If you are interested in some of the "cutting edge" technology coming out of the Oak Ridge Laboratory, you will find this article most interesting and informative.

If you saw the video, you heard about "cutting edge" research and how they were excited to be able to use it in this case.

Maybe something other than related in this article but I see several applications that are possible.

My guess would be that they didn't ask him very much at all. They probably swore him in, presented him with a copy of statements that had been made previously regarding his encounter with Casey about the car trunk, and that was it.

If so, it wouldn't have taken him over an hour to testify, IMO. I doubt he got off that easily. Much of the questions were probably regarding the gas cans and the day they got the car out of the tow yard.

I just got an email response from Carpe.  He is fine, just very busy!  He was very excited over yesterdays results.

Thanks for the answers on TES and the search.  Does anyone else think that Casey is possibly going to plead that she is a long time victim of mental and possibly physical abuse, and that led to a psychotic break?

Marti, that's a good point.  When Jose Baez says people will understand when the facts come out, I think that what you suggest (that she had a psychotic break after a long perior of abuse) would be the most likely defense.  It's so frustrating.  CinCin said the day before the indictment (in the interview on a porch) that the truth would come out and explain Casey's actions and she says absolutely the Casey she knows could never do anything to Caylee.  Perhaps that bolsters the psychotic episode argument, that Casey did something to Caylee in some weird psychotic state and that the Casey she knew would never do something to her daughter.  Of course, we all know how well CinCin knew her daughter!  HA!!

It would be ironic if Jose B is building a defense that includes as motive the way CinCin treated Caylee (saying she was a bad mother, etc.) while  in an interview this morning CinCIn said she loves Casey more and more every day . . .

When I look at the dysfunction in the Anthony family, it makes me think of a few sayings that 12 steppers are familar with:  You're only as sick as your secrets.  Yes they are sick all right!  Another expression is that you can't save your face and your ass at the same time.  Meaning, if you are still worried about how your look, you can't address the important issues.  All this comes to mind when I think of the Anthonys and especially when I think of CinCin and her behavior.

Sorry, I'm rambling, so frustrated!

I dont see them using that approach.  There are to many vidoe interviews of Cindy and George claiming they are the typical loving family and Cindy even says in her last interview on the porch that a big fight on fathers day is a lie and they have never had a big fight.  The prosecutors will have so much amo because Cindy cant shut her big trap!

I was just going over the cell phone calls KC made on 6/15 - 17. There was a flurry of phone calls to her father & mother's cell phones as well as to their home. NO PHONE CALLS TO LEE! Does anyone else think this is strange?

Two reasons that I find it very difficult to comprehend how Leonard Padilla came to the determination that Lee Anthony is the father of Caylee Marie.  As far as I know NO OTHER SOURCE has made this claim.

1.  DNA from Cindy, George and Lee was only requested LAST WEEK.
2.  Forensic evident was only ordered LAST WEEK by a judge to be turned over to the defence.

The forensic DNA testing of the inside of the trunk of Casey's vehicle confirmed that the decomposition and hair strands belong to Caylee Marie.  The confirmation was made when this DNA was compared to existing DNA that belong to Caylee Marie.

She just knew that she would atleast get a bond... and get out again...and, no bond...meaning she'll be in the popo until atleast the trail is over...and, of course possibly longer but, we know that there is noway she can get out now...and, she knows this too and, i'm sure Baez gave her some false promises/hopes  and, now she is extremely upset with him and, her parents....

My guess is that Baez is in the process of fighting the leak during the gj hearing..We had a case here that had a leak not from an intercom but from a gj member and they won and had to take it before another jury..I'm not sure about florida law. They were also unable to use the info that was leaked
