Why would any grandmother wait to trial to tell her side of the story.  Her grandaughter has been missing for 17 weeks-her daughter has been  arrested-dont you think if they had a story to tell it should me now.  I really dont understand these people.  What were they like before this happend.  I wonder were they always this nuts-or is this a new conditon.

I believe that Cindy has always had her own brand of crazy going on and it really infected the family dynamics, mixed with the drug usage by Casey ( and probably closeted use by Cindy)it spiraled to a heartbreaking finale

Good morning, monkeys.

Do we know for an absolute fact that the grand jury heard only Casey's case yesterday?

It seems to me that if the second sealed indictment was for someone like Lee or Annie, they would have arrested the person by now. I mean, the police know where everyone tied to the case lives, and the police stations are open 24 hours a day, so I don't understand why they would hesitate.

Any thoughts?

Well, we know it wasn't Caylee's dress now. Interesting that Cindy said they were hoping for a "speedy trial"> I wonder if that is the defense plan?

The only problem with that is that I've seen MANY pictures of Caylee in all kinds of Disney dresses.  I don't believe a decription of the dress has been released or has it?

IIRC, it was stated that the dress found was just like Caylee was wearing in a photo.
I know there was a photo of her much younger posted on here in one but I am sure there are many more photos of her with different outfits. Living in FL I love to go shopping at the DIsney store in the mall and my kids also had many outfits over the years as does my granddaughter. LE probably won't give out an exact description since they are testing for evidence.

It's quite possible that they didn't have the time to hear any other cases, just as you say. I wondered, though, because when I was serving on the grand jury here, we would sometimes be given information over the course of several months, then when we were given the final piece of information and asked to vote, the whole process only took about five minutes. Since yesterday was the final day of service for that group of jurors, I wondered if they had a quick vote on a case they had been hearing about earlier.

BT, my personal opinion is that readers are misinterpreting this. All the indictments were sealed as Casey wasn't in custody. The second charge simply allows for the charge to apply if someone else had been encouraged or directed by her to harm Caylee. I don't believe that is the case. Just standard wording which may allow for her to say "I didn't do it...so & so did". She's still held accountable. JMO.

Good Morning everyone!  Last night my friend and I decided to have a little drink to celebrate.  We toasted GA for his bravery, then we toasted LE for their perseverence, then we toasted TM for his dedication (you  see where this is going?)  Anyway to make a long story endless, my head hurts to much to read ALL the back pages, so I'm just wondering has anyong heard anything re Lee?

omg - did you guys and gals hear Nejame when Nancy asked if CINDY would take a polygraph???

he yammered on ~ "SHE'S ON MEDICATION"!!!

omg - that's one hell of a PR guy.

She pretty well fessed up to that in the "exlcusive" with Holly. I still can't believe that interview.  Even the medication didn't help, she is still crazy!!

yes - true... but Nejame was saying in a way - hey, here's a legitimate reason why my obviously concealing client won't take the polygraph. Who does he think watches these shows? 4 year olds?

like it was a valid excuse when a child is missing... I thought he was off his rocker too. Maybe he needs some of Cindy's "calmin' down medicine in a jug" too.

Wouldn't some medications affect the outcome of the polygraph though? Maybe that's what he was getting at.
