anyone that breaks the rules".

09/27/2010     Status Hearing  (1:30 PM) (Judicial Officer Perry, Belvin, JR)
09/27/2010     Motion
to Test for DNA Evidence
http://myclerk.myorangeclerk.com/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=6236234

I'm gonna go out on a limb here..... and say Bozo will ask Judge Perry to address this motion today at the staus hearing.....in his usual special way.....uhmmm, uhmmm

oh yea.....Bozo slipped in the motion. He didn't even have a copy for the judge, yet he only filed it this morning. What a jerk!

you have been following this case too closely, now you can accurately predict what the defense will do before they even know it.

LOL.....clowns are so predictable!!

Good Afternoon Monkeys!

I lol when Bozo asked for his client to be present at the depos of the jail folks. JP just says...what are the rules? Bozo goes on about his client doesn't know some of the people and she could help with identity. JP says What are the rules? Bozo quietly says , client aren't allowed at depos....like a dang little kid caught in the cookie jar.
He and Mason are such asses and I think JP is getting fed up in a hurry.

If I understood what he was mumbling about it was to ensure Kc would recognize who each person was.............
I loved that JP asked him what the RULES said....LOL

Wonder who is paying for this lab to be set up in the US within the next month. Who is financing this abortion.

Hi Monks.
Missed most of this bec. I was at work.
It's insane that he's trying to get the court to believe that a lab will be set up in 30 days.
It takes months just to get inspected.
Even more hilarious that he even entertained the notion that JP would even consider sending samples out of the country.
Bozo and Buffoon are off their rockers.

So I guess she's not worried about having to face the jail buddies because they'll be in chains, too.      What a crazy mess.

Casey Anthony's Lawyers In Court For Status Hearing
Posted: 10:52 am EDT September 27, 2010
Updated: 2:51 pm EDT September 27, 2010

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Lawyers in the case against Casey Anthony were in court Monday afternoon. Casey is not required to attend Monday's status hearing.

Jose Baez spoke first in front of Judge Belvin Perry Jr. about rescheduling expert witnesses in the case. Judge Perry allowed Baez to reschedule seven expert witnesses.

"The folks that you listed will be extended until 19 of November," said Perry.
slideshow http://www.wftv.com/slideshow/news/25179764/detail.html
Some of the experts include computer and cell phone tower and record experts.

Judge Perry seemed frustrated when the issue on expert reviews came up. Perry told Baez that the bottom line is the experts' reviews should be completed by October 31.

Perry also asked how many witnesses that are not law enforcement still needed to be deposed. Baez replied 12, including the ones not listed by the state.

Some of the witnesses Baez listed included former jail inmate Robyn Adams and state prisoner 21-year-old Maya Derkovic, who knew Casey Anthony in jail.

Derkovic is a convicted killer. She said she met Casey in the Orange County jail. Derkovic reported details of her whispered conversations with Casey to detectives; the two used to talk in the jail through an air vent.
Also mentioned was former friend of Casey, Amy Huizenga, who Baez said will testify on the activities that took place between June and July of 2008, and is complainant of Casey's check charges.

Jose Baez said his team has 70 recently listed people and only want 18 for deposition.

When the issue of DNA evidence came up, Judge Perry made it clear that testing needed to stay in the U.S.

"I will not be authorizing evidence to be shipped outside of the United States," Judge Perry said.

"We can have it tested in the United States, we just want our experts to be the ones that test it," Baez stated.

The status hearing Monday wrapped up at 2:50pm.

Last week, the defense scheduled another 14 depositions in the case. They also questioned scientists from the Tennessee lab that found traces of decomposition in the trunk of Casey's car.

Recently, three lawyers joined lead attorneys Jose Baez and Cheney Mason. They are Ann Finnell, a Jacksonville attorney and expert on the death penalty, Dorothy Clay Sims, an Ocala attorney who specializes in cross-examining medical experts, and Charles Greene, an Orlando attorney who will handle Casey's civil case.
