I heard on one station, there are more than 20 LE alone, let alone, all the friends of Casey, etc....   I'm under the impression, there are ALOT!

I know they have many for the trial but I think that they've tied this together so well that it will only take a few witnesses to move it forward.  Then at trial they will present them all if needed.  This grand jury's term is ending and I don't know if the prosecution can extend their service.

Does anyone else feel that the judge is going to allow Casey to search "privately" with her attorney and the bondsman?  I guess I feel that he will since it is something he taking under advisement.  I can see her trying to flee and I would not put it past Baez to help her out.  He seems to be very emotionally invested in Casey.

Lisa
Two things are going to occur here. First, the judge will deny the request for the search. Second, she will be arrested after the indictments by the Grand jury are handed down  and will be unable to search even if the motion is granted.

MURT

Murt - I agree!  do you think she's be arrested on Tuesday or Wednesday?

I sure wish I knew... I would take the day off!!!
More than likely, Casey will be arrested by the end of the day Wednesday. It depends on  how quickly the process of revoking her bond and making the actual arrest can be accomplished.

MURT

Is a grand jury that fast ????  I thought it would take weeks????  Nice to meet you Murt !!!!  Hi Dana;  Love your show !!
Tuesday is the last day of the current term for the Grand Jury. They either hand over an indictment or the SA has to go before the new grand jury and start the process all over again.

MURT
Thank You...thats what I forgot about they are at the end of their time...Yes It will all be done in a day...

the witness list given to the media had about 85 people on it.

The grand jury will not be speaking to all of them.

It will simply be a handful of people testifying on Tuesday.   As few as possible.

Is the State going for murder one?  If indicted on murder one, is there bail?

We think so, but they cannot say because of the secrecy of a Grand Jury hearing.

There is no bail for Murder 1.

Is that county celebrating Monday (Columbus Day) as a state holiday?  (It varies around here from county to county.)

I thought the list given to the media was just the witnesses for the case.  I doubt if LE would use all of them for the GJ.

Mytime - not enough!

Murt - ok, so you think Wednesday...makes sense
MURT - If they indict her, why would they have to revoke her bond.
SHe would be indicted for a murder charge be it First degree or manslaughter. These are capitol crimes that do not allow for bail.

I was wrong, according to this article 11 woman are on death row for this crime:

A look at the rolls of women who are currently on death row, and the crimes that put them there, shows that women who kill their children are indeed not as rare as we would like to believe. Of the 49 women on death row, 11 killed children:

Patricia Blackmon was 29 years old when she killed her 2-year-old adopted daughter in Dothan, AL in May 1999.
Kenisha Berry at age 20, covered her 4-day-old son with duct tape resulting in his death.

Debra Jean Milke was 25 when she killed her 4-year-old son in Arizona in 1989.

Dora Luz Durenrostro killed her two daughters, age 4 and 9, and her son, age 8, when she was 34 years old in San Jacinto, California in 1994.

Caro Socorro was 42 years old when she killed her three sons, ages 5, 8 and 11, in Santa Rosa Valley, California in 1999.

Susan Eubanks murdered her four sons, ages 4, 6, 7 and 14, in San Marcos, California, in 1996 when she was 33.

Caroline Young was 49 in Haywood, California when she killed her 4-year-old granddaughter and 6-year-old grandson.

Robin Lee Row was 35 years old when she killed her husband, her 10-year-old son and her 8-year-old daughter in Boise, Idaho in 1992.

Michelle Sue Tharp was 29 years old in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania when she killed her 7-year-old daughter.

Franic Elaine Newton was 21 when she murdered her husband, 7-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter in Houston, Texas. Update: Executed on September 14, 2005.

Darlie Lynn Routier was 26 in Rowlett, Texas when she was convicted of killing her 5-year-old son.

Teresa Michelle Lewis killer her 51-year-old husband and 26-year-old step son in Keeling, Virgina when she was 33 years old.

Korbin says there are usually clues that are obvious to those around parents who end up killing their children. "Prior to a homicide, lots of lay people know these men and women are having difficulty parenting. The public has to be better educated in recognizing how to intervene and how to support child abuse prevention," she said in an AAA press release.

I remember the Debra Jean Milke case in Arizona.  No evidence exists that Debra killed her son, but she was convicted of murder and conspiracy because the prosecution alleged she paid two men to kill her son.  It's a very strange and disputed case.

I know that sometimes witnesses get subpoenaed and never even get called...all depends on how the case is going..

Exactly.  Its just a list of 'possible' witnesses for the case.  They may decide at a later date they don't NEED to present all of them.

Your Welcome PJ........and I really think Tim will find Caylee in the coming days......I cant wait to see Casey behind bars again.........

I sure hope it happens real soon too.  I've been waking up a couple times in the night and I feel like I'm obsessed.  I have 3 doggies, 4 on the weekend and I have hair-balls the size of basketballs  ::MonkeyHaHa::floating around my house.

My Hubby asks before he leaves for work if there's anything new on the case.  He does the same when he gets home.  Little does he know that in our 31 years of marriage that it's taken one little Precious Angel Baby to give him some serious competition.  He did show his amusement when I came out to tell him about the GJ and told him I found out on "SM".

When I was on grand jury duty, it didn't take long at all to hear the witnesses and hand down an indictment. You have to remember that you are only hearing the prosecution's side during a grand jury hearing. There is no one to make objections, no judge to approach for sidebars, etc. The witness is sworn in, the prosecutor asks questions, the court reporter takes down the answers, and the witness is escorted from the room again. It's very cut and dried, and moves quickly. We routinely indicted several people in a single day of hearings, and I was on a federal grand jury, so our cases were pretty big. We had quite a few with things like major Medicaid fraud, drug rings, etc.

I hope your right Wink   It amazes me that with all they have released, anybody could dispute it.  Can you imagine what they still have that hasn't been released?  I'm sure we've only seen a small portion of what they have.
