Good morning, Monkeys!  A question for you all....If Caylee's remains were not at the site during the TES search on Suburban, THEN WHERE WAS SHE?
Well.....if you look at the evidence, that we know of, she was always there.......if you are the defense......she may have been at Blanchard Park, even though it was throughly searched, where Caylee was abducted by Zanny and Samantha. Or Maybe she was in Tx with the holder of the photo of Caylee and Zanny at JBP.....or she was in Atlanta.....
Or Puerto Rico...
I was just trying to get into the mind set of the Defense.  (And trust me, it's a dark and scary place!)  Where do they think she could have been?  Do they have to come up with a reasonable explanation for their reasonable doubt?  It seems to me that they would have to have a compelling story...Or are they just able to run their little game without any accountablility or rationality?
I really like this question, because I'm looking at this from the defense side and what they are going to present, and I really believe that the searching part is going to be a big part of their defense, thus causing reasonable doubt. And again I have to say, just hope one or more jurors don't buy this.
It seems to me that they tried via Todd Maca-lose his-license-to-practice to say that the remains were put there when Casey was in jail, so it PROVED that she couldn't have done the murder.  The problem is that it only could prove that she didn't put Caylee's remains there, NOT that she didn't kill her.  Is it just me, or are they really thinking a juror would be too stupid to connect those dots?

IMO that is what the defense is banking on, a juror or two buying it.

I dont know who the woman is other than a poster at websleuths but I wrote mark since I have him on my email list from  FB!
here is his response to my asking him if they can do this!!

Hi Katie,

Thanks. Some people were known outside the review and have appeared in the prosecution discovery.

As such, they would have been given to the defense by the prosecution in accordance with Florida

discovery rules.  Also, the 32 searchers and all the groups that were with the 32 were released long

ago.  As such, it’s likely the person contacted was on one of those forms.

Without specific names there is little I can do. If someone lets me know their identity and it can be

established that a violation occurred with the defense, than action will be taken.  However, not

knowing which person was contacted and how they came to be contacted makes it rather impossible

to evaluate the situation without more.

We know it’s frustrating but no identities have been made public to my knowledge.  The defense

appears desperate and are attempting to show that the area wasn’t underwater.  I believe that

the abundant witnesses who know otherwise are letting that be known. The prosecution is aware

of the defense’s position.

Please remember though that Judge Perry was clearly heading in the direction of opening up the

full files to the defense.  In an effort to redirect that and to avoid the probability of a point of appeal

or request for a new trial, we work towards the settlement which is in place. It’s not perfect, but it

does seem to provide the best protection for public confidentiality to the searchers and halt the

defense from appealing as to this point.

As always, thank you  and all the others for their compassion and support. This tragedy has

touched so many and hopefully the truth will prevail.

Warm regards,

Mark

Zahra Baker case: Stepmom confesses to writing ransom note, case goes to homicide

Posted on October 12th, 2010 by Valhall

Elisa Baker has confessed to writing the ransom note found at the Baker residence on Saturday during an “emergency call” pertaining to a “mulch fire”.  Then she got a lawyer and clammed up.  She is now facing felony obstruction of justice charges.  The original Amber Alert has been cancelled and police chief Adkins has announced the investigation is moving from a possible abduction to a homicide case.

I will tell you that on the day that Caylee was found, I was watching it live and media interviewed a young man who had been on the TES search team that covered that specific area.

The young man was beside himself and he stated to the media that he and his dog had searched that area as part of a team - but had not been able to go back as far as Caylee's location because it was underwater and he feared for his dog's safety.  He was very clear that no one on the TES team had ventured that far back into the water.

I remember this specifically - I will try to search for the news report and bring it back here if I find it.

thanks jill...this is IMO all a smoke screen...they have no defense so they think they can confuse the facts.....in the end....the facts will remain the same.

Caylee Anthony case: Question concerning Laura Buchanan/TES documents

Posted on October 12th, 2010 by Valhall

it looks like the first form was filled out and for some reason it was copied and the second form was the one used....I noticed additional names on the second form and one the first Blanchard was misspelled, crossed out and rewritten....

Good morning, Monkeys!  A question for you all....If Caylee's remains were not at the site during the TES search on Suburban, THEN WHERE WAS SHE?

Hi Monka.....they haven't thought that far in advance....they are so stupid to think someone went and dug her up and tossed her in that swamp just to frame Kc....they think people are stupid

Sunny, good luck for them on that one.

Even the small amount of documents released to the public show that the evidence proves she was there all along.

hi jill....yep the evidence point so Kc and no one else...so let them spin all they want...it won't do them one ounce of good

nrcg, I don't see what you see.....the searching has done nothing for them....they have Joy Wray....yep she is a really reliable witness, JJ...ooopssss he has changed his mind since he first searched, and LB....a proven liar......I can't see one juror taking their word over the facts....and over all the others who will testify as to the area being underwater....

Thanks Sunny, her first mistake was letting him in her house, if she wanted to talk to him, they could have done that outside on the door step. The defense is going to use the searching and the people all involved to cause reasonable doubt, and lets hope nobody buys it. But wouldn't be shocked if one of the jurors would

hi nrcg..............I couldn't believe she let him in either and was shocked at the visit...no follow up call, no call to make an appointment, just appear on the lady's doorstep....

So foolish to let a stranger into the house anyway!

Yep....that was a shock for me....even with an ID how could she be sure he was who he said he was?  He would have gotten my NO's through a locked storm door

Is that even legal to show up at someone's door?
I thought all they were allowed to do is make their little phone calls.
Letting him into the house was the wrong move.
I would have said I'm calling the cops.

hi Curly....not according to D, in the order, the defense can proceed without judicial approval based on the answers given on the phone:

Monka, I really do believe they think they are so much smarter than anyone else, that they can convince a juror that the dots don't connect.....but they should never underestimate a jury.....especially where a child murderer is involved.....anyone who murders a child is a monster...but that monster grows into a super monster when that person is the child's own mother

I hope you are wrong too.....
I'm looking at it as a juror, and not a person who has read so much about the case. And so much we have read isn't going to be allowed into trial. And one thing I do have is faith that the State is going to do everything in their power to prove their case, unfortunately that doesn't mean the jury will see it that way. I'm going crazy trying to imagine the defense's case, this sure will be an interesting trial.
