Maybe it won't be a speedy trial and CA and GA can just go back to work.

They need to get back in the routine of their normal life.

I really don't want to hear from them anymore.  As soon as Joser gets his discovery the Anthony's will have no choice but to just shut up and go on with their lives.

This case has convinced me that every single person needs to take time to think about their own values and where they stand.  Recognizing that a stressful situation is not the time to assess your own beliefs, everyone needs to think long and hard about what is important to them and where they draw the lines.  Those lines are so important and most people want to waffle and avoid committment to these tough decisions.  But, when we avoid taking a stand within ourselves, we find that in times of need, the lines are drawn in sand and we have no foundation on which to rely.

On the other hand, maybe the Anthony's have drawn their lines, and they reflect such a lack of moral character that we can hardly believe it.  We want to think our neighbors in the community, who appear to be so like us outwardly, have the same values.  It's not always the case.

I posted closely to your above position although not nearly as articulately stated.  We should know what we would do in horrific circumstances.  I know of myself that when tragedy hits I am calm, analytical & can endure much more than I ever felt I was capable of, after the situation is under control my weaknesses surface in private & my emotions flow, but in no way should emotions ever rule actions in extreme circumstances.  That life lesson was delivered to me at the age of 20.

Found out much later on that if someone was sick, I would find myself catching the vomit so that they wouldn't get it all over themselves & assured them it was no problem.  We really can rise to the occassion but of course that is only if we have self expectations of kindess & caring as a core value.

[Snip from my prior post]

Suggestions by the public that Casey Anthony be sent to Guantanamo Bay for torture and questioning are being considered until she admits where her beautiful daughter is.

I'm off to bed, too.  It's been an interesting week so far.  I think the media will die down now until some discoveries are made, like, hopefully, Caylee's body.  See ya later.

I know that when my bf died 2 years ago, xanax became my best friend!!! However, as distraught as I was (we dated 7 years), my doctor told me not to drive or I would get a dui......And I have panic disorder so I took it before.  So she really has no business driving and LE is being VERY easy on her, she could have EASILY gotten a dui yesterday with her little dukes and hazards stunt...idiot!

I think there are a lot of heavily medicated drivers on the roadway today. Think of all the people on anti depressants and pain pills.

Not that this makes it ok, just pointing out the fact if Cindy should not drive I would imagine the prescribing Dr would make that clear and she is not the only medicated driver.

OK, Monkeys...turning in for the night. I just want all of you to know how much I enjoy this board. Although I wish crimes like this were nonexistent, it's nice to know there are so many monkeys that care enough to share ideas and say prayers in hopes this baby is found. I do believe that Tim and his search team will be able to find peace for little Caylee.  Now that CA and GA have some time, maybe they will somehow come to accept reality and support the efforts to find Caylee.  Accepting the loss of a loved one is a multi stage process, with many strang turns along the way.  I lost my husband 5 years ago, when he was only 49 years old.  The grief that followed his death was unbearable and unexplainable at times. Although we knew cancer would take him from us, it took a long time after his death for the hard, cold and lonely finality of losing him to set in.  So...goodnight all my Monkey friends. Be safe and let's keep working to help bring justice for Caylee!!!

So true.  I discuss values with my students every semester.  While we do not all have the same value set, I do believe it is important to examine your beliefs and understand them BEFORE being placed in a position where they are challenged.  Cindy, especially, seems to believe one thing but tries to act in a completely different manner in public.  In a stressful situation like this, her lack of integrity and honesty undermines anything she says or does.

Anyway, good night now.

True, but most medicated drivers dont cross three lanes and fly into a parking lot with news crews behind them and the LE wanting them to hand their daughter over....

Thanks katntx - yes it can be done.  I do hope they find Caylee's body though.  Will make it much better for the prosecution and Caylee can have a proper burial.
