This may be the explanation for the missing 15 minutes prior to leaving for CnC's on Sunday night.  Once the Kalpoes arrived they claimed to be waiting for Joran to complete his school work.  Knowing what we know now that seems rather unlikely, and in fact a false alibi.  My instincts tell me there is more to the story in terms of the time period prior to departure to CnC's.   A couple theories come to mind;

A. When the Kalpoe's arrive, Joran is at Freddy's to retrieve the camera...
B. The 3, J2K all go to Freddy's either by foot or vehicle...
C. Freddy is at Joran's preparing the video equipment for that particular night.

I tend to lean towards C myself for the time being.  

Thoughts?

SK 6/24 statement: "...The second time was when Joran, my brother and I took the camera to Freddy’s house. We delivered the camera to Freddy, and afterwards all four of us ate Chinese in the area of Freddy’s house..."

Hhhhmm.

I would suspect delivery to Freddy (who knows all stories) is to destroy the movie & would bet deepak kept an insurance copy.

This camera hand-off event would have happened 5/31 - 6/8.  Why do k2 have Freddy's camera, and why is there a need to return it as part of "suspect statement"?  There is a reason why k2 have Freddy's property.

If k2 left the scene on 5/30 at 2:00am, how do they have freddy's camera -- and freddy has not yet appeared on scene?

Obvious thing here is that the relevance of the camera to the case is not exposed in the statements at hand.  It's been discussed at large here.   The date range makes sense...just wish the officers had the skills to nail the specifics.

Well said 2NJ, I agree completely.  It appears as though this camera issue may have been the topic of previous interrogations of witnesses/suspects.   Certainly if this were the first mention of the camera there would have been relevant discussion in the interviews.  

This is the first concrete reference to a potential video or pictures I have seen.  It also seems to provide some credibility to all the speculation regarding a potential video.  We should review all past references knowing what we know now.
