Would someone please explain the connection here to me...I must have missed that conversation.

What connection?

Simeon something.

Just because there is a city in Aruba with the name of Simeon and we were thinking maybe Simeon/Shango picked his name because he lives there?

He spelled it Simian.  I always thought he took that moniker b/c he was posting at S. Monkeys.

The simians (infraorder Simiiformes) are the "higher primates" very common to most people: the monkeys and the apes, including humans. ~Wikipedia~

I get Leslie's idea, too....it's very possible.

Also, on that map....further north of the hotels is an area in the caribbean that says Arashi Underwater Park....I presume that's where the excursion in the submarine may go????  Seems odd, considering our discussions about the Arashi witness and the possibility of Natalee being put in the water near there....just thinking....(sorry had to drop off earlier...this computer is family shared, so I had to give in for a bit.. Wink )

Using a bookcase sans shelves to transport a body is less messy than a blanket but more than one person has to carry it.  And the wood and wood particles in a cheapie bookcase are easy to burn.

From the new statement:

"On your question if I know the man nicknamed “G” or “J”, who is regularly at the Holiday Inn hotel, answer I you no"

Wasn't GVC's nickname "G"?

Well, plus if it were "boxed up" it would be easy just to take it to the landfill.

Sunfreak2, your research is well accepted.  My observation tonight was a 'fwiw'....just something that I felt I should mention.....but how bizarre that primates & locale have similar names, regardless of spelling.  This case is so mind boggling....

Yep.  I'm sure that's who they were alluding to.

I was recalling the heated discussions of the Dana delivery of dog food versus a bookcase and thinking of why anyone would get so annoyed about a simple piece of furniture.  The timing of this delivery was during a suppossedly high stress period when Joran was first arrested and when Paul was not actively employed.  Buying a bookcase during that timeframe seemed odd.

Yes, it did seem very odd..unless of course it had been ordered long before and just came in.  But still, the entire thing odd.

Just asking:
A dead body with rigor mortis would not be bendable and would have to be tranported laying flat.

I believe after a certain amount of time the body isn't stiff.  I'll look it up.

Rigor mortis lasts about 72 hours.

Rigor mortis is a temporary condition. It generally appears during the first day after death and then gradually disappears over the next several days as the proteins in the muscles begin to decompose. The timing of these stages will be influenced by a number of factors such as the cause of death, the person's physique, and the surrounding environment, so it is not possible to make precise generalisations

I didn't know that, I thought that rigor mortis happened hours after death and it was permanent.  There must have been a span of time between knowing that death had occured, deciding how to dispose of the body and actually doing it.   (It is really hard to type this.)
Therefore, the body might have been in a very unflexable state.
I wonder how people transport and bury their animals at the pet cemetary - do they use a wooden box or a garbage bag?
