Do most of you think that the rumors about a second POI are true?

ok, I'm getting sleepy but have to get a last thought out

so let's say the body is in the trunk for 7-11 days, there would be a mess for Casey to clean up and not a small one either. So, what would be left to take out to a wooded area to bury or toss in the water at that point? How would one clean up that trunk? Trash bags? Would she simply scoop the remains out into trash bags and toss into a dumpster? 

Sorry to be crude, but I'm sure we'll hear worse when we get more forensic details.

I tend to think the body was wrapped in something in the truck because if the body had been out unwrapped evidence would have been easily obtained and a murder indictment would have come much sooner.  I think LP could be right that the body was wrapped in something but some bodily fluids leaked out.  They probably dried but smelled to high heaven the longer they sat there.  Thus, KC abandoned the car.  JMO

That is a possibility as well. I've been doubting the 11 days in the trunk myself b/c of the condition the body would be in after that. But if the body were in a bag it might contain most of the fluids.

It could have been in a bag, wrapped and she moved it into a plastic container/bin/rubbermaid, trunk, suitcase, whatever in hopes that it would help contain the smell and make it easier to dispose of later.

Goodnmad.. that actress you posted a picture of was in a series on either HBO or Showtime.. I think Tell Me You Love Me.  Aside from the money-stealing, baby-killing part, her character was actually was very much like Casey.

I did not know that. Interesting. I just saw her on The Cleaner.

I remember he said back pack, and Casey's clothes  but what was Caylee wearing ?

And I think Cindy has stated NOTHING of Caylee's was missing from the house

Do I think someone helped her after the fact? Yes.

Do I think they have a sealed indictment that was issued yesterday but not released because they don't have a person in custody yet? No.

I think the rumor was caused by the wording of counts two and three in the indictment. jmo

Yes, I think there is someone who helped after the fact.  On a different note, Jose Garcia was in the courtroom with Jose Biaz this morning.  Here is the link to his firm.  http://protectingfloridafamilies.com/jfg.shtml  I think he has the trial experience to be lead chair in the case but no DP experience.  In my state, you cannot be lead chair without having served on the trial team of a DP case and 5 years of trial court experience.

I'm not sure. I think it may have just been the wording of the indictment that stirred the pot. But I'm not saying no one else is involved. I just don't think they are near an arrest of that person. IMO

Death Row inmates can be distinguished from other inmates by their orange t-shirts. Their pants are the same blue colored pants worn by regular inmates.

IS CINDY REALLY DEFENDING HER DAUGHTER?

Some of you may recall me writing a post about a week ago in which I said that I felt some sympathy for Casey because I believe that her mother Cindy was so controlling, manipulative and critical. 


I agree with you and would go one further... Cindy did not want Casey to be a grown up or self sufficient ... Casey might have gotten a life, a job and perhaps a boy-man and moved taking Caylee.
One thing Richard Grund does not mention is what as their relationship like when everyone thought they were grandparents ? Bet he could tell a tale if he wasn't so nice !

Toss in the obsessive texts to Tony on the 15 th after the fight and presto you have a girl who is ready to spin and snap out of control.

Ya know, when I was doing all of that maggot research at the Body Farm, a few things came to mind.  Maggots are not tiny and they multiply very quickly.  There were some pictures that I found, but I didn't bring them to the forum because they really were pretty disgusting.  I did read that the maggots and beetles can devour an adult corpse in just days.  I was also reading about how a corpse starts to become liquid.  In a day or so the stomach gasses cause the abdomen to enlarge and the skin changes color.  The point of this entire disgusting tirade is how could Casey drive around with her daughter in the trunk in those stages of decomposition, not to even mention the smell?  Casey appears to have moved Caylee from the sandbox or playhouse to the trunk after a day or so.  She then moved the child from the trunk to her current resting place probably 11 days later.  How could a mother do this and not have a complete emotional breakdown?  She has to be void of any conscience and probably a really severe sociopath.  And on top of this, she posted her tell no one, trust only yourself poem and then went out and hit the club scene.  According to the transcripts, nobody who saw her during this period of time even noticed any change in her demeanor.  This scenario is one of the things that boggles my mind the most in this case.  Casey is one sick young woman and it would be best for her parents to start dealing with these realities.  It's obvious that they want to believe that Caylee is still alive and Casey is innocent, but George and Cindy need some major psychological help right now to deal with the realities of what Casey has done.

A dark blue backpack? I missed the list of what was in the car, but wasn't a dark backpack found where Red searched? It's in his pics!

I think you have Cindy figured out...   Great post..

a 2nd POI...  wording in the released indictment  refers to "Another person"  which I took to  be standard language.

If the GJ heard more information on "Another person"  realated to Caylee's case, which is sealed until detainment of that person,  I would expect an arrest would happen very soon.

I would say NO to a second POI     
JMO
