I found this at JCPenney:  any chance she bought a replacement?????  Isn't this the same one she had in the backyard?
http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=52440&CatID=64064&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=14ff549&attrtype=&attrvalue=&CmCatId=52440|52470|64064
I was talking about the sandbox.
what if she had initially put her in the sandbox, temporarily?  then bought a new one to replace it? that would be incriminating stuff Cindy wouldn't want to come out.

Nice catch! PLAUSIBLE!
But she would have to sneak it in, it's pretty big.  When????

What if you backed into the garage when your parents weren't home.  Maybe you need to borrow a shovel from a neighbor to level the ground or to shovel the sand out of the old one.
If she had caylee in the sanbox the sand would be evidence..Would this sandbox fit in her car? I guess she could have moved it with tony's or cindy's..I think tony stated she borrowed his car while he was still in town to get something to eat or something..

Size of the sandbox:

sandbox: 38½x32x15½"H

Should fit in the back of the car with the back seat folded down.

So maybe that's what George was digging around the yard for, because there was sand where it wasn't supposed to be.

Oh Klass,

This is the "Masterpiece" of all the Anthony generated artwork.  It's no less funny now than the first time I saw it.  Thanks for the laughs!!

I e-mailed Joseph Jordan about Wyatt and here is his response to me...

I don't know anything about Wyatt's background, he seems harmless... I can tell you he has been searching since the beginning with me and has taken a lot of his time to do these searches.  He just happened to go with Gale and I went with TES.  Stephanie is a friend of mine as well.  Stephanie is sometimes vocal, but overall a good person.  I like both of them, they have never done me wrong.  I know everyone doesn't always get along.... but they are both dedicated to this case in their own ways.  And you can share my feelings about this.  I have no problem with that.  Two very integral parts of this case for sure.

I can't imagine that she would be able to lift and move that sandbox without help.  I think this theory definitely must involve an accomplice...which I've never heard confirmed or denied for sure.

One thing I've been wanting to explore was the mystery of the June 9 originally told as the day she went missing.  I think this date was implanted in Casey's brain because on that date in Blanchard Park, a jogger was killed.  I think she picked up that date (never perhaps even knowing of the video that was taken on Father's Day) as the day she would give as Caylee's "abduction."  Then her discovery in Blanchard Park would not be such a major surprise but could be linked in the public's eye to the murder of the jogger.

Actually, I think she's the one who got the date started incorrectly not Cindy with the "I didn't know the date of Father's Day," etc.

Subsequently, I think if her family didn't know before, they knew the minute LE pointed out the date of Father's Day.  That's when I think Casey's family had confirmation of foul play...

Okay my husband has worked with cars his whole life and he says:

Yes the sandbox would fit WITHOUT the seat folded down. He says he thinks the trunk is about 40 x 48 x 20

OR maybe she was just dumb enough to throw away the box to the sandbox in the dumpster at amscot not thinking anyone could tie it to her.

She's just that dumb

Ok, but where would she put the sandbox with Caylee?

Okay, one more thing about the sandbox.  The dogs hit in the backyard, near the sandbox, IIRC.  I wonder if that sandbox would have fit in her trunk with the seat laid down?  What if she'd been in the backyard long enough to start to decompose too badly to lift her from it?  She would have had to take the entire sandbox.

I always thought that when she borrowed the shovel it was to remove the sand from the sandbox, not to dig a hole.

Out4Bull - also interesting that there are soil samples being evaluated. Those sample could certainly include sand.

Oh, my...now I see where all of you get such cute monkey faces for emphasis!

I have been reading for some time and easily decided that I wanted to join your group!  You seem to mix just the right amount of levity with the seriousness of the board.  Plus, I love your stream of consciousness rather than all that structured topic stuff where people refrain from speaking because they are afraid they are not in the right place.

Sorry, Klaas, I couldn't find your gender to properly address this but could you stick an avatar for me?  I wouldn't step on anyone's toes as I'm just butting in here but I haven't seen a Garfield in the days I've been reading.  If that is available, may I have it?  If not, would you just choose something that's not too frou-frou?

I like many of you have been "consumed" by little Caylee.  From the very first, I have been mesmerized by her soulful eyes.  In the earlier days (when I first started my detective work...lol), I changed from day to day on whether she was still alive.  Unfortunately, I now only occasionally have a glimmer of hope and even it is dimming.

When I first heard of the JCP connection, I entertained the thought that she might have bought a special dress for her burial.  I realize this seems "out there" but she always dressed Caylee so stylish...I thought perhaps she might have dressed her up.  Rather than a suitcase, I thought of a foot locker or trunk.  It would be about the right length for a toddler.  Plus, you are right, Penney's has a sports department and you can but weights, etc.

If this latest discovery is Caylee, I hope the rope was a marker so that she could be retrieved for a proper burial.  Guess we'll never know but I did hear this water described as a "river" so perhaps the rope was to secure it.

I've talked too long so I'll quit but I'm so glad to be able to have a voice...lol

Welcome, DR! You can have the garfield, and I'm sure Klaas will get it up and going for you.

Maybe a replacement sandbox and used the shovel for the sand?
